Strong and effective
Clean, fine powder with strong kick. Tastes pretty bitter, but caps up well into 00 caps. Great natural substitute for energy drinks. You can hide a reasonably sized dose in a smoothie, but don't push it. It can ruin the taste of anything you put it in. I would advise care using it. Dumping a heaping teaspoon into a drink and gulping it down is not advised. Start with a measured dose. Properly used, it provides excellent energy without a massive crash like energy drinks. However, you can hurt yourself with it, ending up with a racing heart and sweaty palms. At 73, my body tolerates it well with moderate use.

Love this product
I ordered several products from this company. Last one was Guarana powder. Guarana is a natural energizer, cognitive stimulant, flavoring for beverages, and as a component in natural weight loss products. Guarana paste is used as a stimulant at a dose of 1 g, usually dissolved in water or juice. The caffeine content is between 3.6% and 5.8%. It helps me to start my day, do cardio or intensive workout with high level of energy. Love this prodacts, love this company and thank you for pure ,high quality products. Highly recommend this guarana powder for everyone!

Great hit of focus and energy
This gives me a heightened lift of focus, clarity, and energy. It definitely helps also lift the brain fog, which not many things are successful at doing that. I was hesitant to trying this because I've tried Guarana pills and it's always a hit or miss. The Guarana pills don't seem as strong and they make me crash for some reason. This Guarana powder doesn't make me crash. It gives me amazing energy, joyful feeling, and a clear minded focus whenever I take it. I started with the lowest dose on the package which is 1/4 teaspoon and that seems to do the trick. I don't find I've needed more. So if you're trying this for the first time, I would recommend that you start really low. Don't worry if it doesn't look like a lot on your teaspoon. This is one of those powders where a little goes a long way. It's always better to start small and work your way up with any supplement to reduce the chances of shocking side effects, then blaming the company for selling it because you had an isolated bad experience. Not everyone has the same experiences when taking something. If you're super hyper sensitive to caffeine, then be careful taking this. I noticed some slammed this powder with a bad review because it resulted with them in the hospital or some other narly side effect. They've said this package should have a warning. I would assume that if anyone is ordering any alternative herbal supplement powders like Guarana, that they are already aware of why they're ordering it and what the benefits and side effects are. The internet has an excellent search engine for you to do a bit of research before diving into something like this. This Guarana works for me and I only take a little bit, which goes a long way. I'm aware of the benefits and potential side effects of this and was before ordering. I've experienced zero side effects with this, but that's also because I started slow and I knew how to use this. If you've found you've taken too much, then drink some chamomile tea or take some Theanine powder or capsules, which softens and reduces the caffeinated energy edge by calming you down.

50% or 22% caffeine.what is it really?
the advertising is confusing. the product i ordered was advertises as guarana powder with standardized to 50% caffeine which also shows on the product label on the item description. what i received was a product where instead the label indicated Guarana powder standardized to 22% caffeine. accordingly the amounts to be taken are double and the yield of the product would be half as what is advertised. The product i a genuine product and works well however the labeling and advertising is confusing and maybe misleading. i should receive the product i ordered not something different. what if the label on my package indicates 22% caffeine but the product contains 50%? that could lead someone to take a lot more than they intended and could even be dangerous. so overall a good product but the company needs to get their act together. By the way i have been taking Guarana products for 25+ years and i have never come across a product standardized to 50% Caffeine even in Brazil, which leads me to conclude its misleading advertising. In that case the company will only hurt their own sales because people will not take enough of the product and think that it is not very good because they will take only half of what they are actually thinking they are ingesting.......

Effectiveness and taste
This stuff works pretty well and is a very cost effective and efficient way of getting the caffeine fix. I combined a teaspoon of guarana, a teaspoon of their(bulk supplements) ginseng powder, a pinch of salt, 2 tablespoons of stevia, and flavoring concentrate for a quite potent and effective alternative to coffee and energy drinks. It really helps for alertness, feeling awake, focus or concentration, and surprisingly mood. Any negatives were very minimal and were only about taste and perhaps the immediacy of the energy buzz. The taste is straight up awful and bitter, however that is only when you treat this like a monster or Red Bull. Consider this as a powdered tea and dilute and counteract the bitterness with water, coldness, a bit of salt, flavoring, and just the right amount of stevia(as too much stevia may add to the bitterness). Also, this did not affect my ability to sleep or stay asleep at all. 5/5 would recommend, will buy again, and will check out their other products.

Smells like chemicals and tastes like it too, I wouldn't buy it if I were you...
Don't buy this. Seriously. When I first opened the package I honestly didn't know what to expect so the bitter, chemical smell was something I disregarded even though it seemed odd. I tried it once, it wasn't the best tasting, but it wasn't the worst either. I felt no effect from the product whatsoever. The nagging feeling I had that something was off about the product grew and I did a little more research, finding that a lot of the time you have no idea what you are ordering when it comes to cheap supplements like this, for all you know it could be drywall dust. I decided to go to my local health food store and pick up guarana powder they sell for cooking and stuff. The difference was insane. There was no bitter, chemical smell, and it was a dark rich brown unlike the stuff i ordered which was really light and dusty. It also tasted a heck of a lot better. I ended up throwing the bulksupplements 'guarana powder' away. So in all I'd say you are better off getting supplements from a reputable source, or just going and getting this from your natural foods store.

Strong, effective and reliable consistent effects
This gives a bit more useful burst of energy than straight up anhydrous caffeine. I've used both a lot and while I will say it's a very similar effect, the other alkaloid profiles in the Guarana give you a bit of a sharper buzz and the energy rolls across you slightly smoother. Either way, it's an intense stimulant but I can take Guarana and if I take 2 minutes or 20 to get up and busy, it's not nearly the sense of urgency pure caffeine or even ordinary coffee can induce. There's a clarity without the acute intensity anhydrous caffeine always brings with it's use.

Does the trick. Be cautious about the dose. 1/4 teaspoon = 200 mg caffeine
**Edit 2025-03-13** I find the powder doesn't dissolve very well in cold water, but if you make a "tea" with boiling water and then allow it to cool (make it ahead of time and keep it in the fridge) it stays in liquid form nicely. As I mention in the title, this stuff is pretty potent. Be cautious. I saw another reviewer say they added a full teaspoon (!) - that's 4 times the serving size and a LOT of caffeine (800mg). Make sure you start with a serving size (1/4 tsp) and see how it affects you before going wild. 200 mg of caffeine is equivalent to about 2 cups of coffee, or 2.5 cans of Red Bull. I definitely got a nice kick from this. I didn't notice any flavor, but I mixed it into a drink that already had some strong flavors. I did notice that it took a little work to get it to dissolve. I'm going to experiment with adding this to various drinks (gatorade, chai tea, plain water) as an alternative to coffee and see how things go.

Efficient
This is an extremely good value for money way to get your caffeine in, but I recommend looking at how much caffeine is in it, doing your calculations on how much you want to take, and then weighing it out. You probably need a lot less than you think.
