Worked as expected. Looks and feels durable. Had to cut twice, but that was user error since it’s my first time. Will be using this many many times in the future.

There’s a technique to this but it works great! You really do need to keep the handle at a 45 degree angle for it to work properly. It makes a pretty pie!

It works but doesn’t cut evenly. I have to go back and cut or I have To pull a the pasty or dough apart.

Works very well and makes a beautiful lattice. There's a bit of a learning curve, but you'll get it in no time and those pies will be beautiful. Or Wellington.

Purchased to make the pastry of my Salmon Wellington look more elegant....and it did!

This did not cut a lattice for me. Maybe if I could stretch my pastry out it would have created the gaps I expected. I'll try it again, but I wouldn't recommend this product.

Not impressed at all, and I had high expectations, based on other reviews. Although this is a sturdy and weighted product (as opposed to same, in plastic) it would NOT cut slits through the dough uniformly. The result, is when I slightly pulled the dough, width-wise to get a pretty perforated look - only a fourth of the slits opened, at best, leaving a very uneven and unattractive lattice appearance for my dough. I used phyllo pastry sheets rolled out, and this method has worked for other bakers, but not for me although they weren't using this particular metal tool. I'm at a loss for words, as to why it didn't work, I had high hopes - and I'm an experienced baker. I had to return the product, as I couldn't possibly see myself re-using it, given the poor results I had.
