Would this show positive the day after ovulation? Im new to this and not sure when i ovulate. Today is day 15. Id assumed id get a positive 😔

No it would not. This tests detect the hormone that it is normally 12-24h before ovulation

does the line get darker closer to ovulation because I have got a faint second line which is nearly as dark as the first line?

The test line does get darker as you near ovulation. When you're about to ovulate the test line will either be the same colour as the control line or darker. If the colour of the test line is fainter than the control line you haven't yet ovulated.

Hi a faint line is neg always have a bit of lh in r pee. it has to be nearly as dark as control line to be possitve. You will see it when it happens. First time i used i was the same had faint lines an then they seemed a bit darker but no where near control lines. I test at 2pm an 8pm daily i start tasting on cycle day 9 an normally get a positive on 13 day an ovulate on 14
