Easy to take on and off! Doesn’t tear!
Awesome! This is insulated so condensation doesn’t build up when venting outside into colder air. Our washer and dryer is upstairs and the vent go up the wall into our attic then over our master bedroom’s bathroom then vents outside. Well our old ductwork wasn’t insulated so during winter months condensation would apparently build up in duct work without our knowledge. Long story short one morning my wife was brushing her teeth and all the sudden the water that held been building up in duct in attic broke through the cheap aluminum vent and the drywall on ceiling then water came down into her sink. Lucky me not on her head but close! We had no idea condensation was building up in the dryer vent. We get it cleaned out professionally too every six month as we do tons of laundry with 5 kids! So the condensation had been building up fast! We live in a newer home over with over 4000 square feet but we never go into attic so would have never known old duct work was tearing from weight of water. Maybe it ripped from cleanings overtime Idk but point is this insulation duct seems to do the trick as you can just feel the difference in quality. It’s sturdy! Just so much better than the old tin duct work that always tears and rips when you try to install it with the metal clamp and the little screw. This insulated duct stays in tact and goes slides right on doesn’t tear. Still goes on with metal clamp and screw but because it’s a strong plastic or pvc covering whatever it is it goes on smoothly! By the way State Farm didn’t cover the $4,000 plus damage to roof and repairs to duct work as they said this was a maintenance issue! And yes we presented them with years worth of receipts showing ducts cleaning every 6 months still denied it so I paid out of pocket. Now only $4,000 grand some may say but for someone who never had a claim in over 15 years on house or multiple cars you’d think State Farm would of tossed me a bone here but nope. I know what’s all this have to do with simple review of a 20 dollar piece of duct tubbing! If your on the fence of buying the old school cheap tin duct for your dryer vs dishing out few more bucks for the insulation duct get the insulated duct! It will save you thousands of dollars potentially! If you have the condensation problems with dryer venting outside. Excellent duct work just buy this. Was delivered same day when I had to have old one replaced. Well worth it and it easier to clean doesn’t tear when taking on and off etc. Buy it!

Cost effective, insulated and easy to cut to size. Would recommend!
This is great - exactly what I was looking for! One of the problems with outlet hoses for portable air conditioners is that they are not insulated, so it tends to become really hot after a while, and completely counterproductive - the air con cools the room, and the outlet pipe heats the same room. This duct has insulation - it does become warm, but not hot. And compared to the non-insulated, a ton better. You can see in the picture - I've got it going from my portable air conditioner, and because 16 feet is more than enough, I sliced out a bit as well to ventilate my 3D printer enclosure that I built, so that I can vent VOCs out the room. All I needed were pair of scissors and a wire cutter. The hose itself is very flexible, not stiff, so no problem routing it anywhere. Construction is good quality. It comes with a couple of pipe clamps out of the box, and I just sourced the extra pair of cheap clamps (for the printer enclosure) from the hardware store. Would I buy again? Yep for sure. Would definitely recommend!
