pried the screen-side mesh panel on my ioniq 5 with the included lever, stuck the fabric double-side tape on the inner edges, and pressed the black wrap on. dry-fit lined up with the OEM contours on a 2022-2024 LHD car; no cutting drama. listing sells 1:1 OEM-style blackout so the beige/light mesh stops screaming at you. install is fiddly more than hard. first day it looked flush; I'm not claiming multi-month adhesive forever. kit includes the wrap plus a plastic lever and some tape scraps. worth it if the factory mesh color bugs you. skip if you're on RHD or already happy with stock beige.

If you added an aftermarket black bezel overlay to cover the stock white bezel on a Hyundai Ioniq5, this black mesh fabric is the missing piece that you need for a cohesive look. Installation was straightforward...which is good because there were zero instructions included. The hardest part was removing the plastic panel (with OEM white fabric) from the dash. Unfortunately, the plastic tool that was included with the kit is fairly useless. It is not strong enough to pry the panel and it bent almost immediately. Luckily, I had an extra spudger from a laptop repair kit and a thin metal shim that were able to safely pop the panel off the dash. The BestEvMod black mesh overlay was cut perfectly and can be stretched taught over the panel. Using a few pieces of the included double-sided adhesive strips kept everything in place. Once done and the panel popped back into place, everything looks completely stock and matches the new black bezel overlay perfectly!

The panel is an odd shape so fit was always going to be a challenge. I wrestled with this cover long enough to get it taut and flat before sticking it down and popping the panel back in. Except it got loose during that reinstall process…rinse and repeat two more times. I ended up calling it good with a single little wrinkle and the tiniest amount of slack. A gentle swipe toward the top makes them disappear for a moment, but I’ll probably end up popping the panel off eventually for another attempt. At least it’s easy with the included tool. Give this cover a try if you are going for the interior blackout look. Be prepared to compromise (or spend an hour on a 3 minute job) if you’re an absolute perfectionist.

Not bad. Somewhat difficult to install. I think it needs to be just a bit bigger. Hopefully it will last.

This product was great to change the color of my speaker grill for the Ioniq 5. Getting it off using the supplied tools was quite easy. The most difficult thing for me was getting the backing off the adhesive, it should have easy pull off tabs because those adhesives were so small. I ended up using my own double stick tape and got the job done. Ultimately, a great look to go along with the Matte black bezel and matte screen protector.

It looks great, and with a little work you can get the cover nice and tight, absolutely worth the money, but if you need it to fit perfectly on the dashboard or it will constantly bug you, keep in mind, unless you remove the fabric from the part before putting this cover on, it will not fit flush back into the dashboard.

The product came as advertised and was easy to install. Installed within 5 minutes. Came with a set of tools, that I now have to use for other projects. This completes the look I was looking for. Also, it's easily reversible.

Ist nur eine Stoffhülle mit Gummizug, passt aber wenn die Position gefunden wurde sehr gut und Klebestreifen braucht man nicht.. Optimal in Verbindung mit der schwarzen Folie 👍🏻

Sowohl Folie als auch stoffüberzug haben relativ gute passgenauigkeit und das werkzeug zur montage ist mit inbegriffen.

It is actually just a fabric. And if it’s actually put over the original, the magnet needs to be a lot stronger than before. So I’d suggest removing the original underneath and putting just this one instead. The plastic tool didn’t do much, had to use the metal one, but be careful for scratches and breaking the plastic frame. Overall does what it’s supposed to do.
