Clutter free desk starts here!
I had been on the fence about buying this desk mount stand for a while. It arrived, I set it up immediately and only regretted not having bought this sooner! It's an instant way to free up space on my desk, while being able to mount my camera and ring light in a way that's compatible with my ultrawide monitor and laptop setup. The desk clamp is low profile (unlike other jaw like clamps), so your desk can go up against a wall and it won't take up additional space. The Telescopic arm on the vertical mount let me adjust the height so that my ring light could be above my monitor, and I could then adjust the side arm to exactly mount my camera at the right height. Having the light and camera on separate axes means that looking into the camera I would get the ring light reflected off my glasses. The additional mount provided allows additional adjustments to how the devices can be mounted. While I haven't tested mounting a heavier camera, I do see using the stand for mounting a mic or camera or a variety of uses. I can also use the side clamp indepently on my camera tripod to create an off-body flash situation. For the price I paid, these are so many features I didn't know I needed until I had it. Amazon was also helpful to quickly ship me a replacement when I received a wrong product initially. If you have a home office and want to improve your setup and look good on camera, certainly go for this product!

Surprisingly good quality.
I was prepared to be disappointed, but when I received the product, I realised it was actually fit for purpose! Ball joints have winged set screws so they don't move under their own weight. Threaded tube collars aren't plastic that immediately disintegrates when tightened firmly. Reasonably rigid when extended and tightened. I can't emphasize enough how surprised I am at the quality for the price. Apparently, the bar has been set too low for inexpensive imported goods. Thanks!

Not bad, wish horizontal bar could be higher and was extendable
This isn't bad, it's a good setup for the price. Everything seems sturdy (although I've only had it a month), the desk clamp and all attachments are solid and don't feel cheap. I only wish the horizontal bar could be mounted higher (it won't attach to the higher 3rd segment of the vertical bar), and I wish it would be slightly extendable. Plus, although it says the horizontal bar supports 4.4 lbs, it makes me a little nervous when using my Panasonic GH5 with lens on it as the only thing supporting it is how hard you've tightened the clamp on the vertical bar (maybe that's normal with these kinds of desk overhead mounts? i'm not sure). Even when I tighten it fully, with my camera/lens/battery mounted on the end, the bar does lean down the tiniest bit. I did previously buy the Elgato Master Mount L bar clamp, which was nice but slightly more expensive and the horizontal bar has to bought separately, and I didn't want to spend that much on my setup so I returned it. Quality-wise, this feels similar to the Elgato bar. Overall though, i'm pretty happy with it and it's doing what I need.

Perfect for Small Creators and YouTube Setups!
I've been using the SmallRig Camera Desk Mount for a few weeks now, and it's been a game-changer for my YouTube channel. This stand is sturdy, flexible, and makes filming so much easier, especially for small spaces!Pros:Adjustable Height: The stand adjusts from 13" to 35.4", which is great for finding the perfect angle, whether Iโm doing a close-up or shooting a flat-lay.Magic Arm & Ball Head: The magic arm and ball head allow for so much flexibility. I can adjust my DSLR or ring light exactly where I need it without any hassle.Sturdy C-Clamp: The tabletop clamp is solid and saves space on my desk, holding up well even with heavier equipment.Cons:Assembly: It took a bit of time to set up, but once itโs in place, itโs rock-solid.If you're a small content creator or looking to upgrade your filming setup, this mount is worth every penny. It keeps my workspace organized, and I can switch between shots quickly. Highly recommend!

Great for mounting a video conferencing camera on my desk
Takes up way less space than even a small tripod on my desk and is much more sturdy for mounting a camera on. One thing to know is that the top doesn't have a release (I bought one to add) and the top also isn't completely solid so that the camera swivels a couple of degrees freely. I find myself nudging it back. Overall this was a great purchase and helps my desk workflow by giving me back space

Doesn't quite have the stability to handle my heavy camera.
I'm sure this works be great for someone that has a lighter camera but my Canon EOS is too heavy for it. That being said it is a well built and it is easy to mount. I do like that you have a couple of different options for setting up camera and the ability to add other arms or pieces later on which increases the functionality. My biggest complaint was that it just wasn't stable enough for me to confidently mount my reasonably heavier camera. It's a good size and I feel like it's a good value for the product you are getting, but I really needed something with a lot more stability to handle my camera without giving under the weight of my camera. If you have a lighter weight camera and you want something like this where you can do multiple different functions in your setup then this is probably going to serve you just fine. If you need something that has more stability because your camera is heavier I would say find something that's a little bit more heavy duty.

Only intended for a camera to be mounted on the top, not the arm.
Well made, but it is not designed to, and won't, hold anything heavier than a phone on the vertical arm. I could have read the product description more carefully.

Priced and sold as high quality but is not
Mine came clearly open box returned, when sold as new. Two 1/4 in ball heads were included. The lower section and main clamp seem good quality and reasonably sturdy. The top section is small diameter and flexes. The cross arm clamp is too large to clamp on top section and would be useless there because of wobble. My application weighs half the rated amount and the arm sags on lower section, and jiggles on center section making its use marginal above the 1st tube. The advertised range is false. The lower section and arm combo are ok. Anything above that is not sturdy enough for camera or projector use. Company contacted me offering a refund, which I accepted but they never delivered. Go elsewhere.

Priced right for the Australian market
For the price this is the best solution I could find in Australia. Itโs quite sturdy, it does clamp well, its telescopic function has been helpful in some situations. Works okay with my lighter DSLRโs with a 50mm lens but for larger lenses that are heavier, you need something different. For example a long heavy macro lens would be better served by a different solution. This was an edge case for me and didnโt really buy it for this purpose. Overall, good product and I highly recommend it for this price in Australia.
