SUCH A SIMPLE PRODUCT BUT SO EFFECTIVE IN GETTING RID OF A SINUS INFECTION FAST!
Having been unable to shake off a sinus infection that I'd had for at least 2 months, I decided to look into natural remedies to avoid potential side effects from medication. I decided to do a mixture of Olbas oil steaming (bowl of boiling water with a few drops of the oil, then put a towel over your head and inhale for about 10 mins) and nasal rinsing. After dissolving the sachet of saline solution I added 5-10 drops of colloidal silver, as that miraculous stuff is great at getting rid of nasty pathogens - being antibacterial, anti fungal etc. With regard to actually rinsing, the idea squeezing water up one's nostril isn't a particularly appealing one and I was a little irrationally nervous about whether the water would actually come out of my other nostril or whether it would somehow 'leak' into my brain (ridiculous I know!) but it all went fine. I did the rinsing for four days (and the Olbas oil for two) and my sinus infection was gone! So this bottle, whilst I think it should be cheaper, is worth the money as it really works!

Excellent, wouldn't be without it!
Amazing product, after years of issues with my sinus and very irritating post-nasal drip (particularly after exposure to certain allergens like paint fumes, renovations / house dust) which usually ends up in me having a bad bout of sinusitis, this wonderful product allows me to flush away the allergens causing my allergic reactions. I chose this product over a netipot because I liked the idea of being able to squirt the nasal rinse up without having to tip my head in weird positions. It's a bit weird the first time you do it but after a couple of times you get used to it and its actually quite soothing. you don't need to buy the powder sachets separately as you get a decent number with the squeezie. I have learnt through using this not to have the pre-boiled (cooling) water too hot or too cold and when I've finished squirting, to remove any excess water in my sinus, I blow my nose very very carefully then tip my head completely forward (as if touching toes) and when I bring it back up, the residual rinse comes out. Doing this means I don't get unexpected dribbles from my nose 5 or 10 minutes after use! I've found that if I don't use this product on a daily basis, I start to feel stuffy and my symptoms start to creep back particularly when I'm in contact with my usual allergens.

Works well for this sinusitus sufferer
This is a silicone container with plastic cap and 'soft' nose cone After a few attempts easy to use and noticeable effectiveness at relieving sinusitus - Water should flow in one nostil and ......out of the other Good size capacity for applying to both nostrils and easy to apply - just hold end tip to nostril - Does not have to get poked up! The Good : Bottle shape makes applying very easy as you hold in palm of hand and gently apply pressure IMO easier than a standard upright bottle type - almost gets it a 5* rating Much better and certainly more effective than taking medicines for this user anyway. Comes with 50 saline sachets - Important that these have correct salinity and a tad of bicarbonate Bottle can be heated in microwave as silicone , but important to get temperature to lukewarm - Hot water is not a good idea . CONS: Cap that screws to bottle can be easily be mis -threaded Too hot a bottle with hot water makes bottle extremely pliable and difficult to handle All in all a great buy and really effective

Only ok, not a magic fix but gives some relief.
First use was somewhat traumatic; when you're congested and struggling to breathe, then have saltwater trickling down the back of your throat, it's not especially pleasant. Wasn't until blowing my nose afterwards that I realized how much had been cleared. Things felt clear too, though not in any zen-like way that some neti pot zealots rave about, just in the obvious physical (mucus clearing) way. All in all, provides the same relief as a hot, steamy shower, but without the comfort. I'm not converted but I'm not averse to it either. Decent price for this kit for a starter as it comes with packets of the solution prepared so you just add water.

Expensive for what it is but I still recommend this
What this is is basically a squeezee plastic bottle with a rubber plug on the top. The chemicals included are common salt and sodium bicarbonate. So, you could probably get the component parts for this, if you don't have them already, for a fraction of the cost. Having said that, sometimes it's worth paying for the finished package and this is one of those times, at least for me. This year, I have had a permanently blocked sinus - it was though something alien was stuck right at the back of my nose - and nothing would shift it. Nothing serious or life threatening, but coupled with another completely separate minor ailment, I was really fed up. I was prepared to try anything and was getting to the point of going to the doctor to see if there was a polyp that needed removing. I even came close to buying an electric aspirator. Anyway, I tried a kind of DIY method of sinus irrigation using a salt solution, very similar in set up to the Squip, but without the nasal plug. It gave some relief but not enough. So I started to look for nasal irrigation systems, including battery operated ones. In the end, I decided to get this product. On first receipt, the reaction is disappointment. Why have I paid over the odds for a plastic bottle and some small packs of salt? After you use it, you get the answer to that question. It is well designed ergonomically. It is easy to use in both nostrils and the volume of the bottle is just about right for one nasal irrigation. The plug ensures that there is sufficient, controllable pressure to push the saline solution right round the sinuses and out the other nostril. In short, the user is able to have total control over flow and pressure. Just take it easy until you get the hang of it otherwise you might put too much pressure on the ear canal which can be uncomfortable. Finally, be warned. Nasal irrigation, I would guess, is not a particularly pleasant experience for most people. Me certainly. It is a very messy procedure with water shooting out of the open nostril, sometimes in an unexpected way. Personally, I am prepared to put up with in return for unblocked sinuses. All in all, I am happy with this product. It definitely works for me.

works really well - recommended
Have just bought my second one of these after realising I had been using the original one for probably far longer than recommended! In between, I had switched to a rival bottle system but I haven't found that anywhere near as good as the Squeezie. This is due to the shape of the bottle and the size of the tip. I like the angle you need to tilt this one at (as opposed to rivals that are conventional straight up bottle shapes) as you can get every last drop of solution out. Also the tip is narrower so delivers more slowly and seems much more beneficial than the other type of bottle where one small squeeze delivered most of the bottle in one go! I tend to suffer a lot from sinus problems, bit I think in the last year of using neti rinsing it has been much better. I tend to use once a day for maintenance, then twice a day if I have a cold or sinus problems. I also advocate not buying the sachets if you always use the neti system at home - I buy a pot/bag of salt and use that - works out cheaper and is very reliable. But the sachets are good if you are away from home.

Made me feel worse
Quick delivery. I was so excited after the many, many positive reviews however this made my sinus issues worse. This may because of my sinus' however. The first time I used it clearer 1 of my nostrils however the other remained blocked. I continued for 4 more days however both my sinus appeared to be much much worse after use. I'm sticking to Llyods Allergy relief (two probs that go up your nose), Vicks nasal stick and antihistamines.

Hay fever fixer!
I bought this for my partner who suffers from hay fever. As he is an inexperienced user I wanted something that would be easy as possible for him to use. Especially as he was so skeptical. The free saline packets means he doesn't have to worry about measuring out any solution. He's using it every couple of days do they should last him a couple of months. Its quick and easy for him to use and the squeeze mechanism is better (i think) for novices than a free flow option. Nasal irrigation in general is a great help for reliving symptoms of general 'stuffiness' but particularly good for getting rid of residual pollen trapped in the sinuses. He still takes hay fever tablets but they are more effective when used in conjunction with this. Great product and I will probably be buying one for myself soon.

La perilla es de silicona y permite oprimirla con facilidad para impulsar el lavado de la fosa nasal. Muy recomendable. Viene con sobrecitos de sal para poner al agua.

Great quality and easy to use
I've been using NeilMed for at least 15 years, and I'm so glad they made this silicone version instead of the plastic bottle. The other bottle is handy, but this one works just as well, is easier to clean, and I don't have to feel nervous about microplastics. I find it much easier to use than a traditional neti pot.

Must have for the whole family!!
We LOVE these bottles! By far, it’s the best shape for nasal irrigation for the whole family. It’s easy to use and to clean. We love that the whole body is made out of silicone and there’s no little pieces or crevices to sanitize. The combo with the salt packages had an amazing price! From kids to adults, everyone in our household has one and is happy to use it!
