No. These are the two filters for the cabin air (air conditioning system). Air filter is a different size.

instructions on how to install?

I cannot recommend purchasing this filter from Amazon. I wrote about it in a review. Does not exactly fit my 97 540i. There are no instructions. Open canister, replace. Close canister.

I don't know if it will fit in your BMW. But, I suggest you Google online either the filter model number and see which models it fits or call your local BMW dealer to see which filter you need. Good luck.
