2. I absolutely love this set! These polishes are easy to apply, cure quickly, and the colors are even more beautiful in person. The blue, green, and pearlescent swirl effect is stunning and has a depth that photos don’t fully capture. I’ve been doing my own gel nails for about 5 years and have tried a LOT of products across all price points. In my experience, higher cost does not always equal higher quality, and affordable doesn’t automatically mean low quality either. I’ve generally moved away from beginner sets in favor of higher-end products, but I decided to give this set a try and I’m so glad I did. These are excellent pearlescent gels. One important note: they are thicker and more “gloopy” than standard gel polishes. This is not a defect or a sign that the polish is old, so don’t be frustrated or disappointed. It’s simply the nature of this type of formula. I noticed some reviews complaining about the thickness, but honestly, that usually comes down to application technique. You need to float the gel on, remove excess from the brush, and build up thin, even layers gradually to avoid flooding the cuticles. My application process: • Nail dehydrator • Base coat • Two thin coats of Beetles gel • Clear top coat I haven’t mastered the magnetic effect yet, but even without using the magnet, these polishes look absolutely gorgeous. The bottles do get sticky on the outside, but that’s a minor inconvenience and wouldn’t stop me from repurchasing. Overall, this set exceeded my expectations. I’m so impressed that I’m already planning to look for more opaque and translucent colors. Beetles really delivered with this one! 💙✨

This is my second time using Beetles and here's what I personally recommend... don't buff your nails. Push cuticles back and clean them well with nail polish remover before applying the base coat, but don't buff them. Yes, this means they will come off sooner, but when they do they pop off in one piece! I'm a stay at home mom of five young boys and wash my hands a fair bit throughout the day. I do use gloves for washing dishes. For the first set I did, I didn't buff my nails and they lasted beautifully for about 8-10 days. Then, all on the same day one nail chipped and then one by one I could easily pop the rest off. My nails were perfectly clean and undamaged underneath and I didn't have to deal with a fiasco of acetone! Then the second time I did my nails I made the mistake of lightly sanding/buffing my nails with a filer, thinking it might help them last longer. They did not last longer--well at least not in nice condition--and came off in pieces. The parts that stayed on were a pain to get off. Plus after I was done using acetone and scraping it off my nails didn't look very happy, they were dry and well...scraped :( I personally don't like dealing with acetone (the mess, the risk of spilling on our wood floors, the chemicals, and the time) so I will never again buff my nails! I will leave them smooth so I can enjoy those 11 or so days of perfect nails before they easily pop off whole, rather than chipping in parts and looking awful for a few days until I take the time to do the full acetone process. Just my two cents! Now my opinion on these particular colors: The Pink Angel collection is fun, bright, and girly. I really love the color of the second-to-last mulberry pink in two layers - it's a perfect hot pink (first pic, right hand). 3 layers gives you more of the true mulberry color which is also very nice but deeper (second pic, left hand). I added one layer of glitter before the top coat. One of the glitter colors in the Pink Angel collection has a base pink color in addition to glitter, the other is a base of clear with darker pink glitter. It gives a few fun options for layering!

This product is super durable and easy to use. I really loved the colors; they're easy to match with our clothes and personal accessories.

As a new SAHM of 4 I am trying to save on costs. I don’t mind doing my nails at home, but never have the time to wait for them to try and I always mess them up. I love this nail kit. It takes me 8 minutes total to paint both hands and they are cured, and perfect! I can’t say on how long they last as my gel only lasts about a week from the salon or this kit either way because I pick at them. I will say that this kit doesn’t ruin my nails like a gel manicure at a salon does. The gel is hard and gives you that extra strength. I love the colors provided. The brush application is easy and covers great!

Beetles has become my favorite gel brand. I picked up the candy cane red at and love the rich reds. Will definitely buy more in the future.

Okay I’m getting right into it. I’m reviewing the set of pinks and I have some things 👏🏻to 👏🏻say👏🏻. Pros: -The pigmentation is perfect. I need 3 thin coats to get it to where I like it - 4 for the lighter colors. I like full coverage and a polish with a medium viscosity so that I can control the cuticle area. Ticks all of these boxes! -Brush shape is great for “bulldozing” or working the product toward the cuticle. Easy to keep the cuticle area clean and sharp because of the size of the brush. -Little to no odor. How?!?🤩 -Works well with gelish prep products & topcoat - lasts a long time (like 3 weeks) if paired with those!! -GREAT value for price. OPI actually pales in comparison. I have some colors by OPI that are similar shades and I need WAY more coats to get opacity. And I spent the same amount of money on one bottle of OPI as I did on this whole set of 6 colors. Oof. No shade towards OPI (they’re the OG’s of a lot of things), I just need better price-to-value ratio in the long-run! Cons: -If you want big bottles of these colors, these bottles aren’t big. Lol. But they aren’t microscopic either. I actually like the size - they’re easy to hold in your hand while doing a set on someone else. This is basically not a con. Unless you work in a salon and everyone is picking these colors all the time (which they might because they’re amazing). Okay now for the fun stuff! My dream of finding the perfect shade of light pink came TRUE with this set. Finally🥹♥️. If you’re looking for the perfect shade of cool-toned light pink, this set has it. The shade a521 is one that I RAVE about (first picture, I used blooming gel for the accent nails). I tried so many brands and colors and nothing did it for me. Until this set. So here I am, so happy🥹. Not even ashamed about how dramatic this paragraph was. 🥹 a519 is the perfect summer coral color - currently on my toes. 🤩 It’s complementary against a lot of skin tones! Plus, you won’t break your back if you’re doing your own pedicure because it’s super pigmented and you’ll get it done more quickly. I used the shades in this kit for my friend’s wedding nails & pedicure! She is a pink mega fan and this set of colors did it for her. 🥳 She loved the bubblegum pink shade a522 (second picture) so I put that on her toes and she liked the muted effect of the peachy a520 so that went on her nails (bonus, a520 pairs really well with a519 as an accent color, hopefully you’ll experience it and love it too😍). So basically, look no further for all the pink you need in your life. Yay.🥳 I know that was a lot, but basically you won’t regret this decision. I definitely don’t. 😌

Still new to doing nails so it may be user error but these are streaky and strangely sticky even after curing for 2 min.

this product is exactly as promised/described. The colors are rich, vivid, and opaque; and the amber color is clear, but it offers great coverage. After curing i was pleased that no colors were streaky- and no sticky residue remained, they were wireless gel colors. I have already created swatches of each color and was able to replicate the tortoiseshell look, as well as a rose quartz nail design (I used a translucent/jelly polish for the pink color but the shit was included with this set). I would definitely buy again! I would say only critique would be that there were no information included on how to use the blooming gel, however I was able to find the instruction on this Amazon listing- as well as about a million youtube videos lol. I can’t wait to try the seemingly endless nail designs using the blooming gel. As I have just applied the color fewer than 24hours ago, I haven’t tried to remove it so I can’t say for certain how easy/difficult it will be. Though after a quick file to remove the top/shiny layer, soaking in a mixture of warm water, acetone, & coconut oil has ALWAYS worked for me, the polish dissolves right off and the full cover nail tips pop off- absolutely zero damage to my natural nail. This method is all I’ll ever use bc it’s so much less stressful to my nail beds than scraping and peeling after foil wraps. I should also mention that I applied 2 coats of color over Beetles base gel, and finished with a coat of Beetles no-wipe topcoat and even though I was kind of rushed & messy, AND then last minute decided to change the shape from long almonds to fairly short squares (bc I’m indecisive af when doing my nails 😅)- I was able to chop the tips off without any cracking or chipping of any layer of polish, and file the sharp edges smooth. I simply added a new clear coat to seal the newly filed edge. I’ve never done that before and I am really surprised at how well the polish held up- it looks like I painted my nails after shaping them - you know, like a sane person would do. I’m so pleased that I’m going to go find more opaque & translucent colors- Beetles really is the best!

I purchased this nail polish because I liked the colours it came in. After applying it, I realized this nail polish was not drying because it is oil based! Beautiful coloured nail varnish, but that is the only positive thing I can say about it. Don't waste your money.

This is the candy land colour way from beetles. The pastels are so beautiful and go well with each other. I particularly love the soft blue and yellow colours which are very subtle and not too bright. The orange would also go well as a neutral base colour and suits my skin tone well.

Pretty pinks, beetles brand is good quality at a good price point.
