Acuity Hall Effect Throttle Position Sensor for Acura RSX-S, Honda Civic Si

I was having some issues with the tps sensor from Ktuned contacted them and they said all it needed was to be adjusted ( or my harness was the wrong one or to switch the outer wires on the TPS pigtail) all that and it still didn't work ---- i may have adjusted this thing over 5 times and even with Kpro -- being expensive i figured it was something else wrong at first I went through every possible problem before hand ... i figured the problem was the tps but i don't like hassle so i ordered this one, saw some reviews and said why not...installed and adjusted no problem!!!!!! my god was i correct and to any one buying this product don't even doubt it click buy right now!! .. The problem I was having with the TPS from Ktuned ( hall effect the latest one black with long harness) was never able to adjust to .45-.50 closed throttle valve - my range closed would be .32-.89 which makes no sense - and when i calibrated the sensor with Kpro i got 1.8 , 1.6, 1 as a closed rating and 86,83 WOT --- I did my research and I'm glad i got this bc i don't want to say other wise from the Ktuned product but if i could have just been told off rip the sensor may be faulty instead of chasing all the possibilities i may have saved money, and time! Live and Learn i guess!

Just k swapped my ES1 Civic and i had a tps sensor that I took off a old rsx type s but was giving me all sorts of wonky readings. Car was stuck in limp mode couldnt go past 2k rpm but no codes and tps with engine running stayed at 0%, but did a decent sweep when I had just KOEO. Didnt make sense. Back probed the wiring and everything shouldve worked, even tried repinning my rywire harness to no avail. I thought maybe its this 70mm TB wasnt keyed in properly to the tps but even with moving the tps sensor by hand - nothing worked. I thought let me just try this acuity sensor, it has such rave reviews. Sure enough works like a charm. Total lifesaver. Im so happy. Calibrated with kpro and my baby is finally running, knock on wood! Looks good quality too and love the rubber seal.

I purchased this TPS sensor after having a problem with a cheaper aftermarket sensor. After some research and reading ALL positive reviews from various sites, I purchased this item and it did not disappoint. The fit was perfect and the rubber gasket instead of cheap paper is a nice touch. Excellent TPS sensor! It was easy to install and calibrate. Acuity is the best!

Great Product. Quickly shipped. Was having stutter/hesitation due to a failing TPS sensor. Checking out the readings with K pro Hondata software and determined that the TPS was going. Read the reviews on amazon for this product and gave it a shot. Fixed the problem immediately. My car now runs smoother and accelerates quicker then before. Would recommend to anyone with K series TPS issues.

Highest quality tps you can get, plug and play, better than dinosaur wiper resistor type like the oem and even the k tuned versions have issues, hall effect tps is a no brainer for k series, rock steady idle now, smoother driveability, just get it skip the k tuned tps they fail more often than even the stock ones.

Contemplated rebuilding my K20a3 engine in the old Civic EP3 due to lower power issues. Acuity changed all that by giving my higher mile engine real life again, like a new rebuild. Calibration was initially set to 45-4.50 resulting in so much more take off response, but a constant off the throttle pausing issue caused me to set it around 47-48 for the sweet spot. Buy this TPS and enjoy, but don’t just take my word it look at all the other positive reviews as well. The Honda stock TPS is $800 for its only available as a whole throttle kit.
