Please read before buying!
My review in short: Absolutely love this! Great quality once you learn how to use it, which isn't difficult. Disclaimer #1: This toaster oven DOES preheat, however not in the way a typical kitchen oven does. For example, once you select your heating option, temperature, and press "start" the temperature number on the screen will begin to blink continuously and the heating coils will begin to turn red as it heats up. Once the unit gets to the desired temperature the temperature number will stop blinking and the coils will turn off and now the unit will be ready for food to be put in as you would in a standard kitchen oven. Just know that there will be no "beep" or sound to notify you of this, only the blinking of the temperature number, so you have to pay attention. Once you place your food inside you'll then need to readjust your cooking time to your desired time frame as the cooking time unfortunately has to run while the toaster preheats. Small issue, so no big deal. Disclaimer #2: If I were you I would use to the cooking tray that comes with this unit to put my food on to cook. This definitely helps in keeping this toaster oven clean and preventing anything falling to the bottom and potentially burning or starting a fire. Also, if you do use the tray I would cover it with either a sheet of parchment paper or line it with aluminum foil for each cook. This helps making clean up easier. I did notice that the tray, for some reason rusted a little bit after a few uses. Since I have been lining the tray with aluminum foil and/or parchment paper the rusting has stopped. So just something to keep in mind. Disclaimer #3: This unit can get HOT. Storing things on top of this unit while the unit is cooking is a bad idea and guaranteed to burn. I would say that anything within 6 inches of the sides, rear or on top of the unit will melt/burn while it's cooking. Cooking ability/Usage: I needed a toaster oven so I wouldn't have to keep using my kitchen oven. I haven't had any issues in foods not cooking thoroughly. So far everything has cooked great. I literally cook or reheat most foods in here. Thanks to the low temperature setting I have even cooked ribs in here. I have also cooked my Thanksgiving whole turkey breast in here. Size: Great compact size for cooking decent sized foods. For toast, I'd say you'd probably be able to cook 4-6 slices of regular sized bread in here at one time. Notifications: As I said in my "Disclaimer #1" section, this unit does preheat, but it will not alert you with a sound once it has reached the desired temperature. The temperature number that was selected will simply stop blinking. However, it does notify you with a beep once the selected cooking time has ended with 3-4 decent volume beeps. This unit will also beep once every time you plug it in as it turns on. Definitely will be loud in a quiet house. Cooking Settings: This unit comes with 10 different settings which cover a wide variety of cooking options like "Toast", "Pizza", "Cookies", "Broil", "Bake", "Rotisserie" which by the way, also comes with a rotisserie spit and will spin the meat as it's cooked, "Convection", "Keep Warm", "Defrost", and "Reheat". There are also signs on the unit door that instruct the user on best locations to put the rack for each setting for best cooking outcome. Overall: I give this unit a 5 out of 5 for my usage. It definitely beats having to waste money using my big kitchen oven for small cooking usage. I would highly recommend.

Love It - 2 Years & Still Loving It!
I love this toaster oven! After more than 5 years of searching for a good quality toaster oven both in stores and online, and being continually disappointed by how tinny and cheaply made most of them seemed to be even at 3 times the cost of this Toshiba, I'd spotted this one on Amazon and decided in desperation to take a chance on it due to the many good reviews it already had. I've not regretted that impulse for as much as a moment, and have thoroughly enjoyed using this toaster oven. It looks great on my counter, is more sturdy than any toaster ovens I had looked at in stores for MANY years, and works great! Since I already had both a built-in Wolf convection wall oven and a built-in Wolf convection microwave oven, I hadn't cared whether the toaster oven had a convection feature or not, but am now glad it did, because I use that feature a great deal more often than I'd ever thought I would. As with most toaster ovens, the exterior of this one does get hot, but not frightenly so. I'd purchased a black silicone 9x12" mat from Amazon to place on the top of it to diffuse some of the heat from rising to the cabinets above, but mainly so I could place a couple of extra toaster oven pans on it when the oven was in use--when not in use, I store the clean nested pans in the toaster oven. (Amazon has some great options available for extra stainless steel toaster oven pans, and a 12x10x1" is a bit larger than the standard pans for this size toaster oven, but fits it perfectly.) I'd read one review by someone who'd returned their oven because the display sometimes fogged a little with steam when the convection feature was used. It does do that slightly, but the display remains clear enough to see even when it does, it also clears up again as soon as the oven cools, and has not negatively affected the operation of the oven whatsoever in the 2 years that I've been using mine. I truly love this toaster oven! This Toshiba actually surpasses the former great toaster oven it had taken me years to find this replacement for, since the design of it, especially the sturdy base of it, is far superior to the old one I'd had for more than 20 years. That one had been a quality toaster oven also, and had still been working like a champ, but it's one design flaw had been that one of the legs on it had broken, and I'd grown tired of crazy gluing it back on every few months or so, yet couldn't find any new ones in stores that had been nearly as good as my old one--until finding this Toshiba! This Toshiba actually exceeded my expectations in every way, and I have been delighted with it since the very moment of taking it out of the box, because the quality and design of it had not only surpassed the much favored old toaster oven I'd liked so well, but also the design and quality of the many, many others I had looked at in all sorts of stores over the years, too. I'd expected I'd likely have to resign myself to settling for a toaster oven somewhat inferior to the one I had enjoyed using for many years, so opening the box to discover that this Toshiba was vastly superior to any others I had seen was a nearly transcendent experience. If you've suffered through trying to replace any good quality small kitchen appliance in the past decade or so, you'll certainly understand what I mean. All too often one has to end up settling for appliances that are more cheaply made, cease to work after only a few months, or don't work at all right out of the box! I'll be keeping the Toshiba brand in mind when making any future purchases, because I could not have been more pleased with the purchase of this toaster oven!

Best All Round Toaster Oven For The Price!
I had owned the previous version of this Toshiba toaster oven and it served me well for almost 6 years. As I live alone, I rarely use my full size oven and rely exclusively on my toaster oven. I've found this Toshiba toaster oven to be the best all round oven that can be used for almost everything. I like that you can set the cooking temperature as low as 150 degrees and as high as 450 degrees. I've turned out some excellent cookies as well as a succulent slow roasted prime rib. One thing I especially like is the blue lighted display. I can see at a glance the cooking mode, the temperature, and remaining cooking time. I did order and try two other toaster ovens and returned both. One was comically small, and the other had controls that you needed a flashlight to read. I do have a couple of comments regarding this new version of the Toshiba toaster oven. They added a rotisserie function to the oven, which I find to be useless, as well as overkill. I believe eight extra parts came with this oven to support the rotisserie function. I just basically threw those parts back in the box to take to storage. As this oven has a convection setting, an air fryer basket would have been far more appreciated than the rotisserie feature. That said, I did my research and gave two other toaster ovens a try, and ultimately returned to the Toshiba. One comment I would like to add is that there are guidelines on the front of the oven advising which shelf is appropriate for the food being cooked. Take heed of this information! If you place your food on the wrong shelf, you may find things over or under cooked! Also, if you are cooking more than one item, you can keep food warm by setting things on top of the oven. In conclusion, I find this Toshiba toaster oven to be the best in it's price range. If your vision isn't the best, you'll appreciate the lighted digital display. I'm looking forward to many more years of satisfied use from my Toshiba.

Great toaster over - would recommend
Great toaster over, good size, has lasted well over 5 years now without a single issue. We've tested it with an oven thermometer and the heat is accurate! Only downside is it doesn't do air frying like the one that's a little more expensive.

I’m satisfied with this toaster oven.
This is the same toaster oven previously offered by hOmeLabs (yes, that’s how they spelled it) and at a slightly lower price. I had been looking for a toaster oven with a rotisserie and in particular, for this model but they apparently no longer made it. I was excited to see Toshiba now offers it under their brand name. Pros: does just about everything it claims. For the price it can’t be beat. Would definitely recommend this toaster oven. Controls are super simple to use. It has numerous settings, there’s bound to be one for what you need. Cons: Directions are a bit weak. You kinda have to figure out how things go together (hint, little bump out on baking rack seems to work best facing the back of the oven) but I managed and I’m a dummy, so y’all should have no issues. This thing gets hot on the outside. Like hot enough that you don’t want anything that could potentially melt, touching it. In other words, it will burn you (just like a regular toaster)! It claims to handle up to a 5lb chicken on the rotisserie. Perhaps that’s true. The 5.2lb chicken I tried didn’t quite work out. The tips of the wings hit the elements and drip pan (and yes, I tied the legs and wings down). Also, the directions don’t show how to orient the drip pan when doing the rotisserie. If you set the baking rack on the lowest level with the drip pan, there’s no where near enough room for a 5lb bird. I had to rest the rack and drip pan on the lower elements to make room, and I’m really not fond of putting anything on the elements (even though the bottom elements don’t come on in the rotisserie mode). I ended up baking that chicken and it turned out beautifully. In the future I will use the rotisserie for game hens and turkey breasts. It claimed to cook a 12 inch pizza. By my measurements it’s 11-3/4 inches front to back inside. It may still cook a 12 inch pizza but if you plan to utilize a 12 inch pizza pan, it may not fit. You can only cook an item a maximum of 2 hours (in certain modes, like bake). That should be plenty, but some model of ovens let you select an infinite time if desired (I don’t see this as a big issue). Lesson learned: There is a “pizza mode” but it works best for fresh (unfrozen) pizzas. Frozen pizzas don’t get completely cooked (because in “Pizza mode”, it uses convection and the outside cooks too quickly). Frozen pizzas should be cooked using the typical “baking mode”. Although there are more cons than pros in my review, there is no such thing as a perfect appliance, but this one comes pretty close. I have no regrets about the purchase and would do it again.

Excellent Quality
Delivery was on time and packing box was well designed with syrofoam fit for the toaster. No damage. I have been using the oven for over a month and I am extremely satisfied. The oven element heats fast to the set temperature. I like the beeping sound when cooking settings are complete. Works perfectly! I know Toshiba's quality and expect the oven to last many years.

Very nice toaster oven and very pleased!
Small, Simple, and very easy to use. Looks very nice on our counter. The foot print is not that large and is not obtrusive. Tried toast first, and then muffins did a very nice job. I like that it can do up to 6 slices. Defrosting worked very well. Then I decided to use the rotisserie option, peppered pork loin was first and perfect in 1 hr 10 min. It was so juicy and sliced perfectly for sandwiches. Today a chicken is going in and can't wait to taste it. Have only had it for a week and no issues. What you get for the price is a nice little toaster oven. Have not tried the convection yet. I put a grill mates mat cut to size in the bottom and it cleans up so easy. Have been pleased with everything about this oven. All the positive reviews here helped me as I searched a read on many makes and models. Moving y BD toaster mini to my RV. I hope this helps you with your purchase if you decide. UPDATE: This little toaster oven is still going strong. I think the key to longevity is always keeping it clear. My wife and I are religious about it with this oven. We wipe off the elements with a hit wash cloth after it's cool. We also use a grill mat that I cut yo size to catch drippings. One the mat cools slide out scrape into garbage wash with soapy warm water. The metal tray we use when baking or toasting. This has been a gem for almost 6 years running. I might buy a spare just to have if this one ever dies. Hope this helps.

Not sure the pros outweigh the cons
We’ve had this toaster oven for over a year and use it almost daily. That said if I had to do buy a new one I’d like steer clear of this model Pros: Great at making toast & super easy to set how you like (although you do need to set it each time) Extra space in back means you really can heat a pizza in it Cooks very quickly when using the baking functions Cons: BEEPS ARE SO FREAKING LOUD Bottom liner / crumb catcher difficult to remove and clean Digital display is not intuitive with the dials to set it Toast has to be reset every time (it defaults to 4 slices which is not what we use). Details on the beeps/digital display & dials Imagine if your microwave beep was slightly higher pitched and 2-3x as loud and you’ll get an inkling of what using this oven is like. Using it in the morning to make toast is headache inducing. And it beeps when you turn it on/wake it, when you start it and then emits three long, loud beeps when it’s done so at least 5 loud obnoxious beeps each use. Have multiple people using it in the morning means that many more beeps. I’ve looked everywhere and there is no way to turn it off or down. Heck after having it a year my son & I took it apart hoping to put some electrical tape over the component only to find is was buried in the midst if the digital display panel and we couldn’t do anything about it. With the exception of the toast setting the dials to control the digital display are reversed - I.e. the dial to control the top option/time is the bottom one, and the dial to control the bottom option / temperature is top one. Even after a year this is still annoying.

Excelente horno! Precio, calidad, funciones!

Very powerful oven
I've been using toaster ovens for nearly two decades now. I do not own a regular toaster, as I prefer the versatility of a toaster oven which can cook/reheat food as well as toast bread. I've been using this one for over three months and I am extremely happy with the results. I love the fact that it's a digital oven and beeps loudly to warn that the food is ready. The big LCD screen makes it really easy to see what function you're on. The dials are big and easy to understand after a little time. Most importantly, the oven is super powerful and cooks food evenly and quickly. Toast especially is perfect depending on the darkness setting (I recommend starting lighter until you figure out what level you like your toast on), the convection oven works great and I love the defrost option. However, there are a lot of filler modes like pizza and cookies, which is just convection bake with a different title. One word of warning, the convection bake is so powerful, if you're baking make sure to use either parchment paper or a silicone baking mat as the metal tray gets really hot. Overall, it's a fantastic oven, especially for the price.

Excelente horno
Hay que usarlo varias veces para agarrarle el modo, calienta bien, el tiempo y la temperatura se seleccionan manual, aunque se calienta de la parte superior Toshiba debería mejorar el aislamiento para evitar perder el calor que ya generaste
