SupMaKin Safe Mandoline Vegetable Slicer Plus, Potato Slicer 6 in 1

I have just tried to slice a potato and a carrot and I am amazed at the speed and efficiency. It was easy to put together and to clean afterwards. That was within 20 minutes of delivery! The mandoline protects the hands and fingers in use and with normal caution about not ever touching the blades while in use or cleaning it feels safe to use. It is sturdy and stable and at present the cut is perfect for slicing. I'll wait a day or so before trying all the cutting modes and time will tell how long the blades are this sharp. A very satisfied customer. 5 stars.

I love this! Saves your fingers, takes a bit of getting used to the different settings but it is quick and easy to clean. Great if you making pickles or coleslaw which has a lot of slicing involved - done in minutes.

My first ever mandolin so I expected to need to experiment with it . I decided to see how dehydrated vegetable crisps came out so I set it to 1.5mm, used the plastic holder to guide veg in the chute . Veg came out all different thickness ( not one piece as thin as 1.5mm) and I quickly learnt you can not put any pressure on the plastic holder or it pushes the veg and makes a thicker. It just needs to rest on the vegetable to stop it flipping. The pieces looked between 3-5mm I dehydrated them anyway to see how they turned out and it was a tooth breaking kind of hard solid. Whole lot went in the bin. I couldn’t face starting over that day so fresh start the next morning . This time I set the dial to 0mm and no pressure when guiding them - most came out perfect for crisps. Still a few a bit thicker ( which I picked out and didn’t dehydrate. I’ll add several photos and you can hopefully see the difference . Carrots and parsnips slice great until about the last few inches where the plastic holder doesn’t actually spike in them enough to hold them steady on the end so they fall and the last few pieces slice long ways . I then tested cutting potatoes into strips by rotating the little thing on the back to change blades. Oh my ! Perfect . I chose medium thickness setting and they came out like kebab shop chips size - I will try thinner next time and I expect they will be more like mac d sticks. You can put these strips back in , with a different setting and dice but that seemed like way too much effort to me . It comes with a little angled brush which is needed to brush out little slithers of vegetables that get stuck in hard to reach places . I’ve only had it a few days but enjoying experimenting and learning with it . I’ve rinsed it under the tap immediately after cutting ( especially potatoes - to remove any sticky starch). It suctions well to my kitchen work top and the plunger is very easy to use. I’ve tried white potatoes , sweet potatoes , carrots and parsnips and it has sliced through all effortlessly, so far . It feels very safe when using, fingers no where near the blade. Cleaning the blade just using running tap water also feels safe and seems to be working out fine so far . I was slightly disappointed that the spikes on the holder are plastic . Looking specifically for stainless steel parts that slice or pierce the food I had expected some kind of metal spikes .

I bought this vegetable slicer for my son, and overall, it has made life so much easier! There’s no need to spend time cutting everything up by hand, as this handy piece of equipment has various functions to cut your vegetables into different shapes and sizes. It’s sturdy, easy to put together, simple to use, and easy to assemble. I’m really pleased with the quality and feel it’s great value for money. Definitely a useful kitchen gadget that I would recommend!

This is the best product I have bought in a long time. After a few months of use I find no fault in it. It is easy to use, it is safe, can go in the dishwasher. I am using it more and more. It saves so much time.

Is ok but you cannot cut the vegetables in the long side

This product is worth every cent spent on it. Buy it without thinking twice, I also read the comments that some users mention it's hard to clean, actually it is extremely easy, they probably didn't take out the removable part. I cut onions, potatoes, tomatoes with it. Perfect, and very durable.

It's good and works as intended, but I'm personally not fan have feed happens especially when slicing or julienne something solft like boiled beetroot. But sharpness really good, sturdy on table, compact and easy to set up, so overall worth the money.

Appena ricevuto e subito provato. A me interessava soprattutto per le patate a fiammifero da friggere. Stupendo. Io ho due mandoline ma ho avuto una brutta esperienza: un taglio profondo nonostante avessi usato tutti gli accorgimenti del caso (capita purtroppo). Ero quindi costretto ad usarle con i guanti da taglio ma sempre con timore. Così prendevo le patate sempre congelate. Questo attrezzo è completamente sicuro, in 3 secondi ho tagliato due patate (selettore posizionato su 8, prossima volta provo 4 un po' più sottili) e stasera me le friggo. Semplicissimo da usare, tagli perfetti, nessuno sforzo, nessun rischio neppure nel pulirlo e non occupa spazio nel cassetto perché è pieghevole. Consigliatissimo per le patate a fiammifero, domini proverò le altre tre funzioni (anche se a me interessava il taglio patate da friggere). Voto: 10

Très facile d’utilisation, même quand la vue baisse. L’objet est sûr tant qu’on l’utilise normalement. En usage correct, aucun risque particulier.

Gutes Gerät. Kann individuell gut eingestellt werden. Finger kommen nicht mit den Klingen in Berührung. Zum Reinigen kann es komplett zerlegt werden, dann klappt es prima
