SPARES2GO Universal Extendable Adjustable Oven Shelf with Locking Arms

Only 1 shelf & 1 grillpan in Smeg cooker that came with new build house so have always struggled for Christmas Day cooking. Had tons of party food to cook this year so thought I’d try 2 of these bad boys to see if they’d save the day, me getting totally frustrated & stop everyone having to get lukewarm food in dribs & drabs. What a lifesaver!!! Absolutely love them & they definitely do what’s on the tin. We cooked masses of party food in one go saving electricity, time & the usual hassle. The shelves are adequately sturdy & expanded to fit cooker perfectly with the built in screws & although they are not as deep as existing shelf this didn’t present any problems as we had food on trays. I’m going to keep these new ones as extras & use the existing shelf that came with cooker for everyday as it gets a fair battering pulling it in & out of oven regularly & I don’t know how often (if ever) you would have to readjust the screws on the news ones when in daily use to keep them firmly fitting the cooker. Can happily recommend these & I know ours will be getting put to good use every time we need the extra cooking area. Really useful item!!

It is good that it can extent for use in the oven it has a little nut on it to tighten up the extension rack. The shelf fits well I use it as a bottom rack myself as it can stay in place for me, as at most racks they are difficult to clean not unless you clean after every use.

Does work but seems a bit flimsy

Purchased this shelf for the oven in our caravan as it only ever had one shelf. It took a while to find one that would fit as they are not standard sized ovens in caravans, but smaller. Saw this and although was slightly worried with the reviews, I needn’t have been. It is very easy to clean, fits in the oven perfectly and is very stable. It was OK value for money and is capable of doing what it was designed for. It’s been in the oven a few months now with heavy use from both us and our guests and no problems have arisen. Highly recommended.

This shelf is dangerous. Huge gaps at the sides when extended to fit a standard size oven rendering a quarter of the shelf at each side unusable. It's also not very deep. The nuts which supposedly tighten to hold the extended sides in place do absolutely nothing! I received it yesterday and tested it with an empty (thank goodness) oval roasting tin and the extended sides collapsed dropping it onto the oven floor. Had it been full of food/hot fat it would definitely have caused injury. In a standard oven it was nowhere near fully extended which demonstrates just how flimsy this shelf is. I will be returning it ASAP.

Bought as a genuine one is not available for my fridge. Doesn’t fit exactly and adjusting it to fit does leave gaps in the shelf, but not a major issue and does the job for a reasonable price

I got this for my mobile home oven as it only had one shelf. Was perfect!

The strength & rigidity of the product isn’t the greatest - but it performs its duty as advertised, and help me with a crooked oven, so I give it 5 stars.

Ce n'est pas très solide. Ça peut dépanner, mais plus votre four est grand, moins ce sera solide. Je ne ferais pas cuire une dinde là dessus. En même temps si vous n'avez rien d'autres c'est déjà mieux que rien.

I did not receive the item pictured. What I received was a very small item with a limited range of extension and different fittings to the item in the advertisement. Even when extended fully, it was around 6 inches away from fitting a normal sized oven. Absolutely not universal.
