It is comfortable, straightforward and removes the faff of charging or pairing.The DPI button is useful, the shape feels good for desk use, and the cable makes it dependable when you just want the mouse to work every time. It is the sort of practical accessory that quietly does its job.My tip would be to try the DPI settings for a few minutes before deciding which feels best. Good value, reliable and five stars.

This mouse is probably the most comfortable I have used; and I have used many of them I can tell you!The hand naturally sits on the mouse with the thumb and little finger sitting comfortably in the moulded side recesses. The thumb recess has a non-slip finish that provides a positive control of the mouse. The result is the user not needing to grip the mouse but more guides it to the point of use.The index and middle fingers need no conscious positioning when the hand is placed on to the mouse. Again, they naturally sit over the functional buttons. A small move to the right by the index finger finds the scroll wheel, the action of which is smooth but still offering a ‘measured’ movement between detents.Pressing down on the scroll wheel activates the auto-scrolling feature, the speed of which is determined by the distance the pointer is vertically moved away from the on-screen image of the up/down arrows.Both the little finger and thumb sit comfortably in the moulded recesses on the sides of the mouse. The thumb recess has a non-slip finish that provides confidence and ultimate control of the mouse when navigating anywhere around the screen. Also within the thumb recess are two buttons that allow the user to navigate back to previous screens, particularly when using the internet browser. This saves clicking on the back and forward arrows at the top left of the screen. This feature is not a huge thing for me personally but I’m sure it would be considered a valuable feature to those who extensively navigate the internet.I must admit that the switch above the scroll wheel is not a showstopper for me as I failed to get it to do anything. Apparently it allows the user to change the DPI from 100 to 200. I’m not sure what this means! Forgive my ignorance.All-in-all this is a great product from ‘TECKNET’ and at the low price I paid, I’m extremely impressed with its design and functional value.

This is a great value mouse for the size and price.I've been using it for over a month now and am rather pleased with it.Just a couple of things let it down , but overall most things about it are very good.It's size is quite on the small size. I do own a few mice much smaller than it though. So really I'd like to class it in between medium and small.I do prefer medium and bigger mice in general , but never the less I did find it very comfortable despite it's smaller size.My hands around medium size or slightly smaller. So I am unsure if this would be comfortable for bigger hands.It does have quite a high hump though , despite it being a fairly small mouse , which is something I like also. This allows me to do either a palm or claw grip , rather comfortably despite it's size. (Although the bottom of your palm will probably be touching the mouse mat/table if you palm grip because of the smaller size of the mouse)Another great thing I like about this mouse is despite it small size , it does have a pretty good feeling of weight to it. There must have added some kind of weight inside the casing. Because I have other mouses that are a lot bigger than this but only feel like they weight half as much. Those mice feel completely hollow , compared to this one , which feel like you're handling something substantial.In my opinion this is one of the best things about the mouse. I am very happy with the weight to size ratio on this mouse. I wouldn't have expected it at this price.This amount of weight is great , because it means your pointer won't be zipping all around the screen as much , compared to the much lighter mice. You can still move the mouse pretty swiftly if you want though without too much effort , because it still glides across most surfaces effortless in my experience.There is also a groove for your thumb on one side with a rubber texture which enchances your comfort and grip.I have long term injury on my right thumb , so the shape of the groove on this side helps in not aggravating the injury that much.Next onto my favourite part of the mouse , the buttons.The main left and right buttons on this mouse , have a nice comfortable soft click to them.This is great for me , as I have an RSI injury on my right index finger too. The soft clicks are very easy and gentle on it.They are very easy to press and have short travel time.Even though they are soft clicks , they still have a satisfying sound to them , which is another thing I like about using mice in general too.The only bad thing about the main mouse button , is I find the right mouse button to be a little too sensitive.It seems that just the weight of resting my middle finger on the right mouse button , can sometimes cause a misclick , especially if moving the mouse.The right mouse button seems to take a lot less effort to click , in comparison to the left mouse button.I have to hold the mouse in a certain way to minimise the problem of accidentally misclicking.I am not sure if it's just my mouse that has this problem , or it's intended to be this way.But I have other mouses that don't have this problem.Since everything else on this mouse seems to be perfect in terms of quality control , I'm guessing I didn't get a bad unit.In any case I find the right mouse button way too sensitive on this mouse , which is an unfortunate bad point.Other buttons include a handy DPI switch , which switches between 1000 dpi and 2000 dpi.I kind of wish there were lower DPI settings , which would be great for certain game types. But I guess you can't really ask too much at this price point.I was able to game on RTS and MOBA games with 1000 dpi setting fairly well , by readjusting the way I play to just making smaller movements. Thankfully due to the weight of the mouse , it does keep the mouse grounded enough so my pointer isn't flying over the place , even with the lack of lower DPI settings.You can cope to use it as a gaming mouse too , although there is also still a risk of misclicking thanks to the sensitive right mouse button. Although it's not marketed as gaming mouse , so you really should use something else for gaming. But it's a great mouse for general use and other tasks on your PC.The scroll wheel is pretty good too. It's not too loose , not too tight. It doesn't take much effort to move and feels smooth enough. It's a nice middle ground for me , as far as scroll wheels go . It also has a rubber texture to it too.There are also couple of extra buttons just above the thumb groove. These are quite handy as they can be used to skip page forward or page back on your web browser. I find these buttons in a comfortable position if I use a palm grip. But unfortunately if I use a claw grip , one of the buttons are no longer in range , unless I reposition my thumb.The quality of DPI and extra side button buttons are reasonably good too , but for me the stars of the show are the soft but satisfying clicks of the main left/right mouse buttons and the overall weight/shape.The final thing I want to comment on it the build quality and materials. There is a feeling of fair quality with the plastics used in this mouse. Definitely better than some of the mice I have bought within the same price range from similar brands. It seems well constructed and put together , no signs of creaking yet after over a month's use.It doesn't feel flimsy in certain areas , like other mice I own at similar price points. It feel solid all round throughout it's whole casing/outer shell. I cannot really fault the build quality of the product , especially at this price point.The left side is rubber texture and the left side is matte plastic.The top of the mouse including it's main buttons are a smooth glossy plastic though.This is a major down point for me , as you can see and feel your sweat stains so much more easily on this glossy plastic.Also if your hands are a little clammy/sweat , the glossy mouse buttons tend to stick to your fingers slightly.Not a big deal I guess , but a bit of a minor annoyance from time to time.I had the impression I was going to get a grey matte finish from looking at the picture of the mouse on Amazon , but somehow I ended up with a glossy black plastic version instead ?I am not sure if the other colours are glossy plastic too. But they looked matte to me on the picture.I'd love to try a matte finish version of this if there is one.So yeah in summary , I do think this is a great well balanced comfortable mouse with a great weight for it's size and nice soft clicks.An excellent choice for general tasks on your PC and great price from TeckNet. (I got mine for under a tenner)Just a few changes would make it perfect in a future revision.I'm definitely quite interested in TeckNet now, if this level of quality is present in their other mice.I might try a gaming mouse from them next.I will update this review in the future if there are issues with lifespan and durability , but at the moment I'm pretty confident this mouse will last me a good while in relation to it's price point.Overall quite pleased and impressed with this mouse , a solid purchase if you're looking for a comfortable mouse that's on the smaller size.

Packaging:As a consumer I am becoming more and more conscious of the packaging of products; with pollution, climate change and sustainable sources of paper and other materials being a concern, I tend to try and avoid products that are packaged in a way that would suggest that the manufacturer is not trying to reduce environmental impact in what is usually (if not always) a much more trivial affair than the actual manufacturing process. A lot of companies use packaging which is excessive, not fully recyclable or that is just frustrating. This product shipped in, what is in my opinion, just the right amount of packaging. A fully recyclable cardboard box which opens easily but still keeps the content securely and safely. The box it shipped in was sized so as to be just big enough to fit the mouse (wrapped in a small bit of bubble-wrap; perhaps future incarnations may swap this out for shredded paper or something even more recyclable, but since I can always use bubble-wrap for other things, this was fine).In the box:Apart from the mouse, the box also contained a warrantee card and a minimalist (but fully comprehensive) user manual. Again, it was nice to find that waste was kept to a minimum – no dozens of pages of warrantee and other information (which is usually tossed in the bin anyway). The user guide is only in English but with links to online alternative language versions.Setup and Use:This was pretty straightforward. I got this mouse as a (temporary) replacement for my Logitech G500 as it was starting to have disconnection issues which, after all manner of trouble-shooting, lead me to the conclusion that the mouse which I had been using for close to 6 years now was finally on the way out.After removing all the Logitech mouse software and rebooting my PC, I simply plugged this mouse in; I could start using it right away without the need to download drivers or software, so setup was really a zero-issue affair.The mouse is ergonomically shaped and fits nicely in my hand; it is a little smaller than my G500, but even with my fairly big hand, it sits comfortably in my grip (mileage may vary if your hands are really big). The thumb-side of the mouse (which is right-handed design) has a comfortable, non-slip rubber edge which is really nice to the touch.It comes with a switch that flicks between 1000DPI and 2000DPI. I am currently using it on 1000DPI (the default) as the mouse is a lot lighter than my G500 and so it is pretty sensitive without the need to bump up the resolution. However, once I get more accustomed to this specific mouse, I may bump DPI up at some point. However, the mouse is really responsive and so far it has had no issues beyond those you would expect when getting used to a new piece of hardware after years of using something else. From a technical perspective, it just works. Great.Tips:The mouse is incredibly light and so you may find that if you are using it on a very smooth surface, the natural coil in the cable (caused by how it was folded when it was packaged) may actually pull on the mouse when you let go of it. I am using a Razer Destructor gaming mousepad and I found that this surface is way too slippery for using this mouse (at least in pristine condition while the coasters under the mouse are new). Each time I let it go, the natural coil in the cable would cause it to start being dragged along, so managing to keep the mouse pointer in place after letting go of the mouse was a bit of a drag. I found, however, that just using the mouse directly on the wooden desktop of my Ikea desk worked perfectly fine, as did turning over my mousepad and using the mouse on the non-skid rubbery surface - it really just needs a little more friction. It may also be a good idea to let the mouse hang gently by the entire length of its cable overnight to let the transit-induced kink work itself out naturally before using it; this should help to prevent what I like to call “cable-drag” on the mouse. The straighter you can get the cable, the less pull there should be on the mouse when you let go of it.I specifically mention the above because I suspect that a lot of people may unfairly mark down the mouse for this when, in fairness, this is really a non-issue and something that does not reflect on the quality of the equipment. I suspect that as the coasters of the mouse take some wear over time, I will be able to go back to using the correct side of my mousepad.Conclusion:For its price, I was very pleasantly surprised by the mouse. It has a solid design and, despite it being very light, it does not feel like a budget mouse. It is responsive, seems to be fully compatible with Windows 10 and the buttons offer a satisfying action. It also offers a good number of buttons which are well-spaced and comfortably located. Given how light and responsive it is, it took a bit of getting used to, but this is really more due to having used a much heavier G500 for many years. However, I have been using it for 2 days now and I am already starting to feel every bit as proficient with this mouse as I have with my previous one. Where I originally got it as a temporary replacement with the eye on buying a more premium device when I have had time to make up my mind, I might just end up using this as my standard device going forward indefinitely. If you don’t need a lot of bells and whistles and custom software, this is actually a fabulous mouse for the price. I can recommend it without reservation.

This mouse is really one of the best mice I have ever used in my life and it costs less than a £10. Let me start with saying that the mouse is very well built for something of that price, plastic doesn’t feel cheap and the rubber on scroll feels quite nice. Holding the mouse is also quite nice, I’m using a claw grip and didn’t have any problems, no pain after long usage. It is on the smaller side, so it might not be as comfortable with bigger hands.Mouse includes 3 DPI settings with highest being 2000dpi. It also has two additional buttons on the left side, so they’re just under your thumb, assuming you’re right-handed. Those can be used as shortcuts to go back and forth websites in the web browser or assigned to some function in games.Buttons click very nicely, middle mouse button feels a bit squishy and not as “clicky”, but that might be just my one, it doesn’t bother me that much and I assume it will many people.Mouse moves smoothly across most surfaces that people use for their mice, like mouse mat or just a desk. Different DPI settings will help you customise it to your liking.Wire is quite long and good quality, so it should last a long time and should be able to reach behind your desk to your computer.Overall it is an amazing mouse that does what every mouse should do and does that very well, especially for that price. I would recommend that mouse to anyone who’s looking for a cheap mouse for their office or even basic gaming.

For a very cheap mouse I’m very surprised at the durability of this. Connects via the cable so no worry of battery life. The mouse is very precise and seems sturdy.

I have purchased a couple of Tecknet products earlier in the year and am very happy with them, I have been impressed with both the quality and the design of both products, they both have 2 year warranty, this mouse at £6.95, also is the same.It's an optical mouse (A bright red light shines out of the bottom) that comes in Black/Grey, and has a 1.5m wire (in my opinion all the best mice are wired!) it has a nice feel in your hand, with a rubber pad under your thumb, two buttons (forward/backward) can easily be manipulated with your thumb, with the normal left,right and wheel/middle buttons being on top, just behind the wheel is a DPI button (1000 dpi/2000 dpi), dpi is NOT an indication of accuracy, it is the number of times your mouse notifies the computer of its position per inch moved, it relates to how sensitive the mouse is when moved. The buttons give a satisfying soft click and are very responsive with no drifting of the cursor while pressing.The mouse does NOT come with any configuration software, it is plug and play ready straight out of the box.I ordered on the 2 Dec. and it arrived on the 5 Dec. I quickly opened the box and plugged it in, turned on my PC and was ready to go within 60 seconds, really easy, I have a double sided metal mouse mat/pad, and it works on both sides, it works on the desktop itself, I have a sheet of glass on my desk, it works perfectly on that, no jerks or judders.As a basic windows user, this mouse is perfect, using it on steam to play games, it is still a faultless product, I have used this playing games for about 36 hours so far (shameful, I know!) and it is a very comfortable design, the following morning I had no wrist or finger strain after a solid 6 hours playing Doom.I have added one photo, The S2 is resting on currency to give a guide to the size of the mouse.

I've been using this mouse for a couple weeks now and I'm reasonably impressed.This mouse is nothing revolutionary, but for the price, it offers a surprising amount of functionality. The size is comfortable in the hands without being too large for a travel laptop mouse, and unlike many similarly priced mice it offers 6 buttons (left and right click, scroll wheel click, backwards and forwards buttons and a DPI change button). The build quality feels reasonably solid and I expect it will last a good few years, and with a rubber grip on the left side, feels grippy in the hand. In my time using it I noticed no cursor jumps and there seems to be no noticeable mouse acceleration once Windows "Enhance pointer precision" option is turned off.My only real problem with this mouse is its DPI (dots per inch or how far the mouse moves onscreen for every physical inch moved). Other similarly priced mice tend to be between 800-1000 DPI, while this mouse can toggle between 1000 and 2000 DPI. However, I still find this far too low, with my desktop mouse being set to 4200 DPI.Just a couple other things to note as well: firstly, the product description seems to be for the wireless version of this mouse. This is the wired model as described in the title. Secondly, this mouse is designed for use in the right hand with it being angled to the right with the back and forward buttons on the left. Just something to keep in mind for left handed users.Overall, I'm reasonably happy with this mouse as a compact and cheap travel/laptop mouse or a casual desktop mouse, although I personally would go with something a bit more premium for all day, every day desktop use or for gaming.

Ero alla ricerca di un mouse wired economico per il mio portatile...il più piccolo possibile, ma con rotella e tasti laterali per navigare tra le pagine e se possibile anche ergonomico, e mi sono imbattuto in questo Tecknet che, incredibilmente, soddisfa tutte le mie richieste .Le plastiche e gli altri materiali sembrano essere di buona qualità, la precisione nel movimento idem (molto comodo poter selezionare i DPI tramite l'apposito tastino dietro la rotella). Non è sicuramente un mouse silenzioso, ma non fa neanche un rumore esagerato...stiamo pur sempre parlando di un mouse da 12 euro!Un'altra caratteristica molto importante da segnalare è che viene riconosciuto senza alcun problema da Windows 10 e funziona da subito, senza dover installare alcun driver.Aggiungo alle sue qualità l'impugnatura molto comoda anche per chi ha mani grandi.In conclusione: per 12 euro credo sia difficile trovare di meglio e ne consiglio caldamente l'acquisto.

I don't usually give reviews instantly but this is exceptional omg all these years with awful mouses & now this feels like memory foam when clicking, movement is so comforting, genuinely shocked at how good this is. Iv had €80 gaming mouses that don't even compare to this!! Please if you're reading this you have to give it a shot. 10/10 absolutely delighted with it!!
