Quality, Picture, Integration, and Customer Service are unmatched.
In 2008 I purchased a system and they worked great. When I moved to a different house I purchased another system to replace an outdated system that was on my new house.I purchased the Reolink 16ch 12mp PoE Camera system with the 4TB HDD in May of 2024. Installed all 8 cameras that came with the system and ordered 2 more cameras 3 days later due to wanted more coverage in areas I did not think about. The system work great. Easy to setup, great picture, very user-friendly. The extra cameras joined in just like the ones purchased in the system. In July 2026 I had a power surge and that made the NVR (hard drive) not to power on. I contacted Reolink and asked for troubleshooting procedures. After trying different things Reolink said since they were on warranty and I purchased them on Amazon through Reolink directly they would give me a refurbished unit. I shipped them the old unit and within 5 business days I had another NVR to connect. After setting it up and connecting it, I found out the power surge must of damaged 4 of the cameras that came with the original system. After contacting them using the same code they issued 4 cameras. The 4 cameras that were damaged were no longer in production and they could not give me refurbished cameras. So they shipped me 4 brand new updated cameras. I can say enough good things from the brand. Quality, Use, Customer Service all have been top notch. Very pleased with purchase. Will be buy more cameras for this system in time. The entire time I was waiting on the items to ship to me I had someone contacting each day to check on the progress.

Crystal-Clear 12MP Video and Reliable All-Around Home Security System!
Excellent Coverage and Crystal-Clear Quality!I couldn’t be happier with this REOLINK system! The 12MP resolution delivers incredibly sharp and detailed video even at night. The PoE setup made installation simple and clean, with just one cable per camera for both power and data. The eight cameras provide full coverage of my property, and the app makes it easy to view live feeds or playback recordings right from my phone.Motion detection is accurate and not overly sensitive, and I appreciate how customizable the alerts are. The system has been running smoothly without any lag or connection issues. For the quality, ease of use, and peace of mind it offers, this setup is worth every penny.Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable and professional-grade home security solution!

Huge upgrade over Blink camera system
We have been using these for several months now, and we love them. This is a major upgrade from our Blink system. Blink cameras have a long delay (3-15 seconds or more) from when motion is detected to when it records an “event.” This meant that the recording often missed the actual “event,” rendering the recording useless. The Reolink cameras record continuously, record high quality video, and have great zoom features. It’s fairly accurate at capturing and labeling events (e.g, identifying humans vs animals vs other things like vehicles). The provided cables were not long enough and numerous enough for our home, but we were able to affordable purchase extra cable from the hardware store. Since these are wired cameras, it does require installation that included crawling through the attic, drilling holes for cable, etc. this has been well worth the effort, though. Once the cables have been run through the house, the setup was fairly easy. These have been a great value for the cost. So much so that we recently upgraded our doorbell to Reolink as well.

Under a year 😔
I really wanted to love this system because the camera quality is honestly impressive. The 12MP resolution, night vision, and overall feature set are excellent for the price, and setup was fairly straightforward. The person/vehicle detection also worked better than expected.Unfortunately, I’m extremely disappointed that the hard drive failed in less than a year of normal residential use. For a security system that is supposed to provide reliable 24/7 recording, the storage failing this quickly seriously hurts my confidence in the product. The cameras themselves seem solid, but the reliability of the included drive is concerning. When you invest this much money into a security system, you expect the core recording component to last much longer than a few months.I’m hoping Reolink stands behind their warranty and resolves the issue, because otherwise this would have been an easy 5-star system.

Nice system for the price.
This is the third camera system I've installed in my home in the last few months. The first one was a Lorex system that cost around $1200. I returned it because I could not get it to quit giving false motion alerts. Then I bought an 8 camera Reolink system. That system was a big improvement and I was happy with it. Then, browsing Amazon, I noticed they had this 12MP eight camera system for a few hundred more dollars. I was still within the return window on the first Reolink system so I returned it and purchased this system. It has been great so far. Very good image quality. The app is simple and easy to use. Setup was easy. I haven't had any interactions with tech support so I can't comment on that. Upgrading to this system also gave me lights on the cameras, audible alarms on each camera, and the ability to talk and listen over the cameras. Those are all nice features and work well.A few things I'd change... 1) The cameras don't lock on to the mounting plate. They just spin on and there's a slight click. If a dirt bag wanted to, they could just unscrew the camera and pull it off. That was one thing the Lorex did better, it had little set screws that locked the cameras to the plate so removing them would require a tool and at least a few minutes of time.2) I think like most of these "cheaper" systems, the smart detection is kind of a gimmic. I've been trying for a month to get the settings where it only tells me if there is a person or a vehicle in the camera's view. It still occasionally alerts me to a wasp, a cat, or nothing that I can discern. It is an improvement over the Lorex technology, though. I'm hopeful one day I'll get the settings just right.3) Not enough NVR storage capacity. I like to keep my system recording 24/7. I could get about 5 days of recordings before it started overwriting older stuff. That wasn't enough for me so I added a 6TB Seagate drive (not cheap!) in addition to the one that comes with the system. I think it can keep about 12 days of recordings stored now. If I ever get to a place where I 100% trust the accuracy of its motion triggers, I may switch it to record motion only. That would greatly increase the amount of days I could keep on the storage.Overall, I like this system and for the cost I consider it a good deal. I looked at a couple of U.S. company's commercial systems when I was shopping and they were $2500-$4k for the same amount of cameras and comparable NVRs. The way I look at it, I saved a ton of money and all it cost me was the weaker camera mounting system (which hopefully will never be a problem) and the occasional false motion alert. Thanks for reading! Hope that helps someone in their search.

Nice security system.
Bought this system during Prime Days to replace an older Reolink system which did not have notification "push" capabilities. The 12MP cameras have very sharp/clear images, much better than what I had prior. Installation/Setup was a breeze, especially since I just reused the network cables I already had in place. Overall I'm very pleased with the system. Here's my observations after several days of use, and tinkering with settings:- After reading other reviews I was a little concerned about the dome cameras stability with regards to staying attached to the base. One video showed a slight tug on the network cable causing the camera to fall from the base. However, if you fully engage (twist) the camera to the base you can feel a slight resistance when it locks into place. I was not able to disengage the camera by pulling on the cable.- When setting Motion Detection Sensitivity the Motion Mark option from the NVR it does not copy to other cameras when selecting "Apply to Other Cameras". It must be done individually.- When setting any Motion Detection options from the PC app there is not an option to copy to other cameras. Only Surveillance settings can be copied.- Person detection appears to be working very well. Vehicle detection on the other hand could use some work. I'm still tinkering with settings, but it seems to be hit-n-miss on getting an alert. (More hit than miss though.) My cameras have slightly overlapping target areas. In one instance three different cameras had a view of my vehicle at various points, but only one triggered an event. At other times I might get a trigger from all three cameras.- I have Record settings configured to only record vehicle/person events. However, when I check out the event history I'm seeing all kinds of movement. Tree limbs moving, shadow movement on the ground, birds, animals, and vehicles/persons. At least I'm only getting push alerts for vehicles/persons, and that's what I really want.- It would be "really" nice if Reolink would add an option to the apps for suppressing push alerts for 1-6 hours. This way I could put alerts to sleep while we have constant expected activity for a relativity short period of time, and not have to worry about turning it back on.

Good security system with easy setup for remote monitoring on mobile devlices
This unit performs very well. The cameras provide video and also serve as motion detection lights. The cameras are very wide angle which is helpful in some locations. I may add an additional narrow field-of-view camera to provide a more telescopic vision in one direction as well a doorbell camera. I may add an external POE unit to provide power to the cameras and reduce any chance of higher temperatures inside the NVR.It was easy to install since there were already Cat5e cables to every location for the 8 cameras included.Setup of the NVR was less difficult that expected. The menus were logical unlike some other brands. It is easy to connect into most home routers, especially using Cat5e or Cat6.I upgraded to an industrial high-security router, which required establishing a DMZ tunnel and adding the NVR's MAC address to the table of allowed devices. Most users can ignore that task, but it is not especially hard to do if you have installed your industrial router and set up the security.Setting up remote access on my mobile phone was much less complex than Qsee.I had been using a Qsee POE NVR system for about a decade. Qsee NVRs ran hot. I replaced the hard disks in the Qsee NVRs with larger data center grade disks as original disks failed.I replaced Qsee NVRs as they failed, probably due to heat generated by the built-in POE power supply.

Very easy setup, plug and play.
Very fast shipping. Amazon great as usual. The product: As advertised. Packaging is excellent. The product is very easy to setup, very much plug and play. The app works excellent, main reason I chose Reolink over Lorex. Overall, very happy with this purchase. However it would be nice if the mounting boxes were included to house the wiring.

Highly recommend
I’m really happy with my Reolink 12MP camera. The build quality is awesome—feels super solid and well-made. The app works smoothly, and the color night vision looks great, way better than I expected. I’ve had zero problems so far. Definitely worth the buy if you want a reliable and high-quality security camera.

Good
Good product. Can’t wait for ReoLink to update their iOS user experience. The product itself is good and easy to setup.

Great Cameras
Getting sensitivities and notifications right takes some time and amending (based on property/area being covered) but being over sensitive is better than not being sensitive enough. This is our 3rd set of cameras over the last 15yrs (and 2 homes) and this is the best product we've had thus far.
