OEM MAP Sensor (Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor) failed after 147,000 miles in 2004 Mercedes W163 ML350. Common signs of manifold absolute pressure sensor problems include excessive fuel consumption, lack of power, and smoke test didn't pass. failing an emissions test. Use OBDII scan tool to verify Rich air-fuel ratio: Look for rough idle, poor fuel economy, slow acceleration and a strong smell of gasoline (especially at idle). When idling, intake pressure usually ranges from 16-22 in. Hg, pressure can go as low as 10 in. Hg. when driving. P0106 is a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) for failed MAP sensor but error code might not always show up. Replace MAP sensor and hose. Quick 5 minutes replacement.

Direct fit and easy install
Fortunately, this sensor was mounted in a very easy place to reach on my Mercedes GLK 450. It was a exact fit, and took about 10 minutes, start to finish. It was a bonus that this actually fixed my problem, because I was spit-balling.

Ich habe den Sensor für meine Mercedes C-Klasse W205 gekauft und eingebaut. Der Einbau hat problemlos funktioniert und der Sensor macht qualitativ einen guten Eindruck. Seit dem Austausch läuft mein Motor wieder ruhig und sauber, genau so, wie ich es mir erhofft hatte. Bei einem Ersatzteil zählt für mich am Ende vor allem, dass es passt und zuverlässig funktioniert und genau das ist hier der Fall. Bisher bin ich absolut zufrieden.
