Does the job well. Once you use a rivnut, you will never go back.
Seems heavy duty and a good quality as any one can expect. Look for the version that INCLUDES the 10-32 mandrel and rivnuts. Some claimed they did not get their 10-32 mandrel in that other set. The pictures shows the same box I got and shows the extra mandrel in the pictures. My box does not have the room, and will not hold any more mandrels. ???? So do your homework. I ordered the 10-32 mandrel and rivnuts. Instructions not clear, pictures too small. Tip: There is an internal sleave that slides over the hex body of the mandrel. You need to slide the interior sleeve back to install the mandrel. You also need to slide this interior sleeve back before you try and unscrew the mandrel. You might think the mandrel is screwed in tight and you need a wrench to loosen. Not the case, you should not tighten the mandrel all the way in, and in fact it MUST be loose to allow the interior sleeve to lock. The interior sleeve does not rotate relative to the threaded receptacle, so the mandrel must rotate to accommodate and lock. When trying to remove the tool after compressing the rivnut, the rear knurled knob will be tight. Squeeze the handle slightly and the knob will rotate more freely. You need three hands....

Very nice
This is what i've been looking for. It works perfect to install threaded inserts into holes. I used it to install seats in my aluminum boat. The tool and case is top notch. Just buy it, you'll need one someday.
