If you’re having shoulder surgery, buy this BEFORE surgery and thank yourself later. Seriously. This thing was an absolute lifesaver during those first miserable 3–4 days afterward.It gets cold really fast in the freezer and actually stays cold long enough to be useful — not one of those ice packs that turns lukewarm five minutes later and makes you irrationally angry at inanimate objects. 😂 The wrap-around shoulder design was also perfect because it stayed in place without me constantly adjusting it.I used this nonstop after surgery and honestly don’t have a single negative thing to say about it. Comfort, fit, coldness, durability… all great. This would absolutely be on my “must have before surgery” list.

Second total shoulder replacement and this was the gem did the job. After my husbands first shoulder replacement we used a pretty expensive device in which cold water is poured into then flows up to the area in need. This ice pack is so much easier to use, absolutely reduces inflammation and discomfort. My husband’s post op progress is way ahead of the last surgery. Excellent product.

I bought this for after my shoulder surgery. Let me just say.. BEST ICE PACK EVER!!!I love that it has velcro straps to hold it in place. They also worked on my bisep, and this fits around it perfectly.And it's not hard and stiff like gel packs. I bought one of those also, and ended up giving it to our local football team.If you're having shoulder replacement surgery, trust me, GET THIS

The good: Has gel, gets/stays coldThe "meh" the majority of the gel is at the biceps/triceps area. This is marketed for the shoulder. I need cold at the AC joint. The gel loses its cool quickly at the shoulder because there is less gel.The arm velcro is weird. If you wrap it all the way around, like shown in the picture, you have to twist the velcro to get it to stick. And it is super awkward to try to fasten the arm band one handed.Not bad for shoulder, not great. Mostly awesome for a biceps / triceps injury.

This ice pack is excellent and provides good coverage. I also use it for my back. Easily folds into the freezer.
