Doesn't come with batteries but that's to be expected, shines well and has two modes, works as intended and is very practical. Good product, not much more to say.

This is a solid UV flashlight with both 365 and 395 nm Cree light elements. You can immediately tell the difference when you click from one to the other in picking up different substances. You might not like what you find in your bathroom, but you put light on the subject! Obviously, either wavelength works better in the dark. The price was decent (better even on sale) for the usual aircraft aluminum body with variable zoom focus. I went with the regular AAA batteries although it comes with the adapter to fit your interchangeable rechargeable battery unit. It is built like a tactical flashlight, but unless you are fighting germs or scorpions I don't know why. It has a handy pocket clip and wrist lanyard. The recessed button on the end is functional - you can stand it on either end. I have other such UV lights, but this one is the strongest and best of the bunch. The other little LED bulbs are weak in this size - you would need a big flashlight to do better. This is compact, solid, and functional.

Well, it works! Over the years, one of our dogs started using our sun room as a toilet at night if she had to go. This has become increasingly frustrating since we sometimes don't know until we see a dried strain, at which point we would use a spot cleaner on it. After a recent vacuum, however, I spotted several suspicious areas that I hadn't seen previously, so I marked them with sticky notes and dug this flashlight out for a more comprehensive test. Sure enough, it found all the sticky note spots plus two more that I can't see with my naked eye even knowing where to look. Grr. Attached are two of the spots using the purple dog-pee setting as well as a video of the numerous areas around the room. Some of them didn't show up well in the video, sorry, but they're definitely lit up in person. For better or worse, this light works for dog matter at least. After verifying that what I found myself was indeed what I thought plus finding spots that I couldn't see (but that can now be cleaned, yay), I'm very pleased with this black light. Not pleased with the dog, but pleased with the light. :p

I bought this to view my UV reactive gem and mineral collection and it works great! The higher wavelength usually looks better to the naked eye, but the lower wavelength is great for taking photos.

This uv light is very well built and has many uses. Used to to find scorpions in texas at night. As my pup tries to eat them. Battery life is as expected about 4 hours with a 18650. I do like the 2 wavelengths.

The light is exactly what I was wanting. The 2 different UV lights are what I wanted. So far the battery life is good. I don't always use my flashlight only when I'm searching for uranium vintage dishware and it comes in handy!

What a fantastic little flashlight! Its well built and sturdy and fits great in my hand. I love the telescoping feature to spread or concentrate the beam depending on what you're using it for. I know it doesn't translate well on the video but the two different wavelengths are definitely noticeable in person. I also like that it runs on 3AAA batteries buuuuutttttt if you're like me and have some other similar things around the house, you can ALSO run it on a rechargeable 18650 battery which is awesome! Works great for detecting pet messes and stains and has definitely helped keep the house clean when you hear that all too familiar cat [insert pukey noises here] but they're in a different room and you don't catch them in the act! Would 1000% buy this bad boy (or girl) again!
