Ivation 9 Tray Digital Food Dehydrator, Adjustable Temp & Timer

Love my dehydrator!! Hands down one of the best purchases I have made for my cookie business! Has cut my drying time so much with this gem! The quality of this unit is incredible. It is a lot more quiet than I expected from one this size and consumes virtually no power. It is super easy to use right out of the box and I was able to begin using it from day one! So thankful I decided to purchase. Best decision and such a smart investment as it is really such a time saver!

I received my Ivation 9 food dehydrator a little over a week ago. I have made beef jerky and dried bananas, Both came out excellent. My jerky is the one I can make and know my times. The bananas were a first for me but was fast and easy to prep. At the end of the 10 hour dry time the bananas were definitely ready and 4 or 5 stuck to the tray. But those were finagled with a plastic spatula and came off well enough. Both times (jerky/Bananas) I put the trays into my dish washer and washed in the "delicate cycle". They came out looking like straight out of the box new! I will update at a later time but so far so happy! Update: 7/20/2021 Definitely 5 stars. I have been using this dehydrator now for well over a year and it performs spot on every time. Looks as new as when it came out of the box. Of course its a immediate clean after use for me. I can fill up all the trays with easily 6+ pounds of Top eye of round.

We not only use this product for dehydrating fruits (and it works very well for that!) I also use it to cure and dry plastic scale model parts after painting. After painting your part, let it gas out for about 15 -20 minutes. If you place the freshly painted part into the dryer, you'll get a dull finish. I cure my parts at 113 degrees ( that is one of the settings, the next is 122 degrees etc. it appears these temps are preset by the factory) for about 60 minutes. For foods or parts, you get 9 plastic trays that are vented which will enable you to make as much dehydrated food as you want or need. All of the trays can be used or you can remove as many as you want if you need a lot of space. The interior of this unit measures approximately 11" wide, 15" deep and 11" tall, so a lot of room inside. The unit is quiet and has an alarm feature with a nice and loud tone to let you know the time you set has completed. Lastly, the dryer is very light. I could not weigh it but I would guess it is 5-7 pounds. Nonetheless, it is very easy to move should you want to store it in your cabinet and only have it out when drying.

The size is great. The noise level is minimal. It does the job. I do wish it had metal shelves, although that is not a big deal. The one disappointment to me is that my oven has a dehydrator feature that works spectacularly without using much electricity. I may not have purchased this had I known this feature of my oven. That being said, it is nice to have basically two dehydrators at the same time. I would recommend this product!

This is an amazing little machine! It has a drip tray that is easy to clean, but I still put a piece of parchment paper or foil over it just to speed things up while cleaning up. The trays are pretty crystal plastic, and you can load so much product on each one. I turned them around halfway through cooking because the stuff in the back seemed to be drying a lot quicker than the stuff in the front. If you only have a little food going in, you can space the trays out for better circulation and less cooking time. When you are done, just pop the trays into the sink for a quick soak and rinse. I don't know if it is recommended that they can go in the dishwasher or not, but I think they would warp in that high temperature environment. Go ahead and buy this! You will not be disappointed!

OK, yes, I admit I haven't dried fruits or meats, but it does do well drying my 3d printer PLA and PETG filament. The temperature controls allow you to select from a predetermined list (I think there are 5 choices) but 1 is safely below the PLA glassing temperature and another one is safely below the PETG glassing temperature. Then, you can set a timer (I've been using 4 hours and that seems sufficient) and it gives a nice series of beeps when it's done. Overall, it has helped my older spools that were stringing quite badly, so I'd say this is worth it to recover those. And on top of that, I can fit about 6 rolls in there at once. Plus, should I get the urge to dry fruit, I still have the shelves, uncut, to actually do that too, unlike if I had purchased and modified one of the round units. :-)

Works amazing! It was just what I was needing to help with my cookie business. Bery easy to use and works great for drying my royal icing cookies.

Used for vegetables and spices so far have been quite pleased with ease of use and results would buy again if ever needed !

my little woman wanted to this as one of her bday gifts because she wanted to attempt making spicy beef jerky, and while these are pretty basic machines this one worked exactly how it's suposed to easy to set time, and temps, lots of light trays it did what it was ment for so i'm happy with it, if i had to find one complaint i think the little drip tray on bottom needs to be a lil better shaped but it still worked just a lil off. so thanks for item, definilty recomend it if anyone wants to ... well dehydrate lol

Love this dehydrator. Can fit lots of herbs in and dries them quickly.

Works well. I have no complaints about these dehydrators. I tried to shop around and get best value for money and I believe this does it. You can control the temperature and the timer is wonderful.
