The pillow is exactly as described. It's cool to the touch. It showed up with a few drops of water & dried out very quickly .... just as the description notes. It's very comfortable like a memory foam pillow but seems a little softer to me. Though not so soft my head/neck didn't feel supported. I am 5"3", 124lbs & work in the construction industry. Sleep is extremely important to me because I don't get much of it in my line of work. Quality sleep is more important than just closing my eyes & I've had the same pillow for a couple years. I managed to smash it pretty flat but it really looks like it needed a good washing. After ruining my last washing machine washed pillow I was hesitant but it needed to be done, so I took a leap. It was ruined & I knew it as soon as I took it out of the washing machine. I hoped the dryer would fluff it up evenly & I'd just have to sleep on a puffy pillow for a week or 2 until it smashed down but it dried lumpy just like it came out of the washing machine. It was no good. I ordered this pillow based on the thickness I thought I'd prefer & this pillow has so far been about perfect. I might wish it a bit thinner but that might be too thin & I really needed a perfect pillow. This nailed the job. Because of the material, I never have to wash it & now that I've found one I like, I'll continue buying from this brand. Even my husband who seemed to love his Memory Foam pillow that came as a gift with our Tempurpedic Cloud Supreme bed thinks he too will be switching to a thinner pillow. He's 6'3", 210 & feels his current, standard size pillow is too lofty. I was in a car accident 4 years ago & prior to that slept soundly on a latex pillow that breathed very well & had hols in it like this to keep the user cool. I loved that pillow but after the accident couldn't sleep on it anymore & have been on the hunt for a thinner pillow with similar support. I finally found my new perfect pillow. I bought this pillow in Super Slim max cool standard size. It is slightly smaller all around than my previous pillow but my previous pillow was too but for me anyway so why would I expect the new, better one to be the same size & better any better? A smaller pillow overall, for me, was the ticket. The Super Slim may be my next pillow but so far, this one has helped me get a better sleep & my neck doesn't hurt anymore. I use a pillow cover then put my pillow case on but this pillow comes with a cover. Even still, I've left it on & use my own over that so my laundry consists of 3 pillow cases off my single pillow. I feel like it keeps the pillow clean though I shower daily. I think it just makes me feel better. The seller is spot on about everything in the description. In my opinion, I didn't feel there was a "chemical" smell with the new pillow. I think what people smell is "new". It's like when you buy a new hoodie. It has that new clothing smell & pillows are no different. We just aren't typically used to the scent of new memory foam. I really didn't smell anything I couldn't sleep on the same night I received the pillow. I left it uncovered for the day to dry out. Not that was soaked. Just a few drops on the case as mentioned in the description, & it was completely dry by the time I got home late afternoon. I put the original case it came with back on, my own pillow cover & my pillow case. It's a perfect-for-me pillow. I'd definitely order another pillow from this seller. They were transparent & the product arrived quickly & exactly as described.

I get migraines and often wake up with one during the night or wake up in the morning with one. I started trying all different kinds of pillows to see if a new one would help. Finally I saw this one that said it would be cool and wouldn't change shape all night. I don't usually like most memory foam but this one wasn't the type that was all chopped up in pieces. It was one solid piece and 'infused' with cooling gel so I figured I'd give it a try. I normally get very hot during the night. To my surprise, this pillow was actually very cool when I first lay down on it. If I have the AC on, this pillow starts out actually quite cold! It doesn't stay cold all night because it does absorb my body heat, but if it starts out in and air conditioned room, it is a cold pillow. And I can sleep for hours without my ear being all squashed when I wake up. I love this pillow. It's the first time I've loved a pillow so much in years. It surprised me because normally I sleep propped up and this is a flat pillow. But I sleep flat and wake up with no migraines. I will stick with this pillow until it wears out and hopefully they will keep making it.

Very happy with this, almost a 5 star product. After one week I can say I’m happy with the comfort, thickness, and initial cooling effect of one side that has the gel. The two things that are a little undesirable , 1) The cooling effect only lasts about 5-10m then warms up like all memory foam does, and 2) There is still a typical chemical memory foam smell—but only when my nose is pressed directly into the pillow. I don’t think either issue is pillow specific, it’s a sacrifice of using memory foam instead of latex or some other material. But I’ll live with it because I’m actually quite comfortable and my neck/back don’t hurt in the morning like they used to. This is my first thin pillow and I like it.

I absolutely love this pillow. I am 25 and have suffered with back pain between my lower shoulder blades at my spine for the last 3 years. The pain had gotten so bad that I could not sit for longer than 30 minutes without having spasms. I got a 3 inch memory foam mattress and while it helped relieve some symptoms like my legs and arms falling asleep and lower back aching, the sharp pain in the middle of my back persisted. I had the best of the claimed best thick memory foam pillow. On a whim I decided to sleep without the pillow when one day I laid down and immediately felt the shooting pain. So I have been sleeping without a pillow for 2 weeks and the back pain was GONE, finally!!! But it feels weird sleeping without a pillow, where does you arm go? It was hard for me to fall asleep without a pillow, but I continued to not use one because atleast my back didnt hurt anymore. So I bought the thinnest memory foam pillow I could find, which was this pillow. Omg is it amazing. I fell asleep INSTANTLY with it, I slept so hard and felt so refreshed. And finally no more back pain. 25 years of thinking im only 25 how can I be in this much pain, all cured by this pillow. The packaging and directions are wonderful. The pillow case is awesome (except for tag placement but easy to remove). The pillow is actually SUPER cold and stays pretty cold. There is a cold side and non cold side. I sleep on the non cold side and it still stays fairly cool, but the underside is very cold which is nice to put your arm under when feeling hot. If you have learned no pillow cured your pain, then get this pillow so you can fall asleep fast again. And if you have random middle of the back pain thats sharp and feels like it needs to crack 24/7 might I suggest a 3 inch memory foam for your mattress and this pillow.

This pillow doesn't work for me. I purchased the 1.75" Standard size. It is soft and comfortable under my head, but not so much under my neck. If the sides were tapered as shown in the picture in the description, I think this pillow would have been perfect. But the sides are only slightly curved, so the foam under my neck is too thick and feels like it is pressing into my neck. I sleep mostly on my back and have always preferred thin pillows. I've spent the last few years sleeping flat on my mattress without a pillow, with a folded washcloth under the curve in my neck for support, because I haven't been able to find a pillow that is thin enough. I saw this one mentioned in an article recently and was excited to try it. I would like my head to be slightly elevated when I sleep because I've been told that is better for blood circulation. You can see in my photos that the pillow is actually a little over 1.75". It is soft, so my head sinks down a little in it, but the edges are too high for my neck.

This is a great pillow. Just the right size. One side is listed as a cool side. I cannot tell you that side is really really cooler than the other side, but I can tell you I am 100% satisfied with this pillow. Very comfortable.

I usually buy the cheapest thinnest ikea pillows out there. my friend bought me a really nice pillow and my husband was envious so I bought him this one. We spend so much time using pillows I don’t know why I thought I needed to buy the cheapest one possible once every decade. Anyway, he likes it. When he went out of town I used it and…. Dang. I’m getting one for me. I was worried because I wanted to be able to bunch it up and make it the perfect height but the thing is this pillow is enough on its own. It’s the right height. If I need bunching then I’ll bunch my quilt. I have usually been the kind of person that buys the absolute thinnest pillow possible but now I’m coming around to whatever this is. 3.75”? Noted. I’ve bought weirdly shaped pillows and never liked them, always threw them away, and felt like spending money on a good pillow would be the same, I’m not sure why i felt that way. I’m just now fully understanding that pillows last years and years and we spend 1/3 of our lives using them so they should be GOOD. anyway, if you like flat pillows, this is good. It convinced me that other pillows were too flat, which is saying something.

This was purchased for my husband who sleeps on his stomach and finds it extremely hard to find a pillow to fit his sleeping position. He has tried many different pillows but states this is the best ever. It’s that good he even takes it on holiday in the UK. He states it’s so soft to lay on but maintains its shape and is very supportive to his neck. He can recommend this pillow particularly if you sleep on your stomach.

I have bought 2. Love the cool pillow the second pillow i ordered doesnt have the cooling side. Like the first pillow so much ill let the mistake on the second slide. Wish i had 2 colling pillows though.
