You can't manually adjust the charging settings on the ev charger, but you can set it on the Autel Charger app via Bluetooth connection. 2. 4AWG cable is a bit big, but it can be used, 6AWG cable is the most suitable. Can the output amperage be changed via softare, on the front panel or through the phone app?

This is a 2 part answer. Yes, the app can restrict the amperage but you must set the max amp to the charger on the set sitch in the charger. So if the charger is on a 50 am circuit the set switch internally must be set to 40 amp max because of the 10% rule on circuits (always buffer 10% over max amps 40amp goes on a 50 amp breaker, 50amp on a 60amp breaker and so on). Once max is set to a hard limit in the charger unit itself you can control the max amp in the app.
