Very good watch for the money
This is a brilliant watch for the money. Mine came in very nice packaging and from day one has kept fairly accurate time. If you want to the second accuracy buy a quartz watch. I wanted a watch that will never need a battery and will never need the back to be opened. And this one does the job perfectly. You will have to manually adjust the watch if the month has less than 31 days and to me thatโs a convenient time to adjust the time if it has gained or lost a few seconds over the previous month. Also the bezel on mine has no slack whatsoever and the zero pointer matches 12 on the dial perfectly. The sweep of the second hand is very smooth. The bracelet on mine is well made and comfortable to wear. It was easy to adjust by removing a few links and is now a lovely fit.Going by online reviews, this watch is either accepted for what it is, ie a submariner lookalike, or it is a blight on watchkind. To me it is just a very nicely made and nice looking watch for an amazing price, and it has a very good Seiko mechanism inside. Win win all the way. If you are a watch snob you wonโt bother anyway but if you want a nice accurate well built and good looking watch then donโt hesitate to choose this one.

A Good Watch for Your Money
For a diver's watch with claimed 200m water resistance, with mechanical, automatic movement, you're unlikely to get better value than from the Invicta Pro-Diver range, considering they use the proven Seiko NH35A movement. Ironically, the Seiko 200m diver's watch using the these movements cost over double the price. That said, the quality of their bracelet is a lot better (slightly thicker). The Invicta wings insignia on the dial, is a joke to anyone after the quality of engineering associated with top-of-the range, marque, Swiss watches. It looks like plastic, painted gold! It's advertised as a mans watch, whereas 'unisex' would be a fairer description these days. It's slightly smaller than a 'Submariner' and a lot smaller than a gents 'Seamaster'.The date change takes over an hour to complete (again, not what you'd expect on a quality watch). The movement being the NH35-A, as used by Seiko, is a lot better than cheap, Asian, automatic movements, often used elsewhere. So far, mine has maintained an accuracy of 30 seconds over 10 days; it gained 20 seconds over 7 days and then settled down, to gain a further 20 seconds by the end of the month. For a fairly cheap automatic, that's highly impressive and vastly superior to what you'd get from cheap, Chinese, self-winding movements; accurate only to only about 90 seconds a day.The luminous paint works brilliantly (better than what you might expect at this price). It is claimed water resistant to 200m; a Seiko automatic at this price would not be guaranteed water resistant beyond 50m.We now come to the crystal (claimed to be scratch-resistant Sapphire). Again, far batter than what you'd expect for ยฃ67 and the cyclops-window, date magnifier does a splendid job.Update - 29th December, 2014I've had the watch nearly a year now and so far, it hasn't deteriorated the way I expected. The glass still looks good as new and the casing shows only minor marks. There I'm sorry to say, the good news ends. The incredible accuracy I enjoyed during the first few weeks is now a distant memory. It looses 20-30 seconds a day. In fairness this is still a lot better than what you can expect from a cheap, Asian movement as fitted to most 'fakes'. Another thing that bothers me is that the description on Amazon, has changed. Mine was advertised last year as possessing a sapphire crystal. This has now been changed to mineral glass. Which of the two is correct bearing in mind that mine is the same model? Seems bit dodgy to me!Update- 19th January, 2015Used a special tool, purchased on eBay for less than a fiver, to remove the back and adjust the movement (a very easy task). Several attempts have now restored the accuracy to between 5-10 seconds a day, which I think is very impressive for the price. If you decide to adjust it yourself, however, do be careful to stop the flywheel by pulling the hands adjuster, and take great care not to touch the flywheel or hairspring. If you magnetise the flywheel or damage the hairspring, you'll need a new movement. A plastic toothpick is a good tool for moving the timing adjuster tab. Before doing this, however, I'd recommend detaching the strap to improve your line of sight. A magnifying glass (any convex lens will do!) also helps.30th August, 2015It's still accurate to 10 seconds a day and both casing and bracelet have worn very well. Overall, I'm very satisfied. This may not be in the same league as Omega, Rolex etc but represents excellent value-for-money to anyone wanting a solidly built, gents automatic. With its screw-down crown, it certainly looks the part though whether it really is 200m water resistant, most of us will never know!Overall, this is a good mechanical, automatic watch for the money, but slightly lacking in quality in terms of the weigh and solidity associated with the expensive brands most of us are familiar with. Those with big wrists would be much better off with the Grand Diver range of Invicta watches, as these not only posses these qualities, but are also guaranteed water resistant to 300m. Often, there's not much difference in price, so it really is a no brainer unless you have small wrists. If you do, forget it; you may get one to fit but would look daft wearing it!Finally, the only thing I dislike is the word invicta etched on the left side of the casing, in capitals. It seems grossly uneccessary detracts from the appearance. Why did they do it?

4 year review
It's early days because I have only had it a week but this is a beautiful timepieceI don't know how they do it at this price pointYes it doesn't keep perfect time, mine gains about 13 seconds a day, but you don't buy a mechanical watch for accuracyIf you want that, you get get a cheap quartz for less than a fiverThis watch looks and feels much more expensive than it is and I am delightedOrdered another, the 8927OBA few months in, still gaining just over 10 seconds a day, still love it... I own a Seiko Solar, Accurist quartz, Longines autos, Tudor autos and Rolex watches... for value for money these are top notchUpdate... I have owned this for a few months now and over the past couple of weeks I have had a go at regulating it.. I would not even attempt this with an expensive auto, but if you are careful, patient, and use a loop it can be done. The result is that this watch now runs at a consistent plus 2 seconds a day. Just to give a comparison, my Rolexes all run at plus 0.5 to plus 2, my Longines at plus 4 and my Tudor at plus 0.6. Quite remarkable that this can be achieved at this price point and says a lot about the quality of the Seiko NH35 autimatic movement. The watch still looks great. Now 4 years old and on a suede strap. The original strap is still fine stored in a drawer. I just prefer it on a suede. See the photos. One of my beater watches when out and about walking the dog or whatever. Nothing wrong with it. Still gains a few seconds a day, less than 5...Not swam in it but it has seen plenty of water, rain, washing the pots or the car etc. No issues. I mean it cost about 60 quid. It has already lasted longer than I expected.I have some very expensive watches, but for knocking about in as a beater watch this is great. A few years back one of my Rolexes was damaged during an attempted mugging. I ended up selling it even after it was successfully repaired. I never felt the same about it after that. If the same happened while I was wearing this I would give them the Invicta and buy another... ๐คฃI smacked another vintage Rolex on a door handle and cracked the plastic crystal. Hence why I now have a few beater watches like this...Sure it isn't a Seiko, but it has a Seiko movement...and it isn't a Seiko auto diver price...Sure it isn't a Rolex Sub, but you don't compare a Skoda Citigo with a Ferrari...I believe from other buyers there may be some quality control issues. But I bought a good one and any issues are likely to show up quickly.

Fantastic watch!
The Invicta 8926 is a watch that is a bit of a legend its certainly one Invicta got right and from time to time its updated. This model the 8926A which has the omega style (scalloped bezel)has the miyota 8215 automatic movement. Note that these are not the latest 8926 models the newer ones have the seiko (tmi) NH25, and then the NH35 movements are found in the very latest models. The newer models have update hands and better date magnification too. However these are more expensive in the UK currently. There is also the upgraded swiss sw 200 movement models of this style they not only have the upgraded movement but also the hands, strap and clasp, and crystal. This review is for the miyota movement invicta 8926 (the one in the picture lol)Build quality is good and the materials seem of at least average quality, i was very surprised by how the watch feels a lot more expensive. The case is very nice and is brushed and polished. The strap is solid stainless metal again brused and polished liks(not solid end links) and it feels good for the price!, the clasp is well made but is a little hard to come undone at first, i actually like that however. On the wrist the watch is comfortable. Its a very handsome watch. The style of the watch is Rolex like but with a touch of Omega. The Invicta branding is on the Face, side of case, Clasp and even on the links underneath the strap. Again i was surprised by how good the watch looks, it really does look a lot more expensive than it is!. The watch has a clear display back this is where you can see the movement doing its thing, the miyota 8215 while being a very reliable and fairly accurate movement is not exactly a pretty looking bit of machinery so its not that impressive being honest, the NH25, 35 and especially the SW200 movement versions are much nicer looking. Invicta make some very large watches this watch is more a sensible size and can be worn anytime and for any occasion it will look good.Accuracy is very good and should only need adjusting once a week. For the price currently ยฃ74 you cant get a better (new) watch in my opinion.

Good Quality, Smart Looking Great Gift.
I wanted to buy a watch for my Nephew's 21st birthday. My brief was to get a really good looking watch that had the qualities of an expensive watch but would be a watch he would wear everyday and not be too frighted about either damaging or loosing. This Invicata ticked all the boxes. It has the good looks of a Rolex which let's face it a heck of a lot of watches aspire to.The black goes with everything. It looks good.It is a Man's watch really heavy and thick but it looks really good. This is awatch that will be noticed yet is really functional. It is water proof.I know that my nephew likes to swim and this is the watch for him.I got an automatic because this is the favoured watch if you dive or go in water quite a lot.If it were a battery whilst you can easily reoplace the batteries it is the seals that you need to watch out for.If the seals fail then the watch is ruined.A nice touch with this watch is the rear where there is a glass back that allows you to see the movement action.A convesation piece if you like.I already have an Invicta Watch and am pleased with it BUT this one does look better. It is a decent price for a really good looking watch. You do need to get a couple of links taken out of the strap unless you are a big body builder.A decent local jeweler will do this for you for around a fiver.Believe me it is worth getting a jeweler to do this for you because they know what they are doing and a fiver for a good fit and a good job is worth it.The jeweler that did mine gave me bags of advice like don't adjust the connecting part that folds to the max because this puts a lot of strain on the bracelet- better to take another link out. etc.Sound advice. With a bit of care it will run and run and if the worst does come to the worst its reasonable price means it will not be the absolutely disastrous loss that you would get with a Rolex.Post Script. My nephew was pleased with the watch.

Fast watch
I like Invicta watches, so disappointed in this one. It runs fast, within 20 mins of setting the time itโs already 6 mins ahead. Leave it an hour & itโs 30 mins ahead. Let oks good, works bad. Itโs basically a watch shaped bracelet

Invicta automatic Pro DiverS2 9094 and Grand Diver
Invicta Men's Men Automatic Pro Diver S2 9094 Stainless-Steel Automatic Watch with Blue DialInvicta Men's Automatic Watch with Silver Dial Analogue Display and Multicolour Stainless Steel Plated Bracelet 13704Straight to the punch, both of these watches have amazing visual appeal, the pro diver in blue, has a look very similar to an Omega Seamaster, the Grand diver, in black and gold, looks similarly Swiss, but with an added dimension, namely its size. Both have lovely fine detail, in the glass back allowing you to view the movement and the Invicta wings detail on that lovely sweep second hand.Lets get things clear here, both look, from a meter away like their much more expensive Swiss-made cousins, indeed, my cousin owns a blue Seamaster, and he was impressed by the look, and weight of both time pieces.True, they loose, a few seconds a day, maybe a minute or so a week, but here is the news, ALL automatics loose time, at any price, anyone who says different is miss informed. There can be nothing that you intend to do whilst wearing either time piece that requires split-second timing over a few days or a week or so. if you want a watch with crackerjack time keeping, get a G-Shock!If you hear that its not accurate or bright enough for prolonged tank diving, again here is the rub, anyone who dives uses a computer, gone are the days of night-diving on your Omega, unless you are James Bond. The lume on either watch is, stunning, very bright, easily lasting until 6 AM, i.e. all night.Invest in an auto winder, 40 odd quid, keeps the movement active, and watch running, you will however have to add a few minutes if you have not worn it for a while.SO, overall, if you want a 2, 3 or 5 grand watch, there is, on close inspection no competition, however for a 20th, or possibly 50th of the price these timepieces are fantastic, in value, function and appearance. Remember, Swiss handmade timepieces still only come with a limited warranty, requiring annual service, which is many times the cost of either of these. Save your dough, invest in either, or both and spend the difference on snorkelling in the Maldives, your watch will not look out of place!

Very good quality.
Better than I expected. Top notch quality and looks. Love the transparent screw back. Nice not to need batteries anymore! Non-winding reserve time is relatively short and the dumb date (every month has same number of days) are the only shortcomings.

couldn't ask for more...
I purchased this watch about three weeks ago and absolutely love it. There is nothing not to like about this watch. The packaging is nice and acceptable and doesn't look bad or cheap. The watch itself is beautiful. I was really taken by its solid look and feel. This watch is hand wound which is a big plus compared to most other automatic watches out there double or sometimes triple the price. The watch measures 40 mm across the dial( without the crown) The crown is a push-down which ensure its water resistance. The bezel on this watch is unidirectional and a little hard to turn and needs some getting used to. So far the time loss on this watch has been 4 - 5 seconds per day which is phenomenal. This is what one would expect from Rolex Submariner.I highly recommend this watch.

I really like looking down at my wrist - this is a really great watch.
I. LOVE. THIS. WATCH. It is a great watch! I love that it is an automatic movement, so no need to ever worry about batteries. It seems to keep time very well - I set it to the exact time on my iphone at the beginning of the month, and by the end of the month, it is only off by a few seconds - not bad at all. Definitely as precise as I need it when synchronizing watches with the rest of the special forces commandos. It has a great look that seamlessly bridges the gap from casual to dressy when worn, I think. I usually dress in jeans and a work shirt, and it looks great, but when I slip into something a little more dressy, it rises to the occasion just fine. It is easy to read, and the one-way bezel works well (a little stiff at first, but broke in nicely after a month or so.) The power reserve seems to last two to three days without wearing the watch, which is more than adequate for me, as I generally wear it most days. In the rare circumstance where I go a week without wearing it, I just reset the time, manually wind it up, and happily go about my business.Cons? Not much at all, really. The luminescence is nothing to write home about, but I have very limited expectations in that regard unless I am getting a tritium capsule watch like a Luminox. This one is perfectly adequate, and you can see the hands when the lights go out if it's been in sunlight or under light indoors, but the luminescence will not last all night, let alone 20 years. The band is pretty stiff upon arrival, but it too breaks in after a little time. I was in a bit of a hurry to make it fit my wrist, so I warmed it up in hot water to soften it up, and then put it on one hole too tight so that it would form to the shape and size of my wrist as it cooled - that did the trick nicely. I may replace the band with a silicone one with a deployment clasp on it, just to add another layer of convenience, but at this point it does fit very nicely. This is a fantastic value, given the price. Stury, durable so far, hefty and very nice looking. It has all of the features I like best in a watch, and it works flawlessly. Highly recommended.
