Great book
My grand daughter has trouble with reading comprehension. She actually said it was fun. She could answer the question on her own with minimal guidance. This book gives instructions on how to help the student. Highly recommend.

Great resource
Great resource for reading content. However, I found the price to be a bit high.

Very worth money and time but read my review
If you have a child/teen struggling with comprehension get this. But this is where it is most helpful. Do it with them. Let them read one paragraph and you read the next. Stop and discuss terms, ideas, and anything they might not be able to understand. Read over the questions even before you read the text. Don't make every single assignment an assignment where they have to write out the answers....that way they won't dread it and you will cover more ground because you won't be putting it off. I have had 10 kids and I know a lot of these books we start and drop it later bc we get frustrated. Use this book as a springboard for conversation, and to strengthen their ability for verbal recall and expression as well as written expression at times. Write vocabulary words they don't know on a popsicle stick in a jar or an index card, and review these words often. Use oral narration as a means of understanding their comprehension. The selections are interesting and you will enjoy this time with them. If you just hand this book to someone who is already struggling with reading comprehension, it won't be that helpful ...we have tried that. If you get involved, it won't take much time, but you will start seeing results and that will make this text worth it.
