This is my initial impressions regarding this remote. First I have a Smart LG that doesn't use the "Magic Remote" but that crappy, small button one from the factory. I hated that thing. Instantly went looking for a replacement first day of owning the TV. So I started searching and found out this model would work. Then I started noticing the price differences. Some were $19 & up for the same exact thing. Decided to take the gamble even with this one despite some odd reviews. Anyways. I don't know if these reviews were for an older version but I can say this thing is 100% Everything works. The main functions are there. No problem with signals to TV. The battery cover is very secure & I see no problem with it. I will say what you see is what you get. The remote. No box. No instructions. No batteries. Nothing. If you need those things in life, well, I dunno :) These are the people complaining it has no voice or pointer when it clearly states that. Anyways. So far I'm clearly happy. Should it not last I will come back & add-on.

One of our dish remotes failed and we replaced it with this remote. It looks and works identical to our previous remote. Great value and order an extra one as we have seen they do fail.

Not all the buttons work. Mainly the 4 arrow controls and the wheel.. . Will not go back. Take a left. However you want to describe it. But all 3 freebies have the EXACT SAME ISSUE

Works great for a quick replacement. The center bottom that rolls, I can’t get to work but other than that it gets the job done!

So I bought a LG TV for the bedroom. Great TV but the remote kinda sucks. It's laid out like a scientific calculator. In the dark, it's impossible to figure out. So I bought this remote. And I LOVE it. If you have a LG TV with the blocky calculator remote this is a must have.

Price not bad. Fairly easy to set up/connect to tv. Down side is this NEW remote does not work the best. Channel up/down, Volume up/down, Right-Left & Up-Down, spinner round part in the middle of remote does NOT work well. All these buttons need pushed pretty hard which in my opinion is probably NOT good for the remote. My old remote wore out and now this need one I need to push down hard on some of the buttons.

This worked right out of the package.No linking it to television. Just add batteries and it works instantly. Would recommend it 100 percent.

This is one of the few sellers on Amazon that are telling you the truth about it not having cursor or voice abilities. If you have a MR22 remote and you hate the blacked out volume and channel buttons plus the awkward placement of the guide button then this is the remote for you. Clear markings for VOL and CHAN plus the perfect GUIDE button next to the arrow and ok buttons make this a clear winner for replacing my current LG C2 OLED tv remote. I really don't miss the wand cursor and I never really used the voice command. NO box or instructions but you really don't need them. You will have to provide your own batteries. Just pop in batteries and go. Super great price.

Works to start tv and get cable feed. Does not change channels on cable box. Volume control works. Must use both LG remote and cable box remote.
