TIDEWE Rain Suit, Waterproof Breathable Lightweight 2 Pieces Rainwear

Bought this for my husband originally, then he ordered a smaller size for his nephew that goes fishing with them. Really super lightweight waterproof good quality. Roomy enough to provide great movement. You’re not sure about the size or the fit, go with a slightly larger size to provide extra room because this fabric is not stretchy.

Top runs a little small but the pants were great. Both did a great job with the rain protection and blocked the wind really well. Very convenient as far as being able to pack up into the carrying bag that was provided.

Played golf in some fairly substantial on and off rain. We all had different suits. This one was the only one that kept someone dry. Has hood, zips up high to keep water out, dried fast….stores easy.

After testing the item out while working in a Florida rainstorm, I have a few thoughts to share. As far as waterproofing goes, the material and seems handled very well in over an hour of thunderstorming. I was however very wet. This is due to the lack of breath ability, in a high humidity environment. It might work better in colder, and or more “dry” conditions, but in an 80 degree thunderstorm, it caused significant sweat. I was told ahead of time from other reviews that the sizing runs a little small, but from what I read I figured a large should do fine. Not really. At 6’2” the pants are a little short and somewhat tight. They have some baggy-ness, but not enough for good mobility. This caused them to constantly be pulled below my belt line and underneath the jacket, exposing my pants to the rain. The jacket fit a little more loosely, and was adequate in length for the arms, and decent length for the torso, however I would always recommend going a size up for rain gear. If I had, I believe the product could have had a little bit better ventilation, and would have kept me more covered. My mistake was going with a L instead of an XL. My comments for product improvement would be that perhaps an adjustable drawstring “belt” built into the waist could help with the pants sliding/being pulled down, and something like a zipper or hook & loop slit in the pant legs near the ankle hole to allow equipping without removing your footwear. Otherwise, this is an all around good product, just make sure you verify what size would work best for you.

If you’re going to Ireland, skip the umbrella and buy this suit. Umbrellas are useless in the Irish wind, but this kept me dry from head to toe. The pants are easy to pull on over jeans, and the jacket looks stylish enough for walking around Dublin or any other city. ​I wore it through misty mornings and full-on downpours, and the water just beaded right off. It dried quickly once we got back to the hotel, too. Very versatil and Totally recommended it is totally worth it, also for it coverage and that doesn't feel heavy.

I'm 5'9", 190-lb, broad shoulders. I wear XL shirts but but this XL rain gear fits way too small. 2XL fits much better with room for hoody or sweater if needed. I returned the XL & ordered 2XL. it fits much better. I would buy this rain gear again. However my recommendation to you is to go one size larger when ordering.

The fit was good. Also I've had a few rain suits before when I would wear those they ripped too easy. This pair held up during work hours for me, I'm sure I'll be coming back if I need more. Oh, this suit was very affordable would recommend to anyone.

The overall quality of this rain suit exceeded my expectations. It is not a light weight summer rain suit. I would call it a Fall/Spring weight. Quality of the manufacturing is superb and everything is seam sealed and the sleeves are one piece with no shoulder stitching in the usual places. I got an XL as usual and the pants waist size was tight/smaller than I expected (I wear a 36" pant). The legs were roomy and I could get them over pants no problem. I would say it fit more like a large size in the waist. The jacket fit big (I would say XXL) but since I got this for fall/winter/spring it gives me ample room for other layers. It has a big hood that would probably take a ski or climbing helmet. There are great storm cuffs to prevent any wet or cold from getting in. Since it fits big, it should give me lots of air circulation to prevent moisture build up. I would have like to see Velcro storm cuffs vs. elastic as the bottom of the sleeves are pretty big. Pit zips are also a welcome improvement too. It comes in a heavy duty storage sack that would double as a pretty good dry bag. With all that said, it is quality and probably worth more that twice it's listed price. I would recommend it but please be aware of the fit.

Does what it says on the tin, it's waterproof and breathable, perfect for cycling. It has the same aerodynamics as an inverted umbrella, but breathability and dryness, 10/10.
