Amazon Basics 9-Inch Thermal Laminator Machine with Quick Warm-Up, 2 Heat Settings, Jam Release for Documents and Photos, White

This is my second at home laminating machine. I actually prefer this to my first one. It heats up quickly and is so easy to use. There’s no confusing buttons or anything to make it difficult. It is small enough to tuck away out of sight. Everything I’ve laminated has been so good quality and have never had an issue with a paper and page not adhering as it should. I like that it gives you options for thickness of the papers for something that might need a little stronger laminate. Definitely worth the price of this over the name brand ones. Love it all around!

Sturdy and long-lasting. I did a lot of laminating as a teacher, and this one lasted me about two years, having shared it between three classrooms. We created a lot of materials with cardstock alone, printed pictures with cardstock backing, cardstock with cardstock backing, even cardstock with yarn! Lightweight, perfect size for a small space. Heats up quickly and seals cardstock with 3mm or 5mm perfectly. Clean look. Great for the price! I buy these now instead of the higher priced name brand laminators. Fewer problems, last the same amount of time, and do just as good a job if not better.

Love this for our homeschool! Heats well, and in no time! Just make sure you feed the enclosed side of pouch in first, you will get perfect results every single time! I almost spent $50 on a laminator that was name brand and I am so glad I spent half of that amount and went with this. It doesn’t feel cheap, the size is not bulky at all, so easy to store. It looks sleek and nice, and pairs perfectly with the Amazon laminating pouches. Has a button for 3 or 5 mil sheets, I’ve only ever used 3mil with this so I cannot speak on the 5 mil. If you’re looking to laminate for your personal use, class room or like us, homeschool; get this product! You won’t regret it!

I honestly didn’t expect to love this laminator as much as I do — especially for the price! I grabbed the Amazon Basics Thermal Laminator on a whim because it was only around $25 and I needed something simple and reliable for my daughter’s homeschooling activities. I’m a full-time caregiver and homeschooling mom, so keeping things budget-friendly is really important to me, but I also can’t afford to keep buying things that don’t work well. This was such a pleasant surprise.First of all, it’s compact and lightweight, which I appreciate because I don’t have a ton of space. It’s easy to store on a bookshelf or in a drawer and isn’t bulky or ugly. I can take it out when I need it and put it away just as quickly. The laminator heats up in about 3–5 minutes, which is totally reasonable for my needs. There’s a simple switch for 3 mil or 5 mil settings depending on what kind of pouches you’re using, and it even comes with a jam release lever which I haven’t needed yet — but I love knowing it’s there just in case.I’ve used it to laminate flashcards, tracing sheets, visual schedules, behavior charts, craft templates, chore checklists, and even Bluey-inspired pretend play pieces — and everything has come out looking smooth and professional. No bubbling, no curling, no melting disasters. Just crisp, sturdy pages that are now toddler-proof and reusable.I use standard 3 mil laminating pouches (also from Amazon Basics — those are great too!), and I’ve had zero issues feeding them through. I usually laminate one sheet at a time just to keep things easy and prevent jams, but it feels like this little machine could handle more without a problem. The rollers feed smoothly and evenly, and the final product cools pretty quickly so I can start trimming and cutting right away. What really makes this a five-star product for me is how much value I’ve gotten for so little money. I’ve used it at least 30–40 times now and it’s still going strong. For $25, this is easily one of the best purchases I’ve made for our homeschool setup. I feel more organized and creative when I can make durable, reusable materials for my daughter — and she absolutely loves the laminated visuals we use in our daily routine. It’s especially helpful for kids who benefit from repetition, structure, and hands-on learning tools.Overall, if you’re on the fence — get it! Whether you’re homeschooling, running a small business, planning a party, organizing your home, or just want to preserve some important papers or crafts, this Amazon Basics Thermal Laminator is a total hidden gem. Affordable, easy to use, surprisingly high quality, and honestly a game changer for anyone with young kids or a DIY mindset. Highly, highly recommend!

This laminator works great and is really easy to use. It heats up pretty quickly, feeds pages through smoothly, and I haven’t had issues with bubbling or weird wrinkles.I bought it expecting to use it occasionally and somehow I’m now looking around the house for things that “need” to be laminated. Definitely 5 stars.

this has been so nice for homeschool stuff. if you’re not careful it can get stuck sideways but it’s great for the price

I’ve been using this mainly for laminating kids’ materials, and it’s been reliable so far.It warms up in just a few minutes and runs quietly. I haven’t experienced any jams, and the seal quality has been consistently solid with no bubbling. It’s not especially fast, but for home use it’s more than adequate. The one thing to watch is how you feed the laminating sheet. If you insert it from the open edge instead of the sealed edge, it can bunch up and require clearing. Once you know that, it’s easy to avoid.Overall, a dependable laminator for everyday home use.

...Just kidding; I didn't use it as a food sealer. It's a great thermal laminator machine. It creates quality sealed documents and even includes a few pouches to start you out sealing.
