VERY nice compact amplifier for a passive subwoofer, with plenty of adjustment options. The standout feature is the variable phase control, which helps tremendously when blending the subwoofer with main speakers. It has more than enough power for desktop subwoofers.I bought two of these to handle the low end (10" woofers) in my 86 dB-sensitive floorstanders. Despite their small size, they deliver a surprising amount of high-quality bass in my 16 × 20 living room. They are absolutely sufficient for music listening, and possibly even for movies—unless you’re looking for an intense, floor- and wall-shaking experience. They don’t get hot at all, even when cranked up to the max.
