Emboss Ink Pad Clear

This is a repeat purchase for me. Tsukineko are a trusted brand and I have never had a problem with any of their products. This is a full size clear coloured ink embossing pad. It contains water soluble ink which is slow drying. I use mine most of the time for prepping new silicone stamps to get the ink to stamp better and it is easy to use and perfect for the job. I do very little embossing but have tried this on a few projects and it seemed up to the job, though I am no expert. I read some other reviews that said this was not wet enough, and I can only think it must have been stored incorrectly before or after purchase as my current pad is two years old and still quite 'juicy'. You can buy bottle of top up ink to refill which minimises waste of the packaging. Very satisfied customer and would 100% recommend.

I was expecting this to be 'just okay', given the price, but I was pleasantly surprised! It stuck my embossing powders down well on a variety of different media. The most impressive was some bizarrely super-hungry black card - the embossing pen I usually use was absorbed pretty much instantly, but this sat on top and did the job really well. It's not quite *as* good as the leading brands, but it definitely stands up to it and is a fantastic alternative. I don't use mine too much, so a slightly cheaper option is really important. Love it!

Excellent to use for heat embossing which was my main reason for buying this. Very sticky clear ink that works really well so I'm very happy with it.

No issues, did what it said it would

Tried this and it is OK but I much prefer the versa fine one.

Gets dirty quick, so be careful not to use stamps that have had ink on them, without washing them, before using them on this pad, but other than that, it works great! Gives me just enough to get the embossing powders to stick and gives great results!

Perfect for embossing with small and medium sized stamps

The inkpad was already pretty juicy when it arrived, but I added a little VersaMark clear inker because I prefer my inkpads extra juicy. So far the results that I've gotten from the pad have been excellent. the ink adheres well to every stamp I've tested, and does a great job holding onto my extra fine embossing powders. I haven't tried the pad out with my more coarse embossing powders, but I'm not concerned about having problems. My only niggle about the pad is that, while I like that the top lid is hinged to fold under the bottom and serve as a base, I wish that it locked when it's in this position. When you're using it and have the top folded beneath the bottom of the pad, the inkpad tends to lift up. I may someday upgrade to the Big & Bossy embossing pad because it's so much bigger, but for now, this meets all of my needs.
