Amazon Basics USB 3.0 Extension Cable, USB Male to Female, 4.8 Gbps High-Speed, 2 m, Black

Straightforward bit of kit—adds reach without messing with speed. Supports full USB 3.0 transfer rates (up to 4.8Gbps), so no lag or bottleneck when using external drives, soundcards, or peripherals. Gold-plated connectors grip firm and don’t wobble, even with regular plug-ins. Cable’s flexible but not flimsy—doesn’t kink or twist up behind desks. Length is ideal for setups where ports are tucked away or awkward to reach. No signal loss, no faff—just plug in and go. Perfect for drivers, gamers, or anyone who wants clean cable management and reliable performance. Minor gripe: no clip or tie included—worth adding one if you want to keep it tidy. 👍 Pros ✅ Full USB 3.0 speed—up to 4.8Gbps ✅ 3m length—great for extended reach ✅ Gold-plated connectors—solid grip and durability ✅ Flexible cable—easy to route around setups ✅ Plug-and-play—no drivers or setup needed 👎 Cons ❌ No cable tie or clip included ❌ Not ideal for high-power charging—data use only ❌ Basic packaging—no extras

Works great & very affordable!

Bought this cable to use with a desktop PC, to connect a portable disc drive which only had a VERY short lead It did not like being connected to the USB sockets on the front of the PC, only displaying power light, and the PC did not recognise the portable drive. However, when plugged in round the back, to a USB on the motherboard, it worked perfectly, So! be careful where you plug it in!

So i bought the 3.3 Ft extension cable 1 pack black, and dang i shouldve bought the 3 pack, this worked great, if youre like me and wanted to extend the playstation 5 controller charger wire just that bit more to reach, then this works and fast charges the controller. Out of 4 other products this was the only legitimately 1 that has worked and been working sonce i have had it, its been about 2 weeks now and still going strong, none of the other wires (you can see my reviews on them) worked atal. This does work on the playstation 5, i connected it from the actual playstation 5 on the front, then the charger wire into that end, this extended my wire over 7 Ft and it worked with fast charging and no problems. Reason why i write this if anyone needs a wire longer this is best method.

I'm a big fan of Amazon Basics products - so far for me they have represented value products which are well made and work well. This lead is no exception with nicely fitting connectors at each which provide just the right grip and insertion force when connecting up kit to give the user confidence. I'd recommend this product.

very high quality cable assembly

Enables my wife to charge her in car CCTV unit whilst driving if needed.

Wall-mounted TV users, this is the life-hack you need. Simply put: I needed a cable running from the back of my TV that was long enough that I could access it from a nearby cupboard without having to reach round to the back of the TV every time. Many people use USB sticks for recording TV or playing movie/photo/music content, and I wholeheartedly recommend installing a USB extension cable to make your life so much simpler - especially if you have a wall mounted TV. Simply install the cable, then mount the TV and never have to worry about trying to fiddle around at the back again. This extension cable, at 2 m, was perfectly long enough that I was able to completely hide away the cable and have some to spare. The cable uses USB 3.0 to read/write speeds are perfectly sufficient, even for playing 4K movie content through it (it also doesn't suffer in terms of speed due to the large cable length, as is the case with a lot of long cables involved in high-data transfer). The AmazonBasics lineup offers some pretty decent stuff, and the price of this extension cable makes it one of the best value on the market. Fantastic purchase.

It works.
