Good Product. THe only complaint I have is that it takes a bit of time in order to get image from the Gopro, but otherwise it works great.

Decent quality screen, build quality is a little questionable (being able to see the screen light through a gap in the plastic casing) but for the price, it's acceptable. Certainly a lot better than relying on the GoPro app!

Exactly what I needed at half the price of the go pro one.

I bought this for my old Hero 3+ as it does not have a builtin display. I also have a hero 6 black. What I noticed immediately is that the picture quality of this BackPack is nowhere close to the quality of the Hero 6 LCD. I bought this based on the positive comments here. Now I realise they all are lies or simply they dont know the quality of the GoPro LCD so they dont have an experince of comparing the two. For someone who has not seen a GoPro 6 screen this might be the best addition, but for me I would use the cam without this display. Because, in the outside with sunlight you literally cant see anything on this screen. I set the screen brightness to FULL. Still you cant see it. I have set the screen brightness of my GoPro LCD to 50% to save battery, still its far more clear under the sun. Next, the viewing angles are aweful. I wanted to use this in a gimbal. So, i might have to raise the gimbal or lower it to get the perfect shoct. The minute I move it away from my eye level, you cannor see anything on the screen. I think this is because of the screen technology. Somehow, I NEVER experience this on the GoPro screen. This is not that cheap either. So, unless you want to use this screen away from bright day light, and you want to always takes pics/vid on eye level, I do not recommend this.

A me serve per fissare le inquadrature della Hero 2 e Hero 3, che non sono munite di monitor, senza stare tutte le volte a fare un video di prova per poi controllare su un portatile. In dotazione c’è anche lo sportellino della custodia piu’ ampio, per poter ospitare il monitor all’interno, molto comodo.

I have the original GOPRO version of this that IS the touchscreen version. Just needed something to connect to that would allow me to see the field of view when mounted to my motorcycle. This fits the need. Nice unit and nice price. Happy with the purchase.

Maakt er zeg maar een normaler fototoestelletje van. Worden je foto’s of video’s er beter van? Nee, dat geloof ik niet. Wel wordt de kleine gopro 1 cm. dikker en 45 gram zwaarder en gaat het batterijverbruik met 30% omhoog. Als dit geen probleem is en je per se een zoeker wilt voor je onderwerp dan zou ik zeggen, kopen. Ik heb wel vaker meegemaakt dat een foto onscherp bleek te zijn op de PC, maar dat ik dat op het display niet zag. Daarvoor is de resolutie van het display te laag. Het setting menu van de Gopro werkt veel fijner via dit display, ook krijg je een extra setting om de helderheid aan te passen en eentje om het display afzonderlijk automatisch uit te schakelen na 1, 3 of 5 minuten. De meegeleverde achterkant van de waterdichte behuizing sluit prima. Bedenk dat je deze continu nodig hebt want anders is het display veel te kwetsbaar. Btw. De micro-usb aansluiting die er op zit is niet bedoeld voor de klant maar voor de producent. Al met al is dit display een leuke toevoeging voor een Gopro h4 black voor relatief weinig geld.
