Fantastic device! makes BT audio easy
I like to use bluetooth headphones with noise cancelling when using the computer, but using a bluetooth dongle on the PC is prone to various issues resulting in the headphones inevitably glitching out after a couple hours of use. I bought this to bypass Window's Bluetooth implementation and it solved all my issues. The BT signal is crazy strong and can easily get 30' range indoors and probably a lot more outside without obstructions sapping the signal. I plugged this into the PC headphone port (headphone amplifier connected to the PC, actually) and it works like a champ - super fidelity and range is easily 3x the range I got with the PC adapter I was using previously. Pairing was a concern, but it's easy. Just make sure you don't have any other bluetooth devices around (or turn bluetooth off on those devices) the transmitter will pair with the first bluetooth device it finds that is in pair mode. Once paired to a device, it will instantly pair with that device when you turn it on in the future. You can pair a second device and use a switch on the transmitter to switch between them. Great device for the price. Works perfectly, easy to set up, and the sound quality is suberb.

Saved time. Saved money. Works great. Excellent customer service.
I had a "problem," and this device was the answer. I bought the Miccus RTX 2.0 bluetooth transmitter in January, 2018. I have an old style music set-up, with a CD changer, cassette player, turntable, and tuner/amp. I have two pairs of wired speakers, one pair in the kitchen and one in the living room. I had been contemplating getting a distribution box and running wires for two more sets of speakers, one for the dining room and one for the porch, but the physical challenges would take days to overcome. I thought that there must be an easier way, and this is it. I bought the Miccus 2.0 because it said that it could be paired with two devices. I only bought one wireless speaker to try it out. After I had placed the order, I discovered in looking at the product descriptions that the 2.0 does not ship with RCA cables (which I needed), though the less expensive model does. I contacted customer service at Miccus and within a few days I had the cable I needed, no charge. The response to my email was within an hour or two. I hooked up the device to the aux outputs on my amp and turned on the bluetooth speaker. While I stood with the speaker in one hand and the directions for pairing in the other, the devices paired as I read the instructions. I did nothing but turn them on! That's as easy as it gets. Less than five minutes from opening the box to music playing in my hand. I was playing an old John Fogerty LP at the time, and I carried the speaker to the dining room, where before there was no music. On the way there, I noticed something that I should have thought about ahead of time: there's a noticeable lag between the wired and the wireless. Not being a true audiophile, I hadn't considered this, but I don't care. If I'm in a location where the music is playing over the wireless speakers, I will shut the wired speakers off. I can now play LPs, CDs, and cassettes anywhere I want to without the many hours I would have spent running the wires. I have had no issues with losing the pairing or the signal breaking up at a distance of about 25 feet with intervening plaster walls and a brick chimney. I will eventually get a second speaker to pair with the Miccus 2.0. I even saw in the instructions that the devices can be "chained" together. I'm not sure how that works, but I may get another one and try it to see if I can have the same music in four locations without the lag. This device saved me time and money, and it works great. That's 5 stars.

The range is amazing..
The range is amazing...once you get it connected! In all honesty, connecting it has not been a problem for most of my devices. I do however have two pairs of "Altec Lansing MZX300-BLU Bluetooth Headphones Wireless Over Ear, Blue," which continually have problems connecting. Once I get them connected they operate fantastically...unless the volume from the input device is too loud. If the volume from the input device is too loud one of the signals coming into the headphones gets lost or reduced to a whisper. To explain, I have an Odroid computer running a timer application that sends an audio signal of a voice who communicates the current remaining time on the timer. This audio signal is plugged into a "Rolls MX153 Mix Mate Mixer." I also have an audio input going into the same mixer, which I hook up to an iPad to play music into the mixer. The mixer is then connected to an "SMSL SA50 50Wx2 TDA7492 Class D Amplifier." If the input of the iPad audio is too loud when the audio signal from the Odroid comes in I lose the audio signal from the iPad or it is reduced to a whisper. All that to say, once I figured it out this Miccus works great! It is likely the headphones that are not very good, at least in regard to the connectivity. I have an "Altec Lansing Mini H2O" that connects effortlessly to the Miccus. HOWEVER, the Miccus does not remember these connections! Every morning I have to redo the Bluetooth setup for both channels. Sometimes I have to unplug the Miccus to get it to reconnect to any devices. This product still gets the job done, once you figure it out, and thus I have rated it 4 stars!

If you have specific need, read this, it might help you.
I don't write reviews often, but I decided to do for this item. First of all, its much smaller then what it seams on the pictures, its GREAT and feels like quality item. I like that part of it, but what it should be doing I don't. Reason for one star is that technically its useless for some people. Here is why: It does transmit with no problems to two devices, pass through function also works so in essence you can hook up 3 speakers, two via bluetooth and one through audio digital pass through. Why its useless for some people like me? It robs you for 40% of volume on all 3 speakers AND to be worse, speakers on bluetooth and the one you hooked up on audio digital output WILL NOT be in sync, and it can not be adjusted. That means, sound (speech or music) will have a strong echo. If you are not using it for 3 speaker set up like I wanted to, yeah, it might be useful for you ONLY if you never play loud music, as like I said, volume output is 40% less. KEEP in mind that, EVEN THEN you are still paying in sound quality, as the lower sound output will FORCE you to raise volume on your speakers, that means your speakers are always in hight volume meaning they also amp up any noise in the signal. So if you want to listen medium volume, your speakers need to be on 100% Volume, and when you pause the music you will hear humming from the speakers as they are on 100%. Humming wont be heard when speakers are set on 50-60%, but then as transmitter robs you off volume, 50-60% volume on the speakers will give you low volume sound. So to conclude, why to NOT buy: 1) It lowers sound output by 40% so if you like to listen loud music sometimes, do not buy this. 2) If you want to hook up 3 speakers with using the pass through, do not buy this, as speakers wont be in sync, 3) If you want to listen to up to medium volume but you want good quality, do not buy, as you will be having humming noise. Why to BUY: Only if you want to hook up 2 speakers on bluetooth, and you plan to use it for background music where you dont need high volume. NOTE: I have another single bluetooth receiver only, I test it and that one does not lower output volume, which means this Miccus trans/receiver has a bad output volume period.

Miccus mini transmitter
Exactly what I wanted! A reliable, small transmitter to send the sound signals via Bluetooth with NO WIRES to the soundbar. I have a vintage phono that has somehow survived all these years. It was a Christmas present in 1965. I have a small extra bedroom that I have turned into my "Man Cave". Thanks to Miccus, a transmitter sends Bluetooth signals to a Bluetooth sound bar. RCA connections from phono to Pyle preamp to Miccus transmitter with Bluetooth wireless sound sent to the sound bar is the basic very simple setup. Great price. Easy setup!

Couldn't Bridge / Pair Between Two Miccus Devices
I originally bought two of these to use as a bridge between my turntable and my A/V Receiver. I set up one Miccus device as a receiver on my A/V Home Theater Receiver. The other Miccus device was setup as a transmitter and connected to my Project pre-amp out which, in turn, was connected to my Project turntable. This setup does work as I have used an older wireless transmitter/receiver before in the past. I wanted a tech refresh, so I opted to purchase these Miccus devices based off the reviews. Once everything was connected, I tried to pair the devices without any luck. I tested each side of the "bridge" to make sure they were not effective. I tested the receiver end by pairing my iPhone with the Miccus device that was setup as a receiver and sure enough it played sound very well through my A/V Receiver just fine. I then tested the transmitter end by pairing the Miccus device that was setup as a transmitter to an old Bose bluetooth speaker. It also played just fine and sound was very good. So, for whatever reason, I just simply could not get the two Miccus devices to pair with each other no matter what I did. I turned of my dual band wi-fi router and anything else transmitting at 2.4 GHz. Any and all bluetooth and wi-fi devices within 50 feet of the Miccus devices were shutdown and still, no pairing. I then moved the two Miccus devices next to each other only an inch apart from each other and AGAIN no pairing. After about two hours of messing around with them I decided to give up. Even if they would eventually pair, I didn't want to go through this again when they would power off or go into standby mode. So, I opted to purchase Dayton Audio Wave-Link WLS System 2.4 GHz Full Range Wireless Audio Transmitter & Receiver System for $52.98 about half the price for two Miccus devices. They arrived the next day and in about 30 seconds they paired with each other, because they use a dedicated channel between the two and basically makes pairing a cinch. So, if you are trying to use two of these and experiencing the same issues that I have, or if you are just looking for a simpler option for half the price then google the Dayton Audio Wave-Link WLS System, check out the specs and purchase it. It really made setup a cinch and takes all pairing headaches away. I decided to keep the Miccus devices as they seem to work when paired with other devices and therefore I kept on connected to my A/V receiver as an option to connect my iPhone, or computer to my stereo via Bluetooth incase I wanted. The other Miccus device I just put back in the box. I suppose maybe I'll find a use for it someday, but in the end, I wish I would have just purchased the other Dayton set in the first place. I gave an overall rating of 3 Stars, simply because when used as a single device it seems to pair fine with whatever other device and sounded pretty good, but when used to pair with another Miccus device I'd give it zero stars as I just couldn't seem to get it to pair at all with each other.

Very impressed... Depends on your needs.
I needed a Blue tooth audio transmitter for LONG range in the yard. I pondered on a few of them. This one is not the cheapest. But this one fit the bill with the removable antenna. It says long range. (but don't they all) The transmitter is in a metal garage, so I mounted this antenna outside up high. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GY474GJZ? I used an Oontz angle 3 speaker. I was impressed with the range. I got about 400 feet away, open air, in the neighbors yard, before it started to cut out. There was a small amount of latency with the speaker. So if you wanted to use it in the same room you may have a problem. The instructions say some latency depend on the speakers BT format(?) If I unplug the unit and plug it back in, it powers on and reconnects to the speaker. After doing some research. Range varies A LOT. Interference with other BT devices, going through walls, sitting on a table, near Wifi units, phones. (Basically any other devices on the 2.4 5.0 frequency.) So if you are having range problems it may be interference. If you use an external antenna be aware there are 2 styles of connectors. Before you condemn the unit with an external antenna, 2 females WILL screw together the same, but if they are not a "match" you will get poor range. It sounds strange, but look for or at the adapters if they come with the antenna. The one with the unit is the correct one.

definatly not for a bluetooth soundbar under the tv like some people want to use it for because the ...
I wanted to extend my audio system over the house (have a long and somewhat smaller house) when i am cleaning or so to get an overal sound with this device and in the summer for outside purposes. Due to the far to large LAG this is unusable for the first intention i just called. Low lag means miliseconds but i suspect this device has Lag at least 0,1 second what means that you definately can not use this synchronous with an other speaker set or so. The pairing is also a bit bizarre but i suspect it has something to do with the dual link posibility. Also the range is not what i expected because even with the optional range extender antenna in my house with open doors on one floor gives stuttering sounds where connection sometimes drops out. For me it does the least i expected the device to do but will only keep it for the "garden" option in the summer because it is not useable for other tasks, definatly not for a bluetooth soundbar under the tv like some people want to use it for because the sound will always be noticable behind the vision

THE MICCUS RTX 2.0 CAN'T COPE IN MY HOUSE
Miccus RTX 2.0 review I bought this Miccus RTX 2.0 to transmit music via Bluetooth from my HiFi Room in the house to a Bose Bluetooth Speaker or a pair of B & W Bluetooth Headphones on a table in my garden. The measured distance the Bluetooth signal has to travel is maximum 38 ft with 2 walls to go through. I have no problem pairing the speakers or headphones to the RTX 2.0 at close range but when I have the Bluetooth signal located, what I get is continual sound cut-outs / dropouts and often a complete loss of signal all together at only 38 ft distance. Consequently, in my house at least, the Miccus claim that the range of this unit is upto 160 ft does not hold up at all (yes, I read all the instructions about placement away from Modems etc). One of the walls the signal has to go through is an extremely hard, solid, dense, concrete construction (I canโt even drill through it) so maybe that is the cause of all the problems I face with the Miccus. However, apart from some permanent blind spots that I know about, mostly the RTX 2.0 does work OK from room to room within the house, so perhaps it does have some merit for some users.
