This game was good, loads more to it than the main story line. Annoyingly with the switch version, you have to wait for the different zones to load, instead of playstation and Xbox versions; but still great for a portable console

My partner and I have been immersed in the wizarding world for over 45 enchanting hours, and the thrill is far from over with 40% of the game still to explore. The magic of Hogwarts Legacy shines brightest in its ability to bring us together for an unforgettable cooperative adventure. It's a rare gem that caters to both of our gaming preferences, providing a perfect opportunity for quality time together. The seamless integration of gameplay elements allows us to share the joy of discovery, unraveling mysteries, and mastering magical abilities side by side. Despite the minor graphical nuances, the game's charm lies in its intricate storytelling and the freedom it offers to craft our own wizarding destiny. Bought this expecting a card. YP prefers cards. Front is different to what was shown. Internet download required from Nintendo e-shop (cheaper to buy directly from there by the way) using the code inside. Haven't opened the plastic wrapper just in case we decide to return it. No mention in the title or elsewhere saying it's a code. It needs a minimum of 30GB to download. Now will need to look/buy a SD card or return it! Please be transparent in what is being sold, time wasted. EDIT. Placed new SD card in Switch. Decided to keep the game. When we opened it, it had the card and a download code! So didn't really need the SD card. Oh. Anyway code works fine, downloaded no problems. YP likes the game. All good in the end.

Got this game due to the pestering of my friends who have already played- this game did not disappoint!!! If anything, it exceeded expectations for a game- an amazing plot line, distinct characters and brilliant graphics. The main storyline was brilliant, and side quests were still engaging.

Having read some mixed reviews about gameplay, I was worried about going from the PS5 to the switch. However, I love playing on my switch and the freedom it allows me so bought it. I was not the slightest bit disappointed! The graphics aren't as good as the PS5, but the gameplay is exactly the same. There's a bit more laoding on the switch. For example, going to different areas of the castle or using the floo network can take a bit of time to load. But absolutely worth it for the portability side!

Hogwarts Legacy on the Nintendo Switch is an impressive port that manages to deliver a great gaming experience despite some visual downgrades and compromises. However, the Switch version does come with some performance issues and longer loading times compared to other platforms. Popular game in our house. Daughter has it for the PS5 and really liked it so bought for the Switch too. Good game for Harry Potter fans. Offers enough challenge to keep her busy too.
