Porelon Black Carbon Paper, 8.5 x 11 Inches, 100 Sheets (11465)

I use these carbon sheets all the time to trace out patterns to carve or cut in wood. I find using a blunt pencil works best if you're looking for a nice dark line. The sheets have plenty of carbon on them that I'm able to use many times over but they don't leave smudges if you rub on them. I use these primarily on wood, so I sand off the lines when I'm finished. Works for my application. Your mileage may vary.

I use this product in my art group as a easy way for the artists to transfer a drawing onto thier canvas panels (9x12)...prior to painting. I also use it at home in my manual Typewritter...it loads easily and the impression is consistent and only slightly lighter than the typewritten page. This stuff is super strong and I get multiple uses out of the same sheet. Great old school tool for art and typing.

I got this to work on crafts with and even though the pages are thin and it says that it's for the typewriter so far it Works great on canvas & even ceramic mugs. I wanted to make a 'sharpie mug' from Pinterest so I printed off a design (a cute owl and the words Hoot, Hoot) then taped the carbon paper and design against the mug so that I would trace the owl onto the mug - it worked great! I'm going to try it out on wood next but I don't think I'll have any issues with that material either.

I bought this so I would not have to copy all paperwork on a machine. The product works as carbon paper should. Sheets are thick and of good quality. I appreciate the cardboard packaging because it prevents individual sheets from bending and wearing off. Of course this is under normal use... The one thing I do not like about the product is the color of the transfer. The carbon transfers in a color similar to that of a pencil. I have never before seen carbon paper of this color.

This was great carbon paper! It is nice and thick. I use carbon paper to transfer images onto pieces of wood before I paint. I used this with my students to make Mother's Day gifts and the kids loved it! It doesn't erase from the wood but works great!

Carbon paper is something with so many uses, but hardly anyone keeps it on hand these days! I use these sheets for so many different art and household projects, makes it so simple to copy a design where you need it to go. These sheets give a crisp outline and don't leave a haze of carbon residue on the rest of the design. Much less prone to smearing too. On the photo below, I used a regular ball-point pen to outline an Andy Warhol design on a box for a school project. The carbon paper transferred the pattern perfectly and it's ready for painting!

I purchased this for two students with whom I work in a center for high school students with learning disabilities. One of them needs to develop fine motor skills to a greater degree and the project that I devised helps her to do that as well as learn practical math skills, believe it or not. Her task was to trace a design onto a piece of Balsa wood which we wood cut out with a coping saw. She could use a ruler, but that is one of the skills she is learning also. This carbon paper turned out an incredibly clear and sharp image on the Balsa wood despite the wood's uneven surface. Cutting the wood accurately requires strong and vivid lines, and this carbon paper gave us exactly that. I have yet to try it on paper, but if it does this exceptionally well on wood, how much more so on paper?! This was a wonderful choice and a great purchase. I recommend the product wholeheartedly.

Great product - practically unheard of today. For those, like myself, that Don't have a printer - great backup. I do not have a computer either and Must use a typewriter. I Am a disabled senior citizen that requires a copy Of important letters typed. I have used this product on numerous Occasions since purchase aND find it produces a good copy. Thank you Amazon.

Great quality Carbon Paper. Using this to transfer an image onto a hobby box, which I will be wood burning after. Worked beautifully.

Works well. I bought it for office use and it works well. Much cheaper than my local office supply store
