It makes a great cup of coffee. No problems, we know how to use it. Its nice on the grill or electric stove as well, when power goes out, all you need is some heat under it( gas stoves are so great). Thats why I mention a grill or any heat you can get it over, seems to work well. Bright color for Mornings, which I hate, but I live with as I am not a AM person without my coffee. Washes nice and the color is still on the pot after many many uses.

Wish I had purchased this sooner!! This little guy is so perfect for 1-2 people. It took a second to get the hang of it, but it was a breeze once I actually read the directions. 🤪 *make sure you use an oven mitt or something when handling the silver pot part. It gets REALLY hot. *pro-tip: run the bottom of the pot under cold water when it’s done brewing. Keeps the coffee from continuing to brew and burning. Cleaning it is fairly easy. It’s just a bit tricky getting the part that holds the grinds out of the pot without spilling. I do it over the trash can. Just make sure it’s completely cool before you try to clean it. It makes an intense, strong espresso type coffee which is great for lattes (iced or hot). You don’t have to add milk or creamer. It’s delicious on its own too. I use Bustelo (brick) which is fairly inexpensive and delicious!! I see espresso martinis in my very near future. 😋

Does it make café? Yes, I would recommend the non painted version if you tend to forget about it on the stove and have the café sputter out sometime. I have found that once the café overflows and is heated on the outside of the pot close to the flame it is hard to remove. Some comes off but not all. I’ve tried soap and a scotch bright non-search pad but the stain is still there. Perhaps if I soak it, but I don’t have time for that everyday. It is easy to use and pretty nice otherwise.

What can I say? It's shiny, compact, and makes great, strong coffee. It's fun to use and I use it just about every day. Great price too. What more could you want?? (Although does only make a measly 6oz cup; so I'd suggest going for a bigger size if making for more than one person). 5/5 would Moka again.

Excellent quality… it lasts like 6 months. After that the rubber washer begins to fail and the coffee doesn’t percolate as needed to function properly. But my purchase was worth the 6 months use.

No timing device. Easily it gets burned when you are not there.

I've had a bialetti mocha pot for decades, but decided the 6 cup (8 1/2 ounce) size left me with too much coffee that wasn't fresh made. The bialetti 3 cup (4 1/2 ounces) was over $30 so I decided to try the Joy Jolt to see if that was big enough. it works as well as the bialetti, makes coffee in five minutes flat, has no problem with turning the electric stove on high, and does a good job even with small amounts of coffee (a half tablespoon). It's very easy to clean, though you have to turn the bottom of the pot upside down into your palm because the coffee tray fits too snugly to lift out. Which is probably why it works so well. My only concern is that the seal ring between the upper and lower sections doesn't appear to be replaceable, which could be a problem in ten or fifteen years.

Very good product, except it does not make 6 cups of espresso size serving coffee cups. I love it, no complaints yet.
