Bride Wars

This is a great movie which I love a good girly romcom it is about two childhood friends Emma Allen and Olivia Leaner are best friends who planned every detail of their weddings, it starts with as children in play Bridesmaids dresses playing dress up pretending too be married Emma Played by Anne Hathaway , is a Primary School Teacher and Olivia a Lawyer Played By Kate Hudson while they are together hanging out Olivia discovers a hidden Tiffany box in a closet, both friends are feeling excited knowing soon Olivia will be getting a proposal afterwards at home Emma gets a proposal from her Boyfriend, Olivia then gets restless waiting for her husband to propose and then she confronts him about this too which it appears he would have done it that night it then turns into both women comparatively going against each other, both girls start planning on being each other’s Maid of Honour, they would then schedule a meeting with New York’s most famous planner Marion St. Claire who tells both the girls there are only a certain number of reservations open in the Plaza Two were only on the same day and one a few days later, they were originally going too have different dates in June by then they are both booked in on the same date June the 6th the two of them then ask a bride of theirs Stacey too switch her date with Emma, but this is Stacey refuses which then results in Olivia getting in a fight with Stacey they have too both then leave the store as the weeks go by they both decide not too back down and go from Friends too Rivals, Olivia is very headstrong both women try outdo each other Emma by secretly sending Olivia Candy too make her too fat too fit in her dress, Olivia making Emma’s tan turn bright orange, Emma makes Olivia’s hair bright blue , Olivia then tries too register Emma on Babies R Us, as Pregnant and then Emma turning up at Olivias Bachelorette Party to our dance-her , in the end they decide too hug and make up afterwards , Emma decides not too marry Fletcher has she has changed a lot since they first met , and more the Manic Behaviour regarding sabotaging Olivia’s wedding, and Friendship . This is very much a girlie movie one too watch with girlfriends it has plenty of laughs .

Bride Wars is a great cheap and cheerful "chick flick". A welcome additional to my ever growing shelf of girly movies. I saw it in the cinema, and immediately knew I wanted it on DVD and finally I'm glad I have gotten round to buying it. The price is brilliant for what you get, can't fault Amazon on that! The movie itself is even better, following two life long best friends who grew up together and are now living in NYC, holding down professional jobs and living with their partners of long term relationships spanning at least a decade. The women are still as close as ever, almost like sisters, and are proposed to around the same time. However when planning their weddings they have dreamt of their whole lives, a error by a staffer at the wedding planning company means both their weddings at in the same hotel, at the same time, on the same day. It is both their dream for the date and location, but wish to be at each other's wedding. What follows is a huge fight where they won't change their dates and so end up planning their weddings without each other and childishly attempting to sabotage the other. Great fun to watch and I can't get enough of looking at Kate Hudson's hair in this movie, she should have it styled like that all the time!! The DVD itself doesn't have many extra features, and is sadly lacking a gag reel - something I know would've been great from this movie.

Review from 15 year old!: I bought this because it was something I had been looking for, for a while and was going to watch it on my laptop but when I bought it I was unsure if it would work on the laptop. Amazingly, it does! so I am happy about that and the movie is very funny and entertaining! It is a really good buy and have been ordering more films on Amazon!

If you want a comedy and a easy film to watch then this is it. Many funny parts and great storyline and ending, you would enjoy

a good chick flick, I personally love any film with kate Hudson but I would definitely recommend this film to any girl/woman.

Wife bought it. I was forced to watch it. Hopefully this saves another bro from watching it. Save yourselves and watch Terminator 2 instead.

Dies ist ein ganz wunderbarer Film über Sinn und Unsinn von weiblichen Rivalitäten, Erwartungen an Hochzeiten und die Sinnhaftigkeit von Frauenfreundschaften, die eine ganze Menge aushalten. Und auch über die lebenslange Bedeutung von Sandkastenfreundschaften. Ein Film, den man immer wieder schauen kann.

Moi qui suis une grande fan de film de filles, j'ai adoré tout ce que j'aime de la comédie, du romantisme et une grande histoire d'amitié ou pas , à vous de le découvrir. En tout cas, c'est un film que je vais adorer revoir à l'infini comme 27 robes ou sa mère ou moi
