Letโs see about the warranty - update
I purchased this rod a few weeks ago for a surf fishing/kayaking trip in Baja. For the price I was pretty pleased with the rod w one exception. The rubber butt cap fell if the very first day within 30 minutes of fishing. I caught a bunch of fish and the rod performed pretty well and casted well. Iโm hoping theyโll send me a replacement cap or a new bottom piece. If they do Iโll modify my review. Update - the company got right back to me and mailed me a new rod. Great customer service for the win.

Baja Ready Rod!
Took the 9โ down to Cabo a couple weeks ago. Its nice and light. Launches lures a mile. It paired up great with a Saragosa 6000. It has a nice backbone and loads perfectly with a 2oz lure. Caught a mahi from the beach and it held its own. Love the grips. I bought the 10' 2-piece but haven't fished it yet. I like that the 12' comes in a 3-piece. For the price I think its a great rod. Nice work Fiblink!

Buy the blue one, not the teal one. The teal one rusts. The blue doesnt
Good travel rod for the price. I bought two of these, a blue one and a teal colored one. The blue one is great, the teal one rusted quickly at the reel attachment rings. Buy the blue one!

Snapped during first use
Broke at the first ferrule during the first use while casting a 2 1/2oz lure. Realistically, this rod is probably fine casting 1 to 1 1/2 oz lures, but is far too fragile to use for casting anything heavier. Begs the question of how well it would hold up to a fish on the end of the line.

Great rods but read below
This is the third Fiblink style rod we have purchased. The first one (heavy rod) was awesome and still great. The second we had ceramic eye problems and this one within minutes noticed the eye missing. Apparently they have cheapened the make of these eyes. UPDATE: Was able to contact someone and they are sending a replacement. Fiblink Rods are my all time favorite rods. The first one I purchased years ago 6' Heavy has been through ALLOT of snagging salmon in Alaska and still going strong. That rod has taken a beating and still going strong.

Great rod for the price. Looks like a $200 Rod imo.
My first one came broken but was replaced within 2 days. Great job on that. I love the rod and I hope that it holds up as well as my other Fiblink rods have held up. This 9โ 4 piece rod will be my travel rod when traveling light with the wife. Iโm pairing it with a Spheros 6000 for surf and pier fishing when Iโm at the coast. I tested it out in my neighborhood Lake and could sling a 2oz spoon 100yds so I canโt wait to use it in the salt.

Broken rod
We have only had this for a month and it broke. We barely used it... Snapped on half... I'm so disappointed as it was a gift for my husband for his birthday. I would definitely be careful when you buy this item!

Held up well
For the price I didn't expect much so was pleasantly surprised. I USED IT HARD in the surf and it held up well. Four piece so I could take it on the plane, not too heavy and casted well. A decent rod.

Great travel rod
Just returned from Mexico surf fishing for 2 weeks. This 9 ft. rod performed very well. It fit in my luggage and travelled well. I was casting a 3 oz. weight as hard as could it did not come apart or break. I'm very satisfied with this rod. great value for the money.
