This is a great little light. We use it in our hallway outside our daughter's room, and it gives just the right amount of glow. I love that you just plug it in and leave it; you don't have to worry about turning it on or off. It's also nice and slim, so it doesn't get in the way when walking past.

Only tested it out once so far, and at first thought the sensor wasn't working like some other reviews mentioned, because it didn't seem to turn off on my dark landing. However on testing in various locations, it seems that the sensor does work but perhaps is a bit 'sensitive' - it needed a high amount of natural sunlight to turn off and at which point stayed off if the brightness level was sustained with artificial light. For what I wanted it isn't ideal but it does the job so will keep it as I need a little light on the landing. It's not too bright but lights up the floor enough so we can see where we're going at night.
