Great quality gate latch
Make sure you have at least 3/4 inch clearance between the gate and the post for the latch. Simple. Great quality and makes a satisfying sound when the gate closes. Would recommend.

Easy to install and durable
Super easy to install, and seems to be durable. Fit perfectly on a wood 4x4 post and locks the gate I made very well. Looks good and has a great weight to it.

Rock solid latch!
This is an excellent high quality latch. It comes with clear instructions and high quality hardware for mounting the latch. I mounted the door side hardware slightly lower so the door gets pulled up when closed. This helps distribute the door weight on both the left and right 4x4s. The video review asks to flip the latch upside down for right side mounting. That's incorrect. Follow the instructions included.

Heavy duty auto locking latch. It required a chisel to fit my application. It was too wide for the clearance in between the post and gate.
