Listen up people
This is pure, unflavored, organic, single ingredient bone broth powder. People are leaving very mixed reviews here which are completely irrelevant to the purpose of this product. Purpose: If you have an upcoming surgery. If you have an injury. If you have skin concerns. If you desire anti aging products that are pure and organic. If you need more potassium in your system and seek an instant intake without taking pills or eating 500 bananas. If you want to lose weight without weight loss pills, shots, etc. If you want tighter skin with more plump in areas you need plump and smoother skin (getting rid of cellulite) If you want a natural intake of protein and collagen without any fillers. Anti inflammatory. If you fall and heal slow. If you have chronic fatigue, or had Lyme Disease 5 times - Like me! I was the first childhood case of Lyme Disease in Rhode Island and by the time Doctors realized what I had, I was well into stage 4. I was very fortunate it only affected by joints and not my mind. That said, this product is my savior. I don't go rolling around in high grass so I can speak on experience - Lyme Disease does not remain dormant if you are diagnosed in late stages. That is the purpose of this product and nothing else will accommodate the above said concerns that brought you to this review. As far as taste, it's pure organic unflavored USDA Beef Bone Broth Powder. I would be concerned if this dissolved instantly... I would be more concerned if it tasted like a steak dinner aka "Yummy" That should be your last concern if you seek feeling better. It smells like Beef Bones. One serving fills you up and suppresses your appetite. It's clunky, who cares. Get a jar, mix it with warm water, and shake it for a few minutes. Drink it right down. Warm water gets this into your system quickly as your body will break it down, and send it to the places you need it most. It tastes very bland which is great. Salty is bad. So please disregard the nonsense on here about taste, clunkiness, and whatever else people say for a refund or just to be critical about everything. There is a comprehensive description on this item. It just takes a while to dissolve. It will not dissolve unless you mix it in warm water and shake it like a morocca.

Clean Pure Taste, Top Organic Quality
The price is a bit steep for the number of servings. I take half a scoop a couple times a week, so about $55-60 for 40 servings. With other organic options available now though, I hope competition drives the price down a bit in the future. I consider this broth to be of a medicinal/whole food quality compared to isolated collagen powder that's heavily processed/atomized in comparison and lacks the natural gelatin/vitamins/minerals. The micronutrients and different types of peptides in bone broth can help repair damaged tissue in ways that plain collagen powder cannot. Depending on your use/reason for supplementing, other forms may be more ideal on a grams per dollar basis. It tastes like pure umami/beef stock, though I usually add soy sauce and sesame oil for a light asian styled broth. Best mixed with boiling water, not just hot. If you use near-boiling water, it dissolves uniformly within a minute. No other protein/collagen/gelatin has been as effective on repairing gut/organ damage than bone broth in my experience.

Delicious in Savory Soups!!
Plenty of reviews say itโs tastes disgusting and does not blend. I have found that this organic bone broth does indeed blend well if you do it correctly; I pour in some organic chicken or beef broth, some coconut milk, and plenty of water, then I add a scoop or so of this powder and gently whisk it until it has dissolved, which it does easily, but takes a minute or so of gentle whisking for it all to blend in. It does get slightly foaming, but that goes away once you add veggies, spices, garlic, etc. and heat it up. The resulting soup is so healthy and delicious, even my little one loves it!! I am very pleased with this bone broth powder and definitely recommend it for adding a good collagen boost to your soup. I havenโt tried it in a smoothie or any other recipes, but I love my soups anyway, so this works great for me. Hope you find a way to make it work well for you, too. :)

Worth Every Penny
My doctor recommended making bone broth at home to help heal my gut. Who has time to track down organic beef bones and slow cook them for 24 hours? I opted for this organic bone broth powder instead. It's great and it is healing my gut, without all the work. I looked at many products before I purchased and this was one of the few that was organic, and the only one that was pure bone broth. Plus, it contains protein which is perfect for my morning smoothie routine. Some reviews talked about the foaming, I blend it with nut milk, berries and a few other powdered supplements and have no issues with foaming. I buy the plain and there really is no taste. I am on my 4th container, and it's worth every penny!

Good but pricey
Unlike many other bone broth powders out there this one seems to be 100% bone broth in powder form without all the other junk. Left Coast also sells a non-organic version of this and it's literally half the price. Why? Both are labeled as grass-fed, which is confusing because if both products are grass-fed than what's the relevance of one being organic? Maybe I'm just being taken for a ride. I have no doubt it costs more to source organic ingredients but I also believe the nutrition industry as a whole has a lot of leeway to hike the price for that little "USDA Organic" label. As for mixing it, it's sticky and clumpy and difficult to stir in by hand, but if you stir long enough it will eventually dissolve completely. However the clumpiness is testament to the beef gelatin present. I use a ninja blender with hot water and it gets quite foamy but the foam settles down as it sits.

Easy way to get extra protein, great for joints, skin, hair
I've been using this for a few months, at least three times a week. I make myself a cappuccino every morning and I put some of this in my free standing milk foaming machine with milk or soymilk, once it starts spinning put in the powder, with cinnamon or sweetener sometimes. It does make the foam a bit thicker than it would have been, but it's basically flavorless and tolerable. This is a bit pricey but there's no waste and the nutrition is excellent especially for older women like myself trying to get in enough protein every day.

Doesn't taste anything like homemade bone broth
Don't know how I missed the one star reviews this time. I agree with them, that this is so difficult to swallow. It tasted so bad I thought I will probably get sick. I didn't. But I haven't been able to get myself to use it again. When you first open the lid, the odor can knock you over, as somebody previously described, no exaggeration.

Doesn't mix easy
I think the product is good, but it's hard to get it mixed, it just wants to be clunky
