These knives are very sharp and if cared for, they should last many years. The ceramic is brittle, so one needs to be careful not to pry them, drop them, or knock them against other things because they can chip and break. These come with sleeves that should be used to protect the blades when storing in a drawer. Food washes off them easily.

They are real sharp but the tip broke off on one of them just from cutting raw meat, and I'd only used it 2-3 times

These knives are super sharp and very reasonably price. It is important that they come with covers/sleeves to protect the blade. I love ceramic knives they impart no metal flavor on food, they stay sharp a looong time. They are fragile though and chip if treated roughly, all ceramic knives. This set is for my RV.

First time I used the big blade 2 pieces broke off the blade. Would return but kids threw the box away. U make your own decision but 1st time use and it breaks
