Makes a daunting task straightforward
I discovered that I had had dust on the sensor of my Sony a6000 camera and after a bit of research decided to try these. To establish the problem I took photos of my white kitchen wall at f/22 and there were several spots. The swabs arrived quickly and well packaged. 14 swabs and plenty of liquid. I used the first swab as a test on my mobile just to get the feel of it, then took the plunge. I was daunted but comfortable that I had worked out what to do and sometimes you just have to go for it.It was easy to drop a couple of drops of liquid on the swab then draw it across the sensor and then using the other side of the swab draw it back. I then took another photo of my white wall and most of the dust was gone. I then repeated a number of times, sometimes with liquid and sometimes dry and took a photo every time. Obviously you can only use each each swab once so you do go through a few. I ended up with a stubborn spot and it took a few goes but eventually I took a photo proving my sensor was as clean as I could get it and I couldn't see any spots at all.Given that my sensor was quite dirty it and it was my first ever try, it may not be that surprising that I used 12 of the 14 swabs but hardly any of the liquid. However, for at least half the price of a professional job and no hassle traveling or waiting, my sensor is perfectly clean.I am impressed how straightforward it was even for a first timer and now realise it is not a job to worry about in the future. One to be careful with and to take time over but not difficult. Pleased I tried and have ordered more swabs without the liquid for future cleaning.Recommended.

Not as scary as you might think
Probably, like me, you are looking at this product, and thinking “should I? is the risk worth it?”I have an five year old, very used, approx 170K photos taken, fujifilm mirrorless camera with interchangeable lenses, that had so much dust and dots on the sensor, they occasionally looked like dark stars in a blue sky. I’d spend several minutes just trying to heal them in lightroom, and as soon as i did anything with the sky, or bright colours, more dots and dust would show up. Trying to fix this, and the time taken, is frustrating to say the leastI’ve only used this product once, but all those dots and dust appear to have now gone, and the camera has gone out on a cold day and took another 200+ pictures, with no obvious ill effect. The skies are clear, and upon review in lightroom, there appear to be no obvious issues that need to be healedWould I use this product on a relatively new camera? Possibly no. I don’t know enough about camera cleaning for me to know if i’m doing long term good or harm here. But to refresh an old camera, bring the sensor back to clarity and clearness, rather than spending thousands on a new camera, then I am definitely happy with this product so far.Note - do some research into how to do home sensor cleaning properly before you try this. I have seen guides that recommend turning off inbody image stabilisation, so as to protect that mechanism when cleaning the sensor. There may be other recommendations out there too

First Sensor Cleaner
This was my first time to clean my sensor and I am glad I took the plunge, this kit definitely cleaned up some spots I was seeing in my photos so very good purchase. Easy to use, just follow the instructions, which while basic, tell you all you need to know. Or watch a youtube video to see what to do. I got the APS-C size and the only minor criticism is that the applicator stick's width wasn't quite wide enough to do my Canon APS-C sensor in one sweep. I had to use two sticks to fully get to the edges. But other than that, great!

Absolutely fantastic, cleans grime and dust
I bought a a6400 off ebay and although it was brand new, it had a smudge and some dust on the sensor, as though someone had touched it with a finger. I was terrified it wouldnt come off, as it was quite prominent and looked greasy. However, these cleaned it PERFECTLY. Nothing was left on the sensor - no micro scratches, no dust, no grease. The pricing could be a bit better but it's worth it to clean your sensor at least once.I'd recommend watching some videos online on how to correctly clean a sensor with a cleaning kit like this - they're short and demonstrate how to do it correctly. On a side note, the box says to use one or two drops per brush - I found that to clean off the greasy mark I had to use 3-4 drops. But there's still plenty of liquid left - even though I spilled quite a bit (don't know how, probably just accidentally squeezed too hard). It dries very fast, within a matter of seconds. Each brush comes individually sealed to make sure there's no dirt on it. Great product.

Easy to use. Follow the instructions to the letter.
The kit worked just fine. The swabs are slightly narrower than the EOS20D sensor it was used on but very easy to use. I was very cautious about touching the sensor but if you follow the instructions and use a light touch it works well.Hold the cleaning fluid bottle slightly above the swab so that you can check you only get two drops of liquid onto the swab. This followed an internal debate about was it dirt or was the sensor faulty. Luckily just dirt.

Excellent product and result
Very quick delivery and actually arrived well packaged a day before its estimated delivery date. This was to be the first time I had attempted to clean a DSLR sensor myself so I was a little apprehensive however having read the various customer reviews on a variety of kits etc for the task on Amazon I settled on this product as it had good reviews and was what I thought to be good value for money. This product comes with instructions and having read them and gathered the courage for the task ahead was amazed at how simple it was to accomplish taking next to no time to actually carefully clean the sensor itself with the pad. I then took test shots with the camera and all dust etc had been successfully removed. I used two swabs for the task on this occassion so have ample fluid and swabs left for future cleans.Brilliant product and result thank you UES !I would be more than happy to use this company and product again or recommend them to others.NB/ Whilst reading the reviews prior to purchasing this product I noticed some people had said it was difficult to apply the recommended two dropsof cleaning fluid to the cleaning swab as there was no small hole in the fluid bottle to allow this to be done. This is definitely incorrect as once you unscrew and remove the lid of the cleaning fluid bottle there is another seal in place which once carefully removed reveals a final bottle seal that does indeed have a small hole to dispense the fluid in drops through it onto the swab.

Works like a treat
Worked like a treat! My cameras sensor had some stubborn dust particles on it blowing would not remove and this got rid of it. Very straightforward to use and the swabs match the size of the sensor (so if you have a full frame camera you need to buy the equivalent product for your sensor).I read other reviews that said applying the two drops of solution required to the swab was hard as the solution bottle had a wide opening. No idea what went wrong there because the one I received had a dropper on the end similar to what you would see with eye drops. So applying the correct amount of solution was very easy. See photo.Note the dust on my cameras sensor only showed up when photographing aircraft against a bright sky. I was using a 300mm lens at F16 & F22 as I was setting a slow shutter speed to get the propellers to blur and it was then the dust emerged from hiding. Setting such small apertures on wide angle lenses does not show it up the same. I believe this has something to do with the angle the light hits the sensor. With telephotos it'sarriving at the almost the vertical if you see what I mean whereas not so with wider angles. So it's not necessarily a very large depth of field that will show up the dust.So if you want to see how much dust is on your sensor my tip is fit a long lens, set a small aperture and take a photo of a bright sky. (Then order of these kits to clean your sensor!).

Brilliant!
I had a smudge on my sensor and I stupidly tried to remove it with a microfiber cloth and blowing on it. Not only did I make the smudge worse but i also transferred (no exaggeration) about 100 specs of dust, no matter what I did I couldn't remove them. I used the lightroom - visualize spots on a plain white image and it looked like it was snowing.Ordered this kit which arrived next day and works even better than I imagined. It actually removed every single spec of dust off the sensor, it also removed the smudges and it looks brand new!Excellent piece of kit and worth every penny. If you have dusts or hairs, this combined with a blower is all you will ever need.5 Stars absolutely fantastic!

Senza timore.

Didn't work for me
Maybe mine needed deep cleaning, maybe I wasn't proficient enough at it, who knows, since a couple of the other reviews had better results. I used up quite a number of sticks but the sensor wasn't even half cleaned. Ended up bringing it to a service. At least no damage to the sensor at all so that's good to know.
