I have been using these now without issues for about 5 months. They work perfectly with Elfcam fibre and GiGaPlus switches. They don't get hot and have worked without issues from installation. Getting close to max expected connection speed. They seem very well built and the connector clip feels sturdy. A little pricey but worth it for the reliability.

Still on the testing phase of my home network Connecting to my zyxel unmanaged and managed switch with my fibre connection and getting a 10Gb link up and running the sfp+ multimode modules worked fantastic with my 20 meter om4 fibre cable Will be ordering another pair for my other link in the future

Works fine with Ubiquiti switches. I needed an 8m run and originally tried a DAC as they are the most power efficient but at that length the coax is thick and actually did not work.. These work great with a premade fibre which was easier to pull than the thick DAC. I don't have exact power measurement on my SFP+ ports but the whole switch drew <3w more than with a DAC and unlike a 10BaseT these don't get scalding hot so I am guessing are pretty efficient.

I've a pair of budget web managed switches, dual 10Gbps SFP+ cages and 4x 2.5Gpbs ethernets. One upstairs and one downstairs with a 25m 10Gbps duplex multimode fibre run between them. These SR (short reach) optics are perfect for them. I plugged the SFP+ in, and they just worked. Pings over the LAN are sub 1ms and 100% reliable, perfect. Note: Certain devices require registered/vendor specific SFPs, the large enterprise network device vendors, but for Netgear, Asus, D-Link etc these should be fine.

Perfect to use on Ubiquity devices

SR SFP+ optics are pretty much a commodity item, but normally an oddly expensive one. I thought my old employer was getting a great deal for ONE SFP+ module for a little less than the cost here of four. Three of them have worked reliably for me for a couple of months, and I've got a fourth for a spare.

Con poco di più, ti fai un sistema potente, stabile e riservato.

Ich setze diese 10Gtek 10GBASE-SR SFP+ Module in mehreren Zyxel-Switches ein und kann sie uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Die Module wurden sofort erkannt, kein Codieren, kein Override und keine Anpassung notwendig. Einstecken, Link kommt hoch, fertig – genau so muss ein SFP+ funktionieren. Im Einsatz mit LC-LC-Multimode-Kabeln (OM3/OM4) laufen die Verbindungen stabil mit voller Bandbreite. Es gibt keine Link-Flaps, keine Paketverluste und keine sporadischen Aussetzer. Auch bei höherer Last bleibt die Verbindung konstant stabil, was gerade bei Storage-Traffic, Backups oder VM-Traffic entscheidend ist. Die Verarbeitung ist sauber, die Module sitzen fest im Cage, nichts wackelt. Die Verriegelung funktioniert einwandfrei und die Steckzyklen zeigen bislang keinerlei Verschleiß. Die Temperaturentwicklung ist unauffällig, die Module werden handwarm, aber bleiben klar im grünen Bereich. Wer teure Markenmodule umgehen will, ohne Kompromisse bei Stabilität oder Kompatibilität einzugehen, ist hier richtig. Für Homelabs, KMU-Infrastruktur oder professionelle Umgebungen mit Zyxel-Hardware eine sehr gute und preislich attraktive Lösung. Ich würde diese Module jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Sous Windows 11, j'approche les 10GB effectifs lors de la copie de gros fichiers Sous Win11 virtualisé avec Proxmox le débit descend à 5 ou 6 GB / seconde, ce qui reste très confortable... D'un côté un pc avec une carte 10Gtek / puce Intel intégrant deux ports sfp+, de l'autre un PC de 2019 avec un boîtier USBC intégrant un emplacement SFP+. les deux machines communiquent via un switch SFP+
