40W LED Grow Light Bulbs E26 4 Pack, Full Spectrum Grow Lamp Plant Light

When they arrived, they all worked. This is good. I built a light fixture to house these bulbs for the floor of my grow tent. So I could have light shining on the bottom of my plants as well. Approximately 25% more yield.

I Jimmy rigged these bulbs to the sides of my square UFO light & the tops of the plants reached specifically towards these bulbs instead of the larger/higher watt UFO light. Worked awesomely for my seedlings until the 8th node, than seemed to not be powerful enough past about 8-10 inches tall. I kept the bulbs within a foot of the tops of the plants. Definitely a great buy for the first month of the plants life... Goodluck!

Small, red and purplish light. Rather dim. See plants that have spent a week under light. Rather small useful “sweet spot” as shown by what bloomed. Went back to 6500k ‘regular’ light bulbs. One real disconcerting thing was when I tried to remove the bulb, it unscrewed at the middle as shown. I was able to extract the socket half of the bulb, then screw the two parts back together. This could be dangerous. Two of two came apart. If I had one pampered house plant and a flexible neck desk lamp, I could add light to maybe a bushy 8” pot of plant to help it out. Otherwise, I don’t think it will do well for seed starting unless just doing a few. Inexpensive or reasonably so, will put out a range of enhanced light. Not real bright. Don’t know about lifespan of bulb. If you want to supplement the light a single houseplant gets in a day, these should work. With the way the bulb comes apart, probably not waterproof or resistant. That is why I took a star. I decided to keep them, but can’t really recommend these.

These bulbs are the tiniest little bulbs I’ve ever seen. All 4 of them came in a very small box but they fit in a regular bulb socket and the light from them are just as bright as any full spectrum bulb, just concentrated in a smaller area. We’ll see how long they last though!

Winters in the upper midwest can be tough on plants both indoor and outdoor. We bring some of them in for the winter and then we have too many plants for the amount of windows we have that have any amount of sun shining through them. These bulbs are inexpensive but seem to work really well for our indooor plants. I put them in a clamp light and turn them on for 6-8 hours a day and all the plants respond really well. Maybe it's the IR and UV in addition to the red and blue LEDs. I don't know. Just trying to keep them alive so we can get more plants and expand the problem.

Good size , and good work

Bought these to add to the light fixture in the room we use as a “ winter greenhouse” and they were an Amazon deal of the day. One of them died in a month and they aren’t as being as I was hoping but they work...or the plants don’t seem to mind lol. They are a small size and not expensive so I guess that should have maybe been a clue to not being bright, either way if you’re looking for a small plant light this could def he an option. Stars knocked off because of early death of one of them

i have these in multiple applications for my home plans and the plants respond to whatever wavelength these bulbs are putting out... growing both large palms and a two bonzai's with these lights... i'd buy more if i had more plants.

Not 100% certain but I THINK my plants like them. Less bright than older florescent ones so actually I think better and less tiring. Even the purplish color is not as tiring as the old white fluorescents. so far the plants look happy with them

Works extremely well but since I use them indoors and work around my plants would the light be harmful for my eyes?

Very satisfied with the LEDs and driver. Of course they have a very small coverage area, but if your use case is for flowering in a -very small space- these provide optimal wavelengths. (eg; I got these to use all four for supplementary lighting in a little 2'x2' grow tent that I only use for seed production; very practical for this application.) The product description includes the slightly-concerning advice "Don’t touch or move when the light working," and this is particularly important for North American users, because the bulb base is not E26 as described, but rather the E27 commonly used in Europe. Because the threaded base is ~5mm longer than an E26, you will have exposed conductors when fitted into an E26 socket. If you touch this during operation, you will receive a shock, and there is a risk of fire or damage to equipment if it comes into contact with hanging wires or other conductive surfaces. I would guess that many of the most practical use cases for these bulbs are in cramped spaces.) In the attached photos, you can see that there is ~5mm of exposed base when fitted into a common, CSA-conforming socket, and that even in longer sockets, 'hot' surfaces are still visible and there's a small but non-zero chance of accidental contact. This risk can be mitigated with a little insulating tape (although the heat vents on the base are very close to the threaded base and it's important to avoid covering these.) I opted to keep these because they are otherwise perfect for my purpose and I haven't found anything else in a similar form-factor that puts out a comparable amount of both red and far red/near infrared wavelengths for the most efficient photosynthesis during flowering. TLDR; Nice, efficient bulbs if your actual use case is covering a tiny footprint at a close distance and you're not expecting wide coverage, however cannot recommend for use with a standard E26 fixture as they can present an electrical hazard if used as out-of-the-box.

The lights are great for my tropical plants!
