Perfect for hip or knee surgery
This kit is perfect;it makes you more independent if you have a partner and is essential if you are by yourself post surgery. it has the 5 things you really need. Add compression socks and a basket with a hoop handle (think Easter Basket style, to gather medicines, notebook, pen, TV charger etc.) and you are good to go. 1)The compression sock assist device makes it ossible to get ON the socks- 2)the extra long hook/shoe horn makes it possible to get the OFF, without bending. 3)The strap, which I did not think would be useful lets you lit your leg without pain or stresson your hip. 4) The loofa on the stick is a good back washing brush useful before surgery when you have to shower with antibacterial soap for three/four days. 5) The backscratcher tool was not as useful for us but someone else would find it essential. 6) THE GRABBER- you will need it and keep it forever! Pick up a dropped sock, reach for the remote control, pick up a dropped pill bottle. All good. I bought this on a whim when the algorithms of Amazon realized I was looking for post surgical items- bet buy ever. I will recommend to any friend undergoing hip or knee surgery. When you cannot, per drs instructions and the limits of pain, turn, bend, twist or even pick up something from floor…this kit has it covered.

Best product
Love this! Good shoe horn, better dressing hook! Variable lengths to fit what you need when you need it. Easy to change out the extension. Sturdy shoe horn, strong enough to help me with boots and long enough that I don't have to bend over. But the absolute best part is the hook at the other end! Easily remove compression socks without giving yourself a hernia! Easily straighten bra straps and swimming suit backs. And it's a great back scratcher. Remove sections to fit in a carry-on and no more need of finding someone to help you dress! Very Highly Recommended

Good value and useful aids
Definitely found this useful and good value for the money. Didn’t use everything but the sock aid, grabber, and dressing stick alone make it worth the spend. The sock aid works better than I ever expected, the grabber even picks up small pieces of paper, and the dressing stick I didn’t think I would use - until I needed to take my socks off. Highly recommend

Good for light use.
This works very well, but it is plastic, so it only lasted around eight months. Hook on one side snapped off while removing my compression socks. I can use the shoe horn but the remaining hook is pretty useless for removing because it's turned the other way. Still use it for pulling clothing up but no grasp for socks.

Recommend to all
This is a life saver. I had back surgery that me with cages and rods installed and can no longer bend. The length alone is such a plus and it makes it so easy to put on my shoes. The s on end helps me put socks on with the help of my grabber but also helps me in and out of shoes and socks. I recommend this to anyone that doesn’t have the Mobility anymore

Nice product
This is so handy! It’s great for its obvious intended use, but works great, to pull up clothing, or pick up objects from the floor.

lifesaver for independence
I am obsessed with this thing. I had a spinal fusion and am using this for recovery while I have mobility restrictions and it's super easy to put my tennis shoes on. the only complaint that I have is that the tongue of the shoe can get bunched up but that would be true with any shoe horn. I am 5'2" and the length is perfect for me but can easily work for taller people as well. I like to have as much independence at this time as possible and this shoe horn fits the bill. it does help to remove socks as well. I'm sure it could help to remove clothing but I haven't tried it for that purpose and might need a video or OT to walk me through those steps.

Know your limitations in using this product
The components are very useful. I am totally dependent upon the sock helper. Positioning the sock on it can be a bit tricky to do so that the sock slides smoothly on with the heel settling on the right soot. I loved the grabber until it broke—within a month or so. First, the rubber tips started separating. Then one day, a simple attempt to grab something I had done several times before left me with a broken, useless tool. It just popped and that was that. It is lightweight and comfortable to use (a plus for most grabs) but it did not last. The back scratcher extends nicely and has proven itself, but in hindsight should the scratcher be made of metal??? Maybe not. The shoehorn has worked so far. I have not used the other items.

Makes everything easier!
Honestly really solid. Used this after surgery to help minimize lifting, and putting shoes on was the worst — this helped a ton! It's super easy to use. Highly recommend.
