Fortunately, I used this a few months before the drought set it in; unfortunately all the patches as well as the rest of the lawn now look brown.Timing aside this was easy to apply needing a light rake over the worn out area and then sprinkle over the top. I also lightly tamped down the mixture to ensure contact with the soil.It took a bit longer than the prescribed 4 days for the first shoots to appear but daily watering over 10 days provided noticeable growth over I'd say 75% of the mixture I'd laid down. After a few more weeks half of the mixture was growing strongly and the other half was a bit patchy but that could be down to the poor soil my lawn covers.Overall I'd say it does work if well and constantly watered but it is expensive per sq m so use judicially.

Not a miracle but kinda works. It does help fill in bare patches, just not as fast or as thick as the box makes it look. Easy to spread, holds moisture well and you can see new growth starting after a bit of patience.Versatility is good — handy for dog spots, worn areas, edges of the lawn or anywhere that needs a quick repair. Keeping it damp makes a big difference, otherwise it dries out too quickly.For the price, it’s decent value — not perfect, but it does the job if you give it time.

In less than a week, the seed has sprouted. My female dog has caused lots of little bald patches so I bought this. I expected it to work, but not as quickly as it has. In abiut a week, the grass is sprouting and already an inch high. I'm sure it will quickly fill out too. I roughed up the existing soil a bit, sprinked a little bit on and then watered it in. It hasn't rained so most evenings I've put a bit of water onto each patch and when I watered today I was amazed to see it had sprouted so soon. I will definitely be buying this again.

After a week and a half none of the seeds have germinated. I followed the instructions carefully and kept it well watered. Seeds are still there, but nothing is happening. Waste of time and money.

This product is absolutely fantastic. I ordered it and received delivery on Saturday, May 23rd. I dug up and resoiled a large patch of my lawn, which I underestimated and ended up spending the entire day on. Fast forward to today, June 3rd, and the lawn is growing amazingly fast a few days ahead of schedule. I'm thoroughly impressed with how great this product is and can't recommend it enough. A big tip for large patches, make sure to dig well, twist the fork to open the soil, and remove all the hardened, broken soil. Then, add some topsoil on top for the best germination. For those reporting poor results, it's likely your soil preparation that needs improvement.

REFECTION DE LA PELOUSE

J’ai voulu tester ces semences. J’ai donc acheté en plus une boite de gazon de 1k de marque Vilmorin. Au bout d’une semaine, tout avait germé et commencer à pousser ( environ 5mm ) sans qu’aucune différence ne soit visible entre les 2 produits ( plantation effectuée côte à côte ). Actuellement, la levée se poursuit toujours sans différence. Comme l’un vaut le double de l’autre, je reste un peu perplexe. Peut-être que dans des conditions très particulières ( mais je ne saurais dire lesquelles ! ) une différence se fera remarquer…
