Why does it say free delivery and when you put your order through it is over £20 delivery by

If it says free delivery it’s usually sent by a small company not under the Amazon delivery system. The Amazon delivery service gives free delivery if the order is over £20 and only when the order is over £20. If you join the Prime service, everything is free delivery but there’s a fee monthly for Prime. Prime also gives fast delivery plus films. I don’t need the films so l don’t use Prime. I just put items in my trolly then when l have enough items totalling the £20, l qualify for free delivery. . Sometime l think l have enough of a total to receive free delivery, but part of my order is from a small company who are not part of the Amazon free delivery service, and when that’s the case that item is not included and that means a message is given saying “ you need to spend whatever sum to get free delivery,”. That’s a bit of a nuisance! Usually though given some time, l gather enough items to qualify for free delivery. And last, you need to tick the correct box for dispatching the goods, as a charge for delivery will be added unless you tick free delivery. I am wondering if that’s what has happened to you, that even though you qualify for Amazon free delivery for items under Amazon free delivery over £20, you are not removing the small button that charges for delivery and selecting the free delivery service.
