Recommended by my dentist for extra enamel protection, and it’s easily the best daily rinse I’ve used. Because it’s alcohol-free, it doesn’t have that aggressive, stinging burn that leaves your mouth feeling stripped. Instead, it has a pleasant, mild mint flavour that leaves things feeling fresh. The 400ml bottle lasts a decent amount of time, and it’s a reassuring extra step for cavity prevention if you want something gentler on sensitive gums.

I got this after being recommended it by the dentist - I’ve unfortunately had a lot of dental issues in my life and try to buy decent stuff to help keep on top of things when possible. This one doesn’t burn when you use it unlike some other mouth washes due to it being alcohol free and it tastes quite pleasant. The fluoride formula is clinically proven for cavity protection, and I try to use it everyday. It gives me peace of mind knowing it’s helping to prevent tooth decay while keeping my breath fresh. At 400ml, the bottle lasts quite a while, even with regular use. It’s an easy extra step to add after brushing, and I appreciate how gentle it feels on my gums. If you have read Dr Ellie's Complete Mouthcare system (popular youtuber), you will know that she recommends three mouthwashes, first Ultradex, then you brush your teeth, then Listerine Cool Mint Mouthwash, then ACT. According to whichwayhow dot com which evaluated her system, Colgate Fluorigard Fluoride Rinse is an excellent replacement for ACT, which is not available in shops in the UK, and very expensive online and/or by import. I have been using it as part of the system for over a year and find it very effective in maintaining the health of my teeth and gums. It doesn't have a 'strong' taste, or bite, like Listerine, and is great at restoring the Ph balance to your mouth after using Listerine. There's a good reason you see it lining many dentist's surgeries! Highly recommend this excellent product.

I really like this mouthwash. It’s alcohol-free, so there’s no burning sensation, and the mint flavour is fresh but not overpowering. It leaves my mouth feeling clean and helps protect enamel without drying out my mouth. Great for daily use and ideal if you want fluoride benefits without harsh ingredients.

Decent product (No alcohol burn), but it is relatively low on the fluoride (225 ppm). Using this after you brush your teeth with regular toothpaste (~1450 ppm fluoride) will actually leave you at more risk of cavities, etc. Think of this mouthwash as more of a breath freshener for after meals rather than something to use after brushing your teeth in the morning and evening.
