A must have!
This is an excellent product that everyone should have on hand. We live in a mountainous area which gets about 40-60” of rain annually. Not a ton of rain compared to other areas but enough for us to have used sandbags at times. These barriers replaced most of our sandbags and do a great job! They keep the water away from our home’s foundation, easy to put out, easy to store when they dry, and I don’t have to thump heavy sandbags anymore. A great product and I highly recommend.

Prepper MUST
Was absolutely amazed at the way these barriers worked. Great container for storage until needed. They DID THE JOB. Worth every penny... had 12" in 24 hrs and it kept the water at bay. NOTE: we used them as diverters as well as dams. Takes patience to get them completely dry, but other than that... it's a must have product if you have a problem with rainfall.

Works Great
Very easy to place and each strip absorbs a lot of water! I have been very happy with this flood barrier!

Not a tall as you think but worked
This will only keep a few inches of water out of doorways etc but for a basic easy to use item was worth the money and I can reuse.. does take a long time to dry out fyi

Buy These Before You Need Them - They Work!
We bought these after our last flood/basement episode (we've had a few) to try and curb off water coming in from a specific area. I'm so glad we did, because this time we were able to deploy them easily and they definitely helped keep more water from building up against the side of the house. A couple of thoughts: 1. Put them someplace cool and dry to store in the bucket but go ahead and open the bucket beforehand. It's a couple of pull tabs that could frustrate someone if you're stressed a trying to open them. 2. Make sure you have enough both length and height-wise. These WILL bend a bit if you want them to so you don't have to plan out in straight lines. 3. Have rocks or something heavy to weigh them down when you lay them out. Overall, definitely getting more for when we need them again!

Effective But Hard to Manage
These dams do work to hold back water. Two things that I really dislike about them is that they take several (and I do mean several) months to dry out because you're not supposed to leave them in the sun to dry (wish I had known this in advance). Therefore, they were laying all over my garage for months while I waited for them to dry out. The second thing I dislike is that it's impossible to get them back into their original container to store for re-use. They simply don't fold up as well once they've been wet and dried out, thereby creating a storage problem. I'm disappointed given the amount of money I spent on them.

You need these.
These things work, full stop. I've had them to protect from flooding in my office for six years now. I just keep them in place against the wall. After five years, they finally stopped working and I had to replace them. That's five years of not finding my office with half an inch of water on the floor. Don't wait until it's too late and Home Depot is out of these things. Just buy the bucket and keep it in storage.

Highly absorption
Ease of use. Just put it where it’s needed and it will do its job. Light weight. Will do its magic in absorbing the water once it’s wet. We use ours from November till February or so and it’s durable. We don’t have to worry about flood especially when the pour is heavy Because this flood kit does its job in absorbing water. Highly recommended!
