It's a Shearwater...enough said!
I have 3 different Shearwater Perdix computers. Perdix (no air integration as I bought it before they had it), Perdix AI (wanted AI as I had it on a previous computer and loved it and the transmitter worked with Shearwater and as a bonus could use the old one as a backup for tech diving), and now a Perdix 2 (son started diving and wanted him to see the joy of air integration). These computers are pretty much bulletproof and are the easiest to read that I've found (especially as my eyes get older). I would consider that Peregrine, as I don't really us trimix (yet), but I really like the user-replaceable batteries. If the battery dies, you can pretty much find AA batteries anywhere. Add to the package Shearwater support and this is a no-brainer.

Just purchased my second Perdix 2.
I lost my first Perdix 2 Ti computer at the end of a dive in Indonesia last October. Just bought my second Perdix 2 because nothing else compares.

Great diving computer
It is easy to configure, indications are easy to read, works great with 2 Swift AI transmitters (sidemount). It is not mention in the description, but it comes with a preinstalled protective film.

Worth It!
Bought this as a second/backup computer to my first Perdix 2. Have 200 dives on my primary Perdix 2 and about 80 dives on this one. Never had any issues with either. Easy integration with Shearwater Cloud which makes dive logging much easier that paper dive logs. I use the Perdix 2 exclusively for recreational diving which many would consider a waste since the Perdix 2 is technical dive capable. I picked this because of the large digits for the important information, customizable mini-screens, air integration, and user replaceable AA battery. The electronic compass works well, but I still prefer a traditional compass. The battery last around 80 dives with Air Integration for me. My dives are between 45 - 75 minutes with max depth typically 70ft. I wasted $1800 on two other computers that both failed. One after 40 dives and the other after 100 dives. So far my primary Perdix 2 Ti has outlasted both computers.

My new favorite piece of diving equipment!
After many hours of researching and watching YouTube videos about different dive computers and the pros and cons of each computer I finally landed on buying the highly recommended Perdix 2 Ti Black. It is on the pricey side of the list of dive computers, however I consider it a very important piece of equipment to monitor my well-being while underwater so I opted to pay the extra money compared to cheaper dive computers. I also consider it to be future proof for quite awhile if I want to ever move from recreational diving into technical diving. This past weekend I had the chance to break it in and try it out for the first time on a few dives. I LOVE IT! Screen is easy to read, even in low light conditions, and I have it customized exactly how I want it including it working perfectly with the Swift Transmitter I also purchased to go with it. Over multiple dives I didn't notice any drop in comms between the transmitter and computer either. The amount of data if provides you when you download the dive logs is amazing. You have all the very basic information plus a bunch of advanced data if you really want to drill down into your statistics and fine tune your underwater performance. The one downside that I personally do not like, isn't even with the computer itself, but rather their downloadable app. It feels very outdated and the UI could be improved and made a bit more modern. It does not match the same quality that Shearwater puts into the actual dive computer itself so hopefully they eventually overhaul their app. I don't see this as a major issue, there are various third-party dive log apps that will connect to any dive computer and download the data which I found work much better for now. Love my Perdix 2 and I'm already excited to get more diving in just so I can use it more! Highly recommend!
